A Super Turkey is a special version of a chicken that was created as a temporary mob for the 2014 Thanksgiving Event, reappearing every year since.

Super Turkeys have fiery particles surrounding them, and cannot be damaged by fire. They automatically attack the player regardless of difficulty.

Super Turkeys were initially extremely difficult to kill until the 2016 version was released with 50% less health and one less resistance level. The health amount was reduced again after the 2020 season.

Super Turkey has been reintroduced yearly since 2014, releasing on the following dates each year:
    • November 26th, 2014
    • November 25th, 2015
    • November 20th, 2016
    • November 19th, 2017
    • November 20th, 2018
    • November 24th, 2019
    • November 26th, 2020
    • November 26th, 2021

Upon spawning, the message "Gobble Gobble..." - similar to those created by custom boss mobs - will appear in the player's "action bar" in the middle of their screen. After this, players will see "You hear gobbling from x chunks away [x]" The latter number, [x], is a unique ID of the turkey you are being alerted of, in case there are multiple.

Super Turkeys spawn occasionally in the place of normal chickens, resulting in the majority of spawns occurring underground or in the Nether (due to chicken jockeys spawning). Super Turkeys can also occasionally spawn in the End.

The boss spawns toggle in Player Settings underneath survival do not affect whether or not the Super Turkey spawns. Instead, Event Mob Spawns underneath the Survival option in your Player Settings determines whether Super Turkeys will spawn for you (however, they may still spawn for another player near you).

Super Turkeys despawn after 60 days.

    Unique Drops(top)

The looting enchantment will increase the likelihood of the Super Turkey dropping loot when killed. The player's difficulty in their Player Settings will not affect the drops from the Super Turkey, as they are all locked to difficulty 5.

Note: Based on difficulty 5. These tables focus on Custom Items. If you notice an error, contact MoreMoople

There's an array of EMC exclusive mobs in the Wastelands and Frontier.
