For the 2nd time Trelet is establishing a new form of government for the country. In modern-day (2018) terms, I believe it's called a benevolent dictatorship, but we are going to modify that and call it a Treletian autocratic democracy (TAD for short). I know that autocracy and democracy are antonyms, but let me explain. This is a type of autocracy where one person rules the country without many restraints, but is still required to hold elections for lower positions and votes for some major laws and projects. (the leader of the country is not required to stop a project if it doesn't get a majority vote, but it is highly advised to postpone it until you get a majority vote.) Implementing the Treletian autocratic democratic system (TAD) will take until post 206.

The Empire has its concerns about Trelet’s autocracy, but the Empire is in a good position long-term, and there is a famine short-term. The Empire merely prays Trelet does not decide to succeed the USA.

Just refine your economy, take on big projects to gain money, produce technologies, weaponry, make deals with other empires, work on your government, and even send troops across the earth.

TUN proposes a new idea to Trelet. We will allow citizens of Trelet to pass through New York State via the highway freely without border checks. Although, any cars going out of highway exists, or any Trelet citizens wishing to enter New York via highway, must go through border checks. In the future, we should work on uniting New York and Trelet. All were neighboring states of the same country once, hopefully we can allow citizens easier freedom in moving through borders. We are of very similar culture, maybe the United States can bring itself back...
Accepted. Trelet hopes our two countries can establish a much easier customs process. This starts with organizing our files. All residents are now required to go to centers around Trelet where they fill out a form including their name, age, current address, and other personal info. We will be storing these files in various locations. Anyone who doesn't fill out the form will be fined $100 per week 'till they do. We will be giving these files to TUN, but only including criminal background. When a Treletian tries to leave the highway in New York, TUN can check their criminal record to see if they can enter.
The Designs for the M41 Walker Bulldog are complete. The M41 is faster, better armoured, and has much better firepower than the M24 Chaffe. The Bulldog will be used for reconnaissance missions and close infantry support, as well as airborne deployment. The M24 Chaffee is expected to be replaced fully by the M41 very soon. Over 1,000 M41 Walker Bulldogs built by the Cadillac company are expected to be finished in 6 posts. TUN has seen The Empire's missile capabilities, and it's not looking good. Getting into a battle with The Empire could end in a victory, although victory would have to be to the cost of millions of lives, and billions worth of equipment. To counter this, TUN has undergone their own missile projects to create the best of the best, although no one can build more missiles than The Empire can. TUN also suspects a secret missile project being undergone by The Empire. Details are not clear, but it is suspected that they are planning a missile capable of travelling internationally... No words are clear yet though.
The Empire is not pleased. While the Empire regulates, this seems a little... questionable. The Empire might call Trelet out on this, considering that they’re giving these files away to another nation. After all, the Empire is silently judging Trelet.

The Empire has a pretty shaky situation diplomatically. The whole messy famine is gone, so the Empire is fortifying and rebuilding the west. This situation cannot be allowed to exist, as having a number of states which are buddies with you is going to help you drastically. Therefore, the Empire has begun negotiations with several parties in order to form the "Global Advancement and Defense pact", formally known as GAD. The GAD would be a economic, technological and defensive alliance between all countries involved. Economic and Military aid would be exchanged liberally. Here are the parties the Empire has contacted. (Since this pact is so huge, It will take 2 years to negotiate the thing.) Mexico France Ukraine Iran changed to Iraq after Saudi-Iranian tensions. Spain, added after extensive negotiation. Egypt, added after extensive negotiation. Sebia [INFORMATION BREACH, ANTIMEME DEPLOYED] Poland Iceland Portugal Swissilla changed to Khazakstan halfway through. and Saudi Arabia. This placement of initial nations is designed to do 4 things. 1. Provide the Empire with many "appendages" worldwide. 2. Constrict a certain nation which the Empire has only been building tension with for 5 years. 3. Give the Empire access to many resources. 4. Give other nations a chance to thrive and to mutually benefit. This pact is one that was designed with all four factors in mind. The Empire has no further desire or benefit to conquest. Rather better to sit back and give away surplus to other nations, all while reaping the benefits of deterrence. This is also a hereby sure request to the Nations involved to create the pact in a conference. The military part, being comparatively simple will only take 10 posts to arrange. The economic part, having a lot of numbers to crunch will take between 35 to 45 posts, that being roughly 2 years. An RNG will be used. The tech part is included in this. EDIT: 38 posts! WAIT NO.
