Community Defender

The Community Defender is a prize for the EMC Community Appreciation Award Contest. The original nominations started during July of 2013, and the prizes were awarded in August of that same year. The second period of nominations took place from January 1st, 2014 to June 30th, 2014, and the third nomination period took place from July 1st, 2014 to December 31st, 2014. The fourth nomination period took place between January 1st, 2015 to June 30th, 2015.

There were four Community Defenders given out for the 2013 award, six given out for the early 2014 award, four given out for the second 2014 award, and four given out for the early 2015 award. All of the blades have the same lore and enchantments, but the attack damages are different. The blade is not final, so the owner can add enchantments if they wish to do so.

The winners of the Community Defender also got a special certificate, which, in 2013, was lored and written by Maxarias. In 2014, it was at first lored and written by krysyyjane9191, though for the third and fourth award, it was signed by her new username, Krysyy. All certificates can be seen in the spoiler below, and beneath that is an image of a Community Defender, which has remained unchanged so far:
