Chris Chibnall takes over between 2018 and 2022, and decides to destroy fifty years of established lore, wrote some of the worst episodes of the show ever from the get-go, acting and scripts were rubbish and the show basically died.

Russell T. Davies came back last year and this 60th anniversary special was his first episode back. The episode was centred around a storyline he made towards the end of his tenure in 2009, and the episode suffers the exact same problems that his late stage episodes did - better than late stage Moffat, better than all of Chibnall's, but still not... great.

Add onto that the episode has identity politics/issues very front-and-centre and really shoves them in your face in a really jarring way, and one line (a line which is being made fun of by the community it was uttered for) had me and my girlfriend look at each other and burst into laughter because it was so cringey. Really brought the episode down even further.

Was it that new hazelnut one? I went to get that on my way to work and not only did they not put the lid on properly (but close enough so I didn’t notice before taking a sip) so that when I tried to drink it half of it spilled down the front of my jacket, but it was also so bad I threw the rest of it out. €6.40 ladies and gentlemen

For the record I still have that job I took a few weeks ago, but it pays absolute bare minimum wage and it’s probably the most stressful job I’ve ever done in my life. I hate it and wake up every day having to convince myself to go in. Looking for something else.

Seriously, it makes you wonder who gave them their job. I wish you didn't have to deal with crap like that. She gets paid to walk around on her phone and talking down to others. We have a word for those...

The job rejection letter was from Iceland so I'm in the exact same boat 💀 i would take anything at this point

It's crazy because so many retailers have openings right now, I'll spam 50 applications in a day and not only do I not get an interview, I get a rejection letter from a place that does not require any kind of experience or skills

I was desperately pursuing an admin role with some job agency last week and I’m more than qualified to do it but they sent me on a wild goose chase, telling me to submit and re-submit documents etc., for a whole week before telling me that actually I can’t have the job. There are so many unskilled jobs available rn and I have no clue why they don’t want me 💀💀
