Will Smith in the Oscars is the most terrifying villain to have ever existed in a piece of media. He's an intruder in the script Chris Rock and the academy so carefully wrote... like he's in some kinda suicide squad. Truly horrifying.
I genuinely can't avoid Will Smith no matter where I go on the internet. I love it. the memes are top tier
The Joker in The Dark Knight is the most terrifying villain to have ever existed in a piece of media. He’s an intruder in the ‘crime is bad’ philosophy established in Batman Begins. This is a man who finds the thought of crime funny. Truly horrifying.
The penguin in Wallace And Gromit is the most terrifying villain to have ever existed in a piece of media. He’s an expressionless intruder in an animation style entirely based around exaggerated expressions. Like some kind of pingu-gone-rogue. Truly horrifying.
hello folks my name is president joseph robinette biden and today im signing an executive order to give everyone a costco discount
put my dating profile’s location to america for a laugh and the first thing I saw was a 5’0 blonde girl wearing a “I love trucks” t shirt and wielding a rifle bigger than her
following the battery incident (which i blame my boss for) i wasn't messing around with health and safety stuff, boss nearly dropped a pallet on my head because he was spinning his forklift around with one dangling off the edge, had an argument, he threatened to batter me, i told him to go away and said he stinks, he walked off, apologised to the next day and next thing is i got told im no longer an employee lol
exploded a barrel of batteries at work today, almost died, 2 fire engines needed to put out the fire, sent home early, epic
Did they at least tell you to go to a hospital and that they'd cover all treatment costs? Or are you not injured?
Luckily in the UK we don't have to worry about the cost of hospital treatment. Hope you're okay Soul <3
Uninjured, if we didn’t move the barrel outside when we did and if I didn’t start moving out of the (very large) blast radius when I did it’d be a different story lol. Was funny tho I’m fine
me: *suffering from post-workout soreness so bad I can barely lift my arms above my head* my mum: “can you put the really heavy christmas tree up and get the heavy bag of crimbo decorations out the loft?? 🤠”
i went there last month and it was weird going from 10c weather to 30c in flow-rida like how it was during the summer
as I said to other friends, visually, yes, it's very good. as for telling the story? solid meh from me.
I’m not too bothered the plot didn’t advance much until the third act or so purely because it seemed mainly designed to worldbuild, just like that section of the book, rather than to get into the plot. Part Two will be a part two of the same movie, not just a sequel, IMO so I think I’ll love it even more when that comes out
I hope you're right, but I find the worldbuilding to have done very little building. Can you tell me who Thufir Hawat is (or what he does) just by looking at the movie? or that Paul was studying to become like him (in addition to weapon and BG training)? Because that's a pretty important point for Paul's story, imho.
As of 7:45 GMT, Sparky the axolotl, an animal I have raised since she was an egg almost ten years ago, has passed away.
I think my axolotl is so ill she's dying and I'm 100km away from home and my family don't know what they're doing with it at all
the left side of my head has really hurt all day and not even painkillers are working I hate this lmao
Oof. Like Migraine pain? I've only ever had minor migraines - my mother on the other hand gets migraines which puts her out of commission for days at a time. Feel better soon!
Yeah it was a migraine, pretty much left me incapacitated all weekend and stopped me from being able to eat anything meaningful since friday oof
