It became available on December 26th, 2019 upon the release of the 2019 Holiday Event. At the spawn of the Event World, players could collect a promo item, which was either a Santa Hat or Elf Hat. There was only a 1/10 chance it would be the Santa Hat.
Throughout the /event world, players could also collect goodies from 15 of 25 'mystery box' chests.
The hat is dyed with HEX color FF0000.
