  1. Well then, are we wrapping things up?
Unless alt comes in and does something...
  2. Lets wait for alt, if he doesnt come back in 5 days.. It's a wrap boys...
  3. hi

I don't reeaaallly see any reason to end this. We should just carry on as normal. Trelet's and Swissilia's land can be taken if they fit within your colony limit.

Speaking of... The UKNS swiftly moves into Switzerland and Italy to 'restore order'. This will take 3 posts.

  4. TUN sends in troops through to Trelet to retain order. The people are in chaos over the fall of the government, the economy is falling, people are protesting, and laws are being broken. This will take a long time to rebuild. TUN will arrive and use all their methods to retain order and law. This will take 4 posts.

The Highway going through TUN will have to be shutdown for the time being.
  5. since the UFOS isn't anywhere near these countries we are just watching as our treaty with the rest of south america we feel safe for the time being we are now devoting more and more money to our naval program
  6. The nation's former leader is back. The government fell because people thought the leader died, but it was just a publicity stunt. We kindly ask TUN soldiers to leave Trelet. Many people are astonished, but are glad the leader is back. We're thinking about changing the name of Trelet.

  8. The United navy of the federation has now been finished(for the time being)we are now putting research into a new supercarrier ship
  9. TUN is working on their second nuclear power plant. The first was successful in what it did, although new research and engineering has been done. A new point of power is going to be made.

TUN agrees that the best place for Nuclear Energy would be in Toronto. Many citizens are skeptical, as they believe that the plant would be able to detonate at any given time; they were reassured that this is not the case (although the government knows very well that this can easily happen).

Building in Toronto will finish in 11 posts. The Nuclear Power project is very successful so far, and it is supplying energy to thousands of homes...
  10. After some debates, the Trelet government has decided upon a new name: Javor. It translates to Maple from various European languages.
  11. thats cool and welcome back
  12. The Empire openly sends a diplomatic envoy to the UKNS. We wanna be friends, dammit!
If this doesn't work, the Empire is sending spam with "BE OUR FRIEND!" written all over it.
To the United Nations of the North Sea:
The Empire is concerned about the behavior of a particular nation. They run on dunkin. Javor. Javor is a calculating, dangerous nation. I have little doubt they will break their promise, one way or another, and even if they did not, beyond fifteen years there is no guarentee of pacifism. You were right to attempt to restrain Javor. In the event they attempted to expand their ambition, I have no doubt they could resurrect the USA and attempt to destroy us. We have been enemies, but the Empire does not want further conquest. That is imperialist, and the Empire is not imperialist, despite our name. Quite ironic. India was a nessecity, Australia we took a few small islands. Our tensions have only resulted in the TUN becoming a superpower. They are stronger than we thought. While we bickered, the world grew up around us. The world is going to go without us, and that is a terrifying thing. We have focused on petty matters, when the big picture was all around us. We have failed our nations out of pettiness. So, what do we do? Let us thaw our relations. Animosity between our populations are high, so let us execute deals in shadow. If we do not, we fail our people. We must stop our bickering and realise the world has grown up around us. The one thing we seem to be able to agree on is Javor being aggresive, so let us start from that. Please, for our sake. Let us stop this foolishness and act in haste to catch up. So, first point of discussion; what do we do to stop Javor's expansionism and aggresion? Please. Share your thoughts, lest we all be doomed. And please don't share this with the TUN, or Javor. They're all buddy buddy these days, and if this gets into the hands of one, it gets into the hands of the other. Could you do that for me?

  13. TUN gives a sincere gift of 50 M48 Pattons to Javor.

We also supply Javor with 5 new destroyers, 3 frigates, and 3 battleships.

As well as that, we lift Javor up with wings likes eagles. We give 10 brand new F-100 Super Sabres and 25 new F-104 fighter bombers.

Another note... we want to train with your military forces. Will you except? Both of us are highly capable at being huge powers in our world, if we just work together.
  14. The E-2-AC:
A third variant, this model is a plane designed for aircraft carriers. Made to rip apart other aircraft, this craft is fast, manueverable and decently armored. It has guns that are just as maneuverable as the plane itself. Its fuel tanks are fairly small, but when you have an aircraft carrier that is less of an issue. This plane has a small bomb complement, because it is designed to work in conjuction with the E-2-FB. This plane rips apart preliminary defenses, while the E-2-FB goes in for the kill. It is also quite fuel efficient, but not enough to make it a long-range plane.
The Empire is researching air-to surface missiles. Hopefully, they will be able to take down TUN planes, or any actually. Anti-Submarine warfare weaponry is also being researched, as well as Nuclear-Capable submarines.
  15. TUN retires the M4 Sherman. All variants will be fully depleted from the military and will be sent to museums, exhibits, and possibly sold to other nations. The M26 Pershing is also getting very close to being scrapped entirely. They are too slow... Sure, they have great armour and a gun, but they still have M4 Sherman engines, something that isn't reliable for a huge tank. TUN plans to retire the M26 soon as well. The M46, M47, and M48 will stay in service for a while yet.
  16. It seems everything TUN does The Empire somehow finds a way to 1 up them... They may have better planes, but we have better pilots...
  17. (Out of game: The Empire can see your messages, you know. But they only can read some. Not all, and they sometimes read messages that don't even exist. (which is codeword for: out of this forum game, and out into the greater Forum games section. They can only go so far with the vision. Only one person in in-game world history had the power to read the entire EMC web, and she died as a child due to witch hunts.)
The theocracy saw your message. They are recommending fighter training, as the E-2 is much harder (but still pretty easy) to pilot than the E-1. Congress isn't listening, and the theocracy is using their vision to do it themselves. This hinders them significantly, as without the support of congress they are pretty weak.
The theocracy sees the democracy as obstructionist fools.
The democracy sees theocracy as crazy cult kooks that are right sometimes.

  19. The Empire is creating a new tank model, their old one is only pretty good now. It’s a good model, with plenty of advantages, but it’s simply too outdated. The Empire desires the BEST, not pretty good.
The Empire is putting Nuclear plants in the Siberian wasteland. That ought to keep citizens safe! And execute anyone that tries to mismanage nuclear plants! Without trial! That ought to keep personnel in line, not like it’ll make human rights groups angry!
  20. The Empire is researching ERA armor.
Blueprints for the new model of tank is complete, with this tank having undergone stringent inspection. The Empire wants to make a show of this thing.
This model is a main battle tank that is fairly large, and harder to repair and build compared to previous models, with more frequent mechanical breakdowns. This, being the Empire's standards here is still fairly robust. However, its tradeoff is for sheer performance. Greatest battle tank of its time? HA! The Empire has plans to exceed that. Of course, this is expensive as heck, for good reason. Quality, over quantity.
