  1. In addition, the Empire has armed its ICBMs in response.
    It won't work.
The Empire is bluffing, however advanced its ICBMs are.
    But TUN doesn't know that.
    The Empire's gambling on that.
The three larger aircraft carriers have undergone upgrade and power.
Two more have been commissioned, as well as a new Supercarrier model, which is all very vague and there are no real plans.
  2. this seems but but...What would the UFOS get from this alliance?
  3. Buddies with the current Nuclear Superpower.
    Buddies with the industrial supergiant.
Buddies with the one nation which can see the messages of god. (That's us, Belac555 and Warlord678!)
Buddies with the one nation that will stand up for you to the end.
  4. hmmmm UFOS will have to think on this matter greatly(if you will allow us time to debate this) as you are across the world from us do we want to risk angering the world power closer to us but gain a great victory advancement wise or anger one of the world powers across the world but lose a great advancement opportunity we will debate with the goverment for this and will get back to you in 2 posts

    so post 286
  5. Mexico can be your little buffer zone.
The Empire is negotiating a little alliance just to do that. If they want you, they will have to rip apart Mexico with your, as well as Imperial support.
  6. the UFOS has sent it in for a vote and we have voted to negoitiate your trade agreement now what military support are you willing to give us for the copper?
  7. ICBM's weren't invented yet, it's still 1952...
  8. Yeah, I didn't really research it, didn't know they were invented until later, so therefore you have plans for nothing :p

  10. The Federation is starting a project to provide housing for the poor and help the sick get medication

This is called the Free Healthcare Act

We are also working to establish a type of paper that includes all citizens rights(kinda like the bill of rights)
  11. the Federation does not want war with anybody it is trying to keep peace between all of the countries which is why the Federation is willing to start hosting a annual meeting of all of the leaders of the world power(so us 5)in a neutral location that is if the leaders or the world powers are willing to come?
  12. just doing this to get everyones attentions please read the post above this and respond if you would

  13. TUN accepts. We suggest this be help in Paris, France.
  14. i actually already have a place set for it a the Federation is currently funding a complex being built on the island of Madagascar so it will be comepletely unbiased toward any of the nations and it will also have the highest security it can have
  15. Swissilian influencials weren't too interested in the UFS' idea Assuming this knowledge is public until it got known that Swissilia is being left out. Now, indeed, the meeting seems a lot more interesting.
  16. TUN doesn't understand why this meeting would happen in Madagascar. Sounds too suspicious... TUN doesn't know if we'll be at the meetin
  17. The UKNS capital, the city of London, has been covered in a great smog thanks to a cold winter, an anticyclone, windless conditions and a collection of airborne pollutants. While London has suffered from horrendous air pollution since the 1200s, this is the most catastrophic event by far - 4,000 people are believed to die in the following weeks and 100,000 more are ill. Officials believe that heavy use of coal throughout the winter is a main cause.

In response, officials from the devolved governments of England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, as well as an invited party of German politicians, have convened in London to enact policy change. Agreed at the conference are the following measures:
    • Smoke control areas will be set up in large cities, where only smokeless fuels are allowed to be burned.
    • Minimum chimney heights will be raised.
    • There will be an intense effort to shift the sources of heat in people's homes from coal and fuel to electricity.
    • Power stations will be moved away from cities.
    • A nuclear power station will be opened near the city of Rochdale, England to supply the city with electricity, rather than burning fuel. If all goes well, more power plants will be constructed across Great Britain, Scandinavia, and Ireland. It shall open in 1956.
    • Wind power shall be heavily invested in, and optimistically the UKNS government hopes for 20% of its power to be generated by wind power by 2000.
    • The Ministry of Transport shall also begin nationwide reconstruction of the railways into third rail, which will be electrified. Coal trains will also be phased out entirely and the switch shall be made to diesel.
    • Opportunities to develop areas relying on the coal mining industry shall be invested in heavily, with the government hoping to entirely close down the UKNS coal industry by 1980.
The coal miners have begun to stage strikes, hitting the UKNS economy hard. The government won't budge from the agreed position, however, and the miners are getting violent.

The UKNS Prime Minister has declined to join the annual summit.

  18. I just refer to it as ICBMs, it’s not really one.
And yes, the Empire is bluffing.
  19. the meeting is at a comepletly neutral location so as to not show ANY favorotism to any nations
  20. Well the rules are "technologies can only be researched 2 years before the real version"
