  1. Vermont is being handled swiftly. The government is being taken over for the mean time, and citizens are informed that due to their Constitutional rights they can practice their free speech. This means, protesting is allowed, although riots which evolve into vandalism and getting others hurt is 100% illegal, and due to the circumstances will get you a hefty fine for the damages and a large amount of jail time.

There has been an anti-resistance movement by the UNAF and they are making great progress by stiffing out rogue groups and getting them behind bars.

Vermont is in total chaos right now, protests and riots everywhere and many, many discerned citizens, although TUN keeps trade routes and food supplies open to the citizens.

There is hope though, there are many citizens which are in support of TUN invasion and gladly accept them. Hopefully more people and the media can turn like this, TUN doesn't want fighting, they want the Vermont people to live peacefully... A bill will be signed shortly regarding this.

  3. What's going on OP? Sorry to stress you out, but you're getting a bit behind. You need to add India to The Empire, You need to add Trelet + Massachusetts to the map, add hawaii and vermont to TUN, and add Belac's country.

Belac should of joined a while ago, but apparently he needs approval.... I don't know how much he wants to do this anymore.

  4. Here OP, I made it a bit easier on the job for you. Instead of having to add all the countries, I kept count and I did. Please let me know if there are any errors, just download it. (Also, I'm just assuming Belac555 is in the game..)

  8. Yeah it's fine, I understand. I've just been busy with job applications and deciding on the best date to start my TEFL course on, as well as feeling out a few colleges I can go to to get my maths qualification done. All my free time since my internet stopped messing up due to the storm system over my house has gone to being out with family and with my gif. I keep meaning to do it when I log in here but I don't get the post alerts so I forget. Oof.

I'm on my phone atm so I'll update the map in the morning. I promise this time :p

Belac may join in. For future reference, the post like is my approval.

  9. IMPERIAL REPORT: ETHICAL VIOLATIONS IN THE ANNEXATION OF REGION INDIA.
The Imperial invasion of India was largely ethics-violations free, with only major incidents being reported here for posterity. The stringent laws of the Empire is believed to have reduced violations, as violations against invaded peoples would be assigned as the crime as well as undermining imperial interests.
Incident Alpha: Rape of 15 women and subsequent punishment.
A major manhunt occurred for a serial rapist. An Imperial soldier had raped 15 women and promptly murdered all witnesses as evidence. The soldier did not return to their barracks, and following investigation it was found the soldier had fled to the region of Korea. The soldier was of Japanese origin. The soldier was found and executed according to martial law.
Incident Beta: Killings of 7 Indian citizens by 5 soldiers and subsequent investigation.
After a peaceful protest against Imperial occupation turned violent, Indians started throwing rocks at the soldiers in charge of security. After the Indians ignored instruction to stand down, the soldiers fired. After this incident, 2 soldiers committed suicide. The rest were convicted of imperfect self-defense and violation of operational procedure. They serve 20-year jail sentences.
Incident Gamma: Mass beating of over 100 Indians and subsequent investigation.
After a violent riot suppressed by soldiers, group punishment occurred. 112 Indians were beat indiscriminately by soldiers, 9 of which were children. 7 died, 1 of which was a child. This incited a violent riot where the soldiers who had beaten them died, with the exception of 3. The three were sentenced to 35-year jail sentences.
In conclusion, the Imperial invasion was an ethical success, especially after in the case of any incidents the harsh punishment. These major incidents all occurred in the first 4 months, after which incidents major ceased and minor incidents dropped drastically.

  10. The GAD's military portion has been constituted, with the Swissilian delegation simply not arriving. The offer to Swissilia has been retracted.
The GAD entry and introduction statement is being drafted.
The Empire is still pouring money into missiles... way to go, guys.
  11. Well, now you have a conversation room! Problem solved!
  12. Oh shoot I just realized I forgot hawaii in my map.. *shhhh* just add it once another piece of land is taken over...
  13. TUN signs the Equal Pay Act. This act makes it illegal for men or women to be payed differently for similar work in the same job.

TUN signs the Colonized Countries Act. With this in place, all colonized countries under the Representative Democracy of The United North will be under this bill.
    • All countries colonized by TUN are given the same freedom and rights as existing states and provinces of TUN.
    • Invaded countries will keep their flags, cultures, and other representatives of their country.
    • TUN will not enact dictatorship over any colonized state.
    • Every country under TUN rule will keep their peace and religious freedom.
    • Protesting and disagreement is given the right to colonized states under the Human Rights Act. Violence, vandalism, and death threats to the government or president will NOT be tolerated.
    • Countries may keep their military and militia, although they must either merge with the United North Armed Forces or maintain a peace and alliance with the UNAF.
    • Resistance and anarchist groups rebelling against TUN are illegal.
    • Military insignia's will keep their countries military insignia, although it will act like a state flag, and they must use TUN insignia's, although they are still somewhat 'separate', yet still a United North military force.
    • Invaded countries may keep their state governors and municipal governments, although the Federal government will be TUN Parliament.
  14. The Colonized Countries act is enacted to Vermont.

TUN's military has set up military bases around Vermont and have established a power hold over Vermont. Resistance groups are being uncovered quickly and dealt with in court. Some citizens are still angry about the invasion, but knowing they keep their flag, culture, rights, and government, they calm down.

Military strength at Vermont borders has decreased, and plans to abolish borders between New York and Canada are being started. Although, Vermont citizens are required to obtain citizenship of TUN in order to cross the border. They have 90 days to apply, before they are fined.
  15. Trelet establishes an act called the Freedom Act of 1951. It has rights similar to the former USA's Constitution.

    1. All forms of press, protest & assembly are allowed, as long as no vandalism, harm, crimes or similar things occur.
    2. Firearms may be bought and held as long as these weapons are not intended to harm any person, unless if the other person intends to harm you.
    3. Residents cannot be investigated by any agency, public or private, unless if suspected of a crime.
    4. Slavery is not allowed. You must pay someone for providing a good or service, unless if they do it voluntarily.
    5. No person shall be discriminated by race, gender, weight, or any other physical or mental disability.
    6. A 20% tax will be collected on liquor, tobacco and nicotine.

  16. The B-52 Stratofortress has been produced and finished. This beast is huge and is able to hold 185,000 lbs of weight. This aircraft is going to hold a lot of bombs, and even the first Hydrogen bombs built by TUN. The B-52 is expected to stay in service for a LONG time...
  17. The Empire's spy network is hard at work spying on the TUN. Hydrogen bombs concern the Empire greatly.
The B-52 Stratofortress is a massive beast, with likely just as massive fighter escorts. The Empire is so impressed that the Empire is creating a bomber based off this, the In-1 Superheavy Bomber. The In-1 Bomber is not a clone, but rather with mild changes to reflect the doctrines of the Empire. It is still very similiar, but still very much distinguishable in-air from the B-52. It is, for one modified to stand both high-and low altitude flying, and has no armament to reflect the longer range of the E-1.
And about the whole hydrogen bomb thing?
The Empire has developed one in secret a bit ago, but it's... essentially useless. It's too big to fit on a missile or even on a warplane. The Empire has an insistence on missile nukes to be "omnipresent."
The endless funds has led the Empire to produce another missile! Seriously, when are they going to realise they're kilometers ahead of anybody else? That other sectors don't have the tech to match up? This is... troubling to say the least.
  18. Due to all that money spent for ICBMs, it's no surprise the Empire has turned its attention to space. Using all that sweet missile tech, they might be able to catch up.
The Imperial Space Program has been established. While funding is at best minimal, they, the sons of the missile divison, have made leaps and strides with the assistance of the division.
The Empire desires complete domination of the new frontier. To space.
  19. The UKNS has announced that the Ministry of Space will have a satellite launching run lasting from 1955 to at least 1959. The first of these shall be the Viking I, a small metal sphere which will broadcast a radio signal until its batteries die. The second shall be the Viking II, which will send a dog into space - the dog is not planned to survive, but the time it lives in space will be timed. The launch of the Viking I will be repeated several times, until the Ministry of Space is able to turn it into a lunar orbiter called the Máni I, likely around 1957. The design will be perfected until it can reach the moon and land on the lunar surface.

  20. UFOS would like to propose a trade deal with trelet

since we live in such a poor area we are in great need of medicine would you be willing to trade chemicals for medicine?

also we are conducting a complete search of all military outposts and bases to see how much work actually needs to be done to get the UFOS military up to par
