What do you like to do IRL? mainly video games.
Favorite animal and why: owls. i just like how they look.
Favorite thing about EMC: that it is almost vanilla minecraft.

"Way back in my early school days, I heard about this game called "Minecraft" that was really starting to gain popularity, I decided to finally buy it myself and my friend gave me an IP for a multiplayer server that he played on. That server just so happened to be SMP6. So I first joined there and then I never really left EMC."

Q&A What do you like to do IRL? I like to play my video-games, work on various Cosplays/Art, and attempt to learn code.

Favorite thing about EMC: I would say the Community, I know it's a typical answer but it's true.
Favorite color and why: Lime green. So vibrant and lively. It blends well with my second favorite of black.
Favorite Minecraft feature: Stonecutter. It makes my stone-masonry skills so much easier.
Favorite Minecraft block: I'm a real sucker for the Beacon, but for my typical building block I'd say Sea Lantern.
If you were a mob in Minecraft, what would you be and what would you do? Enderman. Just look at my skin, I envy that teleporting and block stealing skills.
Favorite music: Chiptune, Game Soundtracks, Movie Soundtracks.
Pets? One dumb ol' dog, one fat cat, and an aquarium of fish.
If you had to lose one sense, what would it be? Smell, I like my others more.

How did you find EMC? "I was trying to change the topic of a Chat gone off the rails in one of the most disreputable yet entertaining rooms on Kongregate. I started talking MC, and mentioned I'd never been on a MC server before, and I'd like to try one. Someone there recommended EMC to me. I joined EMC with some trepidation since it had been recommended by the professional trolls. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised "
What do you like to do IRL?: If I'm not at a computer, I'm in the ocean
Favorite animal and why: Sharks fascinate me, as do several mythical animals. Sharks have incredible diversity, and their evolution is something to behold. Mythical animals because the human imagination is a wondrous thing.
Favorite Website: --shrugs-- don't have one.
Favorite thing about EMC: Vanilla is altered just enough to make it really interesting yet keeps it the same game I love in SP.
Favorite color and why: Probably black because I'm an old punk.
Favorite Minecraft feature: Creative mode so I can fool around trying stuff out before spending a ton of time in survival gathering resources, wearing out tools, etc.

If you were a mob in Minecraft, what would you be and what would you do?: Probably a creeper because creepers want hugs but tend to explode.
Favorite music: There are only two forms of music to me. I like it or I don't LOL. I am all over the place and enjoy a large variety. Anything with an old punk vibe to it I'm just about guaranteed to enjoy. I'm a Misfits person, not a Ramones person,(link)
Pets?: Doggies <3 Currently, we are down to just Vader. Sether, Dante, and The Evil Known As Bumble Bee have passed on after long happy lives.
If you had to lose one sense, what would it be?: Not my dang hearing which is what I'm currently losing. Out of them all, I'd probably lose smell.

Progryck joined EMC on October 6th, 2014, and joined the Build Team on April 24th, 2022. "Way back in the year of 2012 I started playing minecraft. For the first few years I didn't have the option to play online so I created many offline Worlds. Once I joined the online servers I found it difficult to enjoy any of the wild and crazy servers that were so prevalent. I was actually about to give up on my search when I stumbled upon EMC. The playerbase seemed much more mature and calm and my builds didn't get griefed nearly as often as other servers. Once blockprotection was fully implemented I was completely sold on the safety and security EMC provided."

What do you like to do irl? I enjoy some outdoor activities, hiking and camping whenever there is time. During the colder months I'll probably stay indoors though, which is when I will most likely be found making drawings, both digital and physical.
Favorite animal and why: Rats. Domesticated rats are very kind and loving.

Favorite thing about EMC: random Community involvement. Always nice to see Community Chat go wild for no reason. Also Feature Signs, can't live without those anymore.
Favorite color and why: a deep and royal purple. Feels luxurious but also surprisingly versatile.
Favorite Minecraft feature: Command blocks. The ability to "program" a game inside a game, yes please.

If you were a mob in Minecraft, what would you be/what would you do? A Redstone Bug (look em up, introduced in the april fools update of 2013, version 2.0)
Anytime anyone mentions anything redstone related I might randomly show up to either fix it or make it 10 times worse.
Favorite music: I'm on the extremes. Either pure classic piano without any lyrics, or completely over the top very heavy lyric based songs, there is no in between.

So i had been playing in singleplayer for years, and i decided to try out a server. however when looking for one to try i was incredibly picky (still am for that matter) i looked for one that had NO PvP, NO factions, NO minigames (shudders i still hate alot of the minigames), vanilla survival. it took me about a year to find emc and while it wasn't a perfect applicant for what i was looking for, i decided to jot down the server address. After about 3 months of agonizing with things like will they like me, will i like them, maybe i shouldn't i'm too quiet and introverted, you know my usual self doubts, At around 230-ish am EMC Time on december 12th 2014 i decided to just take the plunge and instead of backing out and retreating to sp as usual i hit join. And i've been around ever since, no regrets, well ok one regret...not trying the server when i first found the ip "

What do you like to do IRL? sleep, eat, read, legos, i also enjoy cooking, music, and believe it or not camping...in a tent far away from people, internet, and cell service.
Favorite animal and why: Spiders! They're just sooo cute! not to mention beneficial, interesting creatures and highly under appreciated :< i also have a soft spot for penguins and snakes.
Favorite Website: i have two: fanfiction.net and archiveofourown.org
Favorite thing about EMC: what if your favourite thing about emc IS emc... seriously. i cannot pinpoint one specific favourite aspect, the accepting fun Community, the protected plots, Frontier survival options. they all have their own place on the server and its fun to mix and match and interect.
Favorite color and why: Black, because it goes with everything. (also have a high appreciation for hot pink, lime green, crimson, and lavender)
Favorite Minecraft feature: the ability to squish yourself in a composter with a trapdoor and have it function as a legitimate safe house at night when the mobs are out. smallest working safe house i know of and easy to get in 1-2 minutes of playing a new world.
Favorite Minecraft block: its 50/50: Gold blocks and clay balls
If you were a mob in Minecraft, what would you be and what would you do? if i were a mob in minecraft i would probably model it after a roleplay character i created almost 15 years ago and still use off and on to this day. She's a shapeshifting daemon/mermaid hybrid called a hydroxaerion, and they can survive in both lava and water as well as walk on land due to her unique heritage which means no using one or the other to slow the mob down and escape, her speed would also be similar to that of a baby zombie. Once aggroed she is tenacious and will attack with a fire ball (fire charge) attack up to 25-30 blocks away, and switch to a sword attack when she's within 3-5 blocks. the only way to escape her would be to kill the mob or attempt to outrun her.
Favorite music: while i have a preference to the varying types of rock and metal i will listen to just about anything from classical and big band to yes even country and some pop.

If you had to lose one sense, what would it be? (does common sense count?) on a serious note if i had to loose one sense it would probably have to be touch, i enjoy food to much for taste/smell, without vision i couldn't play minecraft, and hearing is essential for music.
