Community Mining Events
  • Empire Minecraft hosts a variety of mining events for the Community. The goal of these events is to get people together with their friends on a profitable and fun adventure. There are no prizes for these events, and the intention is for players to socialize and mine with friends.

    Origin(top)

All of EMC's mining events began with Friday Night Miners. It was created by EMC member samsimx in June of 2014, and over time, the event was adopted as an official EMC event, and is now hosted by multiple EMC staff members.

Since then, the event has become a weekly tradition titled Miner Mania. Other mining events, such as Midnight Miners, have also been created. Variations of the event are sometimes held by players, which you can view in the Event Hub provided that they have been submitted.

    Information and Participation(top)

Miner Mania is hosted at various different times, and Midnight Miners occurs at midnight EMC Time. For specific dates and times, please visit the Events Hub.

The specific server where the event in question takes place changes on a weekly basis. Sometimes it is held in the Nether.

Occasionally, players hand out gear to other players, but it is highly recommended for players to bring their own armor, tools, and food.

While it is not necessary, the official EMC Discord server is used to communicate between players and is highly recommended to be used during the events.

For more information on the event, visit the forum threads for Midnight Miners and Miner Mania.

Take part in events on EMC, host one yourself or visit a special Empire residence.
