I've been keeping busy harvesting blue ice, if anyone was wondering. :)

Conduits make exploring Ocean Monuments fun.

RetroGamingNow speculated from a lore perspective that conduits were specifically designed by ancient builders to be a "key" to the otherwise nearly unbeatable ocean monuments.

I'm going with a cuppa Tipp's. The misty overcast day is so relaxing I caught myself dozing off twice now just before spilling the tea.

I thought beds exploded in the end. I ventured out there and set a spawn point with a bed without thinking and luckily it didn't explode. Is it just in the nether where they explode?
      1. chickeneer
They do not explode on EMC. Since there isn't another way to set a spawn point in the end.
This is a legacy mechanic from when you could set bed spawns ANYWHERE on EMC

And this โ€œlegacy mechanicโ€ is one I love so much because I have an end base on smp1.. I love the End.

Yeah, legacy meaning a different time of Minecraft motivated it.
If we were starting a server today, we probably wouldn't implement this due to the significance bed explosions have in MC speedruns.

Sitting in the livingroom with the door open to let the sounds of the crickets enter while I enjoy the day's first mug of coffee. ๐Ÿ™‚

Haha, how did you know? There is a screened door but one of the dogs put her foot through it so the bugs fo get in.

Incredible, it's raining! I'm going outside now to enjoy it. As a kid I used to collect as much rain as possible with my siblings as it gushed out of the downspouts. We were soaked but having fun. Of course the event ended with a massive water bucket fight. ๐Ÿ™‚

As a Brit, I never thought Iโ€™d say this: but Iโ€™m jealous. We havenโ€™t felt rain in over a month here. I miss that summer experience of falling asleep during a post-heatwave thunderstorm.

Where the H E double sticks is the rain already!! Of course it is always raining in game and now that I play with sound on it just makes me realize how long it has been since I heard that in real life.
      1. MoreMoople
It was raining like crazy here yesterday! I got my windshield wipers replaced minutes before it started and I still could barely see with them on the fastest setting o.o
        *Sends rain to you*

I meant to say in the last status post, I'm feeling hot hot hot! Close to a 100 f here. If I had a pet Balrog it would be sitting under a shady tree sippin on an iced tea.

Not really, quite easy to get. It's just due to the bidders not really understanding the current economy

Seriously, TopG had me pick all the livingroom pictures!? Isn't that open to individual interpretation? I just clicked every picture, and passed. I am a human, WooHoo!

Thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚ I enjoyed standing in the middle of them. They were about 7' tall and the brightest yellow you could imagine. I think this year might be just like that one, I hope.

I helped harvest our garlic a couple days ago. The weather was perfect for them to grow to the largest I'd ever grown. We harvested just shy of 1500 heads. I do like cooking with garlic. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Cut flower/Produce farmer
I'm a farmer in real life. I used to be the Sr. Diagnostic Software Engineer for an image processing company.

I took the picture below in 2020. People love sunflowers so I grow as many as possible each year to sell. The flowers in the field have been used many times over the years as a background for someone's photo. That's what it's all about, really. Doing something I enjoy to try to brighten the lives of others.

That's the upper part of my field and my house in the background.
