The Empire Author's Manuscript is a specially renamed piece of paper that was created as a first place prize in the redstone category for the 2015 Follow the Leprechaun Adventure Map Building Contest, in which participants had to make an adventure map with an accompanying story. This was awarded to the first place winner, Uber_Corq. Due to its name and lore, the manuscript is a very unique item. This item was released along with the Empire Builder's Wand (Spring of 2015) and the Empire Mechanic's Voltmeter.Empire Author's Manuscript

Lore: Winning Author of the March 2015 EMC Adventure Map Contest: 'Follow the Leprechaun'
The item was re-released on November 5th, 2018, as a prize for the prose winner of the Life Changes Prose/Poetry contest. It contains an aqua name and a blue lore. The Empire Poet's Quill was awarded to the poetry winner.
In October of 2023 the Manuscript was awarded once again to the winner of the Writing Contest: A Day in the life of EMC Staff! This version has an orange name and green lore.
