  1. We have one question for Trelet... Have you ever once planned on invading TUN?
  2. The Empire, inspired by this has also started their own training program.
The Empire, being so large has many climates, which mean they can do most things in their own land.
  3. The Empire does not know what HKMS is.
  4. No.
You know what we mean... You say UNKS instead of UKNS all the time..
  5. If so, no.
Trelet frightens the Empire by a great deal.
And 15 years is far too short.
  6. The Empire does not favor your Imperialism.
  7. Even if the Empire doesn't accept, we won't be invading any countries for the next 15 years. We tell the military that after the invasion of Bangkok, only keep people who REALLY, REALLY want to be in the military. We predict the military will dwindle down from 8 million (draft) to 50,000 (post-Bangkok).
Because the year is up, we're letting off anyone who doesn't want a pay raise in the military. 7 million people who never wanted to be in the military in the first place leave, putting our number at 1 million for the invasion of Bangkok.
Anyway, we've got all of Thailand except Bangkok so we are going to start now. This'll take about 6 posts.

  8. The Empire is testing nukes on ICBMs. Hopefully nothing goes wrong.
The R-1 will be used as the testing missile, and will be a display of power. The flight scheduled will be 3,500 kilometers long to downplay its true capability. Of course, the R-1 is capable of far more. Far more.
This is a new age of warfare.
    War from a distance.
    Killing from a distance.
War with the push of a button.
No longer will troops die, only civilians.
This is new, and the Empire is its pioneer.
The missile division has produced the R-2 blueprints, time to build the thing.
The arsenal has expanded to 1,000 tactical warheads, designed to attack cities from afar.
The arsenal count is top secret of course.
The test takes place in 1 post, and the Empire has checked too many times to count on all factors.
Can't have the nuke kill the Empire's own.
Nuke, Missile, Launch Pad, all checked at least 27 times (probably more), and at least another 39 more (probably more) before the test.
Missile tested with projectile of identical weight and weight distribution repeatedly.
Nuclear warhead verified to withstand stress 4 times greater than that will be actually subjected in the missile, within test conditions.
If things go wrong, the Empire will come clean.
  9. 3,500 km is quite long for a 270 km operable weapon aint it..
  10. The Empire version of the R-1, mind you.
    Derivative of R-7.
The Imperial R-1 is the R-7 with a whole lot of improvements stacked on top, though it maintained several of its key weaknesses, such as an overlarge launch pad and inaccuracy. The Empire is well aware of this, and will not be deploying this anytime soon.
    Anytime soon, that is.
The Empire is still very much in the lead, and the Empire plans to make improvements. Lots of improvements.
The Empire is still limited to SRBMs and MRBMs, with some IRBMs in house. The IRBMs include some LRBMs, which are between ICBMs and IRBMs, a subcategory. Of course, the Empire is producing a lot of all of them.
The ICBMs are not yet ready, but this is a large step forward to a new age of warfare.
  11. TUN has begun their own ICBM projects, and the military has come up with the SM-65 Atlas. It has a range of 14,000 KM and can carry a 1.5mt nuclear warhead. It will reach its first flight in 2 posts, and will enter service in 8 posts.

TUN has also developed the Titan 1. A much larger ICBM. It will share its first flight with the Atlas on 2 posts, but will enter service in 10 posts.
  12. These scientists really outdid themselves in this one. The R-2 is still not fully weapons capable, but damn!
The R-1 was made when the division lacked money, huh.
The R-2 is the last of the R line of missiles, and the stepping stone to weaponization.
The Empire is pleased to see that the missiles are far easier and faster to prepare than before.
About time to test it, again.
    No warhead.
  13. The UFOS's economy is steadily on the rise and the goverment has now passed the equal housing act which is going to build 30,000 homes for people without them this will start in 2 posts and take 2 years
  14. The UKNS has begun the negotiations of the European Commonwealth Enlargement Treaty. Since being founded in 1946 with the aims of allowing the free movement of European peoples and goods around the continent, alongside a coal and steel resource pooling agreement, the organisation has helped the continent but has never received any formal members besides those voicing their interest in entering. These interested nations will become a part of the Commonwealth, essentially an alliance and European sphere of influence for the UKNS, as part of this treaty. The initial member nations will include:
    • Portugal, whom the English have a centuries-long history of strong and stable alliance with. They were eager to join the Commonwealth.
    • The Yugoslav states (Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Slovenia), who also have close ties with the British. The accession of a communist state has stirred trouble in the top ranks of the Commonwealth, however, although they have agreed to liberalise their economy and the UKNS has implemented a series of measures that will force them to democratise once Tito loses power, or dies.
    • Greece, who also have close ties with the British - in fact, Greece exists because of the British, who supported them in the Greek War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire in the 1820s. A British Prince was voted to be the Greek King in 1862. The Greeks were 'saved' from Napoleon by the British during the Napoleonic Wars and they were both allies in the Great War and World War II. The United Kingdom of the North Sea has recently defended them from possible invasion by the North American nation of Trelet, emphasising the need for Greece's protection.
    • Estonia, who have run into the same issues with Commonwealth leadership as Yugoslavia. The UKNS hopes they are willing to democratise with time, and in the meantime have negotiated the liberalisation of their economy.
Membership is also being considered for:

    • Spain. However, as long as a fascist dictator remains in power, they will have nothing to do with the European Commonwealth. The UKNS hopes that with a Commonwealth embargo, the people will rise up and overthrow Franco.
    • The Netherlands.
    • Belgium.
    • Turkey, however Yugoslavia and Greece object to their membership, so they aren't a realistic option.
To bolster the organisation, the following things will be implemented:

    • The European Parliament. MEPs will be elected through proportional representation, and the parliament will temporarily be based in Copenhagen - there are plans to move it to Brussels in Belgium, however.
    • The Commonwealth President will be voted on by the Parliament. Each member nation will put forth a representative in an election that takes place every five years. The President merely represents the Commonwealth's interests abroad and has no domestic power.
    • The European Council, an elected body by the people of the Commonwealth, manage domestic affairs. For each member nation, there is one council member. They can dissolve parliament and call elections. Parliament, likewise, can vote a council member out.
    • The European Human Rights Oversight, which will monitor human development, human rights, and more in prospective member nations and actual member nations.
Due to the sheer scale of this agreement, it will take three pages to come into effect.
  15. the UFOS is now putting more of their money into the new space program we have named it the Federation Space Program or FPS

FPS is now recieving more funding to start devoloping a sattilite to help predict storms and such first prototype will come in 3 posts
  16. UFOS Damage Report:

On the night of July the 4th at 8:31 PM our Earthquake Detection Center picked up major reading of the coast of Chile they then warned the citizens of Chile that a Tsunami may be approaching most of the citizens then fled to safety but sadly some chose to ignore this warning and at 11:42 PM that night a 150 foot tall Tsunami hit the southern coast of Chile killing 500 people and injuring 700 the Tsunami destroyed over 300k dollars worth of homes and supplies needed my the citizens the UFOS's Relief Corps has been sent to Chile to help in the cleanup and repair of houses from the Tsunami and the repairs are going swiftly the damage should be reapaired by post 500.
  17. The GAD, against the will of the Empire has voted to have closer relations to the UKNS. 2 GAD members are currently being considered for the ECET.
Franco has been seized by an Imperial-French-Turkish task force. He will stand trial. Spain is understandably angered, but the GAD has voted to simply shut Spain up.
The BH-1, a ICBM model has been developed in top secret.
All these new missiles pouring out? The Empire's got plenty more.
It's the culmination of 6 years of support from the Empire, a 6-year plan to stand at the top of warfare. 6 years of overfunding, 6 years of support has come to this missile plan barrage.
    BH-1:
    Effective Range: 6,000km
True Range (accuracy drops rapidly beyond 6,000km and makes the missile essentialy useless): 10,000km
Deadly accurate, this missile can be used against even smaller targets to great effect. Its main weakness is its requirement for a launch pad, and its inability to be used rapidly. Despite this, it is still a powerful weapon and will be deployed in 5 posts.
    IN-1:
Effective Range: 4,000 km (assuming full payload)
True Range: 6,000 km (with no payload, accuracy drops rapidly beyond 4,000km)
While not entirely accurate, this IRBM is still fairly easy to produce. It is currently the most numerous IRBM in the Imperial arsenal, the Empire possessing over 100 units. It still prepares fairly slowly, and requires a smaller, but still existent launch pad.
    ALPHA-1:
Effective Range: 2,400 km (assuming full payload)
True Range: 3,000 km (with no payload, accuracy drops rapidly beyond 2,700km)
The most numerous missile in the arsenal, it is quite reliable. Needing no fixed launch pad whatsoever, it is reasonably accurate and easy to produce.
This is all top secret, and hushed up.
There exists over 294 decoys for the ALPHA-1, and the number only gets larger with the IN-1 and BH-1.
The decoys look nothing alike, and some have been rigged to explode its payload on the launch pad. Those have a particular tendency to be labelled as higher level secret or the true document.
  18. The Empire is designing a battleship for export to their allies, as well as a Fensuo Carrier-Killer.
    Solidarity-Class Battleship:
    37,000 tons displacement standard load.
While this battleship is a model of Imperial design, this class takes into account the sheer effectiveness of aircraft carriers. This class of battleship is designed to operate with another type of specific export Fensuo Carrier-Killers.
This ship does not sacrifice speed for armor, especially when much of its weaponry is dedicated to taking down bombers, a prime threat to any modern battleship. It is designed to be able to quickly turn in any situation, and to withstand many types of torpedoes. Modern Surface-to Air missiles are installed within the ship itself, specifically designed to take down fast fighter-bombers.
2 12-inch guns are installed within the ship itself, but this is a compromise for one thing; Range.
The guns involved are ridiculously long-range, enough to take down an unsuspecting aircraft carrier. This is specifically to take down aircraft carriers. Special shells can be loaded into the guns for shore bombardment at a safe distance, another perk of ridiculously long-range guns.
These ships will only be exported to the most trusted nations of the Empire, namely Finland and Turkey. Guinea, while on good terms with the Empire is not bound by any pact to the Empire, and the Empire does not trust nations on good terms, only nations on the best terms.
Its secondary batteries consist of 12 5-inch guns, which are essentially US naval gun improvements. These guns are capable of taking down fighter-bombers, especially when the shells rip themselves apart. This ship's purpose is for defense and wrecking of aircraft carriers with the assistance of shore/destroyer missiles, not going out and getting itself sunk.
    30 knots maximum speed.
These are expensive to build, and these will be expensive to purchase. It will take 3 years to build one of these things.
The Empire has received orders from 2 for Turkey and 1 for Finland.
It will take 4 years to build each, because the Calamity-Class Supercarriers are still a drain on Imperial resources.
    Guardian-Class Fensuo Ship:
    3,700 tons displacement standard load
This ship is armed with surface-to air and SRBMs designed to attack aircraft carriers and destroyers. Long range is important for a blockade/defense ship, especially if the enemy has aircraft carriers. This thing is a missile platform designed to complement the Solidarity-Class battleship, to take down destroyers with missiles while it chases down the big boys, aircraft carriers.
    34 knots maximum speed.
  19. The Empire's Supercarrier is a symbol of power, a graceful looking ship that is also somehow large and intimidating. There are propaganda reports of the ship's power, which far exceeds the power of the actual ship. While the ship is powerful and exceeds all current carriers to date, it is not the invincible "Calamity" to its enemies some claim. Half its power lies in its sheer reputation, and the Empire plans to use the Supercarrier on nations which remain defiant to the Empire's claims, which will be reasonable (moral high ground).
After all, gotta build up a powerful reputation.
    That'll be half its power.
The other half is its actual power.
  20. TUN parliament has banned cruel Dog and Cat trading, where the animals are stuffed into cages in poor conditions and are sold off for money.

TUN's main motives are to stop animal cruelty. TUN also advises some Asian countries to STOP eating dogs and cats as food.
