As for the rest of it:
That "soonest" date of Jan 21st got me. Was pleasantly surprised to see the update occuring by forum announcement.
Now for the life of me, I can't remember if I got everything out of the waste. Now if I can just get to feeling better (sick atm) so that I can get online and join in all the new fun!

And mods... Must update mods. Still thought I had a few days to finish that also.

You know what they say about temporary fixes? Nothing more permanent than a temporary fix!

Are the heights extended in the nether/end?

The residence bookmark feature sounds nice too.

I'm pretty sure Sky doesn't mean that dirt would be removed whether the player wants it or not, that would be weird. The point is that currently you need to bother senior staff in order to get the dirt on your residence removed. Now that there's a command for removing dirt, why not always let people use that command?

So to be clear, it removes all dirt except the layer where the bedrock used to be? Or does it remove all dirt layers including the old bedrock layer, in which case it's useless to me...

I think something around 20 bookmarks for quartz players would be a good start, I probably visit 10-15 res regularly and then have a few extra spots for friends res/some cool places to look at (and more which can be unlocked with supporter).

Are the bookmarks SMP based or community wide?

will there be discounts for dirt removal between reses if we had already paid for one? gonna cost me hecka money to get my reses dirt free again

Chicken you ability to provide a stable update within a reasonable time frame is one of the greatest highlights of EMC. Thank you and anyone else who contributed to this update.

Is there an option to keep that layer? I need to keep it. There are items placed on top of there that would break if it disappeared, such as torches and signs. There's also lava, which means that if that dirt is gone, the lava will flood my underground.

Judging from the amount of reses in my handy book & quill of important reses, yes. I have xD I need 50 bookmarks... per smp
