Pi Day is an annual celebration commemorating the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter (pi, or π). It is celebrated on March 14th (3/14) due to the numbers 3, 1 and 4 being the first three digits of pi. March 14th, 2015 was said to be the ultimate Pi Day because the exact date and time ( 3/14/15 at 9:26:53 ) combine to make the first ten digits of pi.
