Cupid's Bow

The Cupid's Bow is a special promotional bow released originally in 2014 for Valentine's Day and subsequently re-released in the following years several times. The bow has had several different enchantments over the years, but after the 2014 and 2015 versions, a few things remain constant: the Infinity enchantment and the Soulbound, Final and Unbreakable Attributes. One ability shared by all Cupid's Bows regardless of release date is the Heart Arrows function. Arrows shot from the Cupid's Bow will trail heart particles, as will targets hit with the bow. The particles will remain above a target's head for 5 minutes before disappearing.

In 2014, the Cupid's Bow was released using the regular /promo command as a single promotional item.

In 2015, the Cupid's Bow was given to the player when the Cupid Bundle promotional item (claimed using /promo) was opened. However, during both years, the bow was released with the same lore and the same function, so there are no differences between the 2014 and the 2015 Cupid's Bows.

In 2016, the Cupid's Bow was released again using the /promo command, but it was overhauled. If any Cupid's Bow is fired, it will reset to full durability, it will obtain the Infinity enchantment, and it will become unbreakable. Previously, the bow could induce animals to breed by creating heart particles above their head, but this breeding component was removed. In 2017, the Cupid's Bow was released again using the /promo command. It was the same as the overhauled version that was released in 2016, with the Infinity enchantment and Unbreakable attribute.

In 2018, a limited edition Cupid's Bow was given out to a few lucky players during Krysyy's Valentines Day events. The lore was modified to also have "2018 Valentine Edition" in it. It has the Infinity enchantment, along with the Final, Soulbound, and Unbreakable Attributes.

In 2019, the Cupid's Bow was released during the Purple People Party. There were 32 Cupid's Bows dropped during this event. It has the Infinity enchantment and Unbreakable, Soulbound, and Final Attributes.

In 2020, the Cupid's Bow was one of the items placed in the Valentine's Gift Box, along with a stack of Cupid's Arrows and several other non-Promotional Items. This Cupid's Bow was the same as the ones released in 2016, 2017, and 2019.
