Collected my first bat head yesterday after running around swatting after the 461st bat. That took me a few years.

I have beacons set up in Mando's finished big dig if anyone wants to fight mobs in a level contained area. Now that the candy swap is wrapping up that's where I'm spending time. It's on smp3 Waste NE then head NE for about one rocket distance, if flying.

One players trash is another's treasure. Killing mobs in the waste alongside another player that creates dump piles of items is a really quick way to fill shulkers with goodies. 🙂

Okay, I have chips and french onion sour cream dip in front of me right now. I prefer ruffle or ripple chips because they can handle greater strain when going through the dip, thus more dip. Which kind do you prefer, ruffle/ripple or plain potato chip?

Canning pickled Diakon is today's IRL main task. Scrounging around the Wasteland is the on going in-game activity. 🙂

RetroGamingNow speculated from a lore perspective that conduits were specifically designed by ancient builders to be a "key" to the otherwise nearly unbeatable ocean monuments.

I'm going with a cuppa Tipp's. The misty overcast day is so relaxing I caught myself dozing off twice now just before spilling the tea.

I thought beds exploded in the end. I ventured out there and set a spawn point with a bed without thinking and luckily it didn't explode. Is it just in the nether where they explode?

They do not explode on EMC. Since there isn't another way to set a spawn point in the end.
This is a legacy mechanic from when you could set bed spawns ANYWHERE on EMC

And this “legacy mechanic” is one I love so much because I have an end base on smp1.. I love the End.

Yeah, legacy meaning a different time of Minecraft motivated it.
If we were starting a server today, we probably wouldn't implement this due to the significance bed explosions have in MC speedruns.

I'm a farmer in real life. I used to be the Sr. Diagnostic Software Engineer for an image processing company.

I took the picture below in 2020. People love sunflowers so I grow as many as possible each year to sell. The flowers in the field have been used many times over the years as a background for someone's photo. That's what it's all about, really. Doing something I enjoy to try to brighten the lives of others.

That's the upper part of my field and my house in the background.
