  1. TUN has seen The Empire's New Super Carriers and are not scared at all.
  2. Pff...
    Pfft....
    Are they really that stupid?
    This supercarrier is a juggernaut!
The Empire built it for that purpose, it’s a 6 year time investment and it has single handedly slowed down Imperial ship production by a year!
    Oh well.
They’ll be surprised at what this monstrosity is capable of, especially in conjuction with a nice team of missile destroyers smashing everything that could remotely be a threat while aircraft raze mighty battleships to the ground. Or aircraft carriers, that’s good too.
It’s designed to kill aircraft carriers, what did TUN expect?
That the mighty superweapon the Empire built would not accomodate its main rival?
Oh, and we’re builiding 2, with another on the way as soon as the Empire can build the Battleships.
  3. The Empire’s premise is based off cultural preservation.
The Asian culture should be preserved.
However, laws have been instated forbidding excessive cruelty to Pigs and Dogs.
The Empire has no idea where TUN said Asians eat cats.
TUN approval within the Korean region has plummeted.
TUN approval Empire-wide has decreased as TUN is viewed as ignorant western fools.
  4. Actions speak louder than words, come at us..
  5. The Empire does not have any desire to spark thermonuclear war and armageddon. That is M.A.D.ness.
    Only to be the greatest.
    Speaking of which...
Let’s modernize and liberalize the economy a bit, shall we?
No more complicated law codes restricting, simple, easy law codes that do the same thing while improving efficiency!
  6. The UKNS has begun production of their own supercarrier to add to their fleet of seven aircraft carriers, almost 200 destroyers, fifteen battleships and battlecruisers, and 66 submarines. There will just be one, for now, and it will take six years to make. They have also begun researching nuclear-armed vanguard submarines, which will patrol the seas around the UKNS - the programme will be called Poseidon. It should come into effect in 1978. The Prime Minister affirms that he is dedicated to the revival of the Naval Defence Act 1889, in which the United Kingdom pledged that their navy would be the same size as the two next largest navies combined; the feasibility of this, however, is a lingering question.
  7. TUN has come up with the first operational nuclear submarine. The USS Nautilus SSN-571.

Capable of 13,400 HP and 23 kn, it weighs at over 4,000 tons. It has an armament of 6 Torpedoes.

(I was going to plan this, but IRL we are 3 years past the initial launch, so I'll just come up with it.)

It is also capable of traveling the north pole.
  8. TUN has one of the strongest naval fleets in the world, with over 400 ships at their disposal.

We have the ability to carry ballistic missiles which can easily reach Empire Supercarriers at long distances. TUN has dozens of submarines lurking in the sea, and can easily destroy any ship from underneath. Just like a giant squid...

TUN does have a super carrier aswell, they have the CV-62. Capable of 34 knots and able to hold 70-90 aircraft, this absolute beast has been an on-going secret project which costs millions. The USS Independence CV-62 will be finished in 10 posts and will enter the navy in 13.

The CV-62 is the fourth and final ship of the Forrestal Class.
  9. The UFOS has been watching closely and have realized(a little late but..)that they are as of right now hopelessly outmatched on the sea so they have reduced funding to the space program as they have yet to make any progress and the UFOS is now building a all new navy comprised of mostly cruisers and destroyers but a couple of aircraft carriers as well there will be 20 cruiser 15 destroyers and 3 aircraft carriers this will take 2 years to comeplete once their new navy is finished the UFOS navy is planning to start looking into both nuclear tech and a supercarrier as they WILL NOT be seen as the weak country so they are dovoting most of their money that they can spare and they have over 10,000 workers on these ships the ships are being produced at many different ports and when finished will unite to form the United Navy Of The Federation
  10. The Soviets left the Empire a few designs for Submarines. Might as well as build on that.
Did I forget to mention that Imperial destroyers carry many depth charges? They are well aware of TUN’s capabilities of Submarine Strike.
  11. However, the Imperial Supercarrier is slightly outmatched in sheer capacity.
This... might be a problem, but Imperial destroyers carry Tactical Ballistic Missiles.
The E-2-FB, however will be more than capable of ripping apart any sort of aircraft defense.
    Utterly demolishing Interceptors and Fighter-Bombers.
  12. The UFOS's goverment is getting concerned with the Empires build-up of Nuclear weapons and Supercarriers they have started setting in motion a chain of events that may help them progress toward matching the Empire at Nukes
or it could backfire and set Nuke research back 20 years
  13. Dude, we’re allies.
Here are some of our nukes.
Would you like to buy them?
(Is actually outdated but still works)
The Empire continues to build up Nuclear Warheads. ICBM capability + warheads = complete safeguard.
A third variant of the E-2 is being devised.
  14. what would be the price to buy 20 icbm'sthis would just assure the UFOS's goverment that they have some way of retaliation if someone were to attack them
  15. The Empire sells no one ICBMs.
    Only warheads.
  16. alright how much for 20 warheads?
  17. We'll have to see.
  18. TUN disagrees with The Empire giving UFOS nuclear weaponry. They tried to attack the Marshall islands and take it from us, why would you trust them with nuclear might? Who knows what will happen...
  19. as the UFOS released in a earlier report they ONLY planned on attacking you for the oil to help the plague and didn't we come to terms and nothing happened? So why shouldn't the Empire help us?
  20. (The gist of a secret communication between TUN and HMKX:
Don’t worry, we think they’re a loose cannon too. We aren’t selling them anything more, and we’re only in an alliance for the Copper.)
    Here's the Entire communication, decoded.
    To The United North;
Imperial generals as well as congressmen are concerned with UFOS's action as you are. They act in strange ways and accuse others of things that did not happen. They tried to attack the Marshall islands signalled a warlike approach to actions, especially when it could have been peacefully negotiated. This was concerning enough to provoke the Empire into action against UFOS aggresion and ally with you, and by consequence our bitterest enemy, the UKNS. This should signal to you just how worrying this was to us. They are a loose cannon, no doubt. However, the Empire required copper. UFOS promised us fair treatment of Australia, and we would have taken peaceful alternatives had we not doubted their loyalty to anything beyond a virtual alliance. The Empire was running short, and UFOS had what we needed. We are sorry, but this was what needed to be done, for the Empire. Rest assured, we will only sell them outdated warheads at exhorbitant prices, and little more. We will not trust a loose cannon with our power. We do not want them to turn on us, or the world. We, can I mean your nation and mine, cannot afford it. The world cannot afford it.
    -The HMKX Empire
The Empire is investing in economic growth. When the economy grows, the Empire's capabilites will too. Start-ups and small buisness growth is encouraged, while large buisness is curbed. Monopolies are not good for growth.
The Empire is investing in better (anti-submarine mainly but some anti-ship) torpedoes, improvements to SONAR, and most importantly better submarines, as well as some investment in MAD. (Magnetic Anomaly Detector).
The Empire has also set a few matheticians on encoding, as well as researching computers.
