  1. ...
I have no words other than 'good luck'.

  2. It is. Ask a staff.
  3. Outposts can be established, as long as they are not within 3k blocks of another player's build. If you plan to establish your build (which would be... pretty pointless), then it will have to be 3k blocks away from anyone else's. I'm pretty sure it doesn't apply if you don't plan to establish it.

  4. Simple Bridge design, I think it would work for any terrain... just use stepping stones over ridges or whatever...

Also idk why you say "Glowstone or Torches", Sea lanterns are much more abundant (maybe not as much as torches...) and people have DC upon DC of them laying around.

  5. I like that design, but I feel it has one flaw, and that is that you can barely see what is around you, which, in my opinion, is one of the reasons why someone would use a bridge like this. ;)

  6. Just wanted to mention something else here, about storage this time.

If you wanted to store 6.012 billion slabs, you would need 1,739,583.333 double-chests. Imagine a chunk in Minecraft, i.e. a 16 x 16 x 256 cuboid space. Now imagine filling an entire chunk with double-chests (alternating regular/trapped in order to have them touching), like a massive Jenga tower, like this...

...but all the way from bedrock to the height limit. Well, you would need to build these in just over 53 chunks.

53 massive Jenga towers like this, just to store the slabs before even building the paths themselves.
  7. Could just remove the spruce planks lol.
  8. Also every so many locks maybe add a door or gate for players to access it?

  9. I dont really enjoy the thought of a road anywhere near my farms

  10. Is your farm near any of the following x or z values?
    • 0
    • 10,000
    • 1,o00,000
    • 5,000,000
    • 10,000,000
If not, you should have nothing to worry about.
  11. Missions impossible COUNT ME IN
  12. If you really like to build roads that's what you should do,

don't do it "for ease of travel" :)

Nobody who needs to travel easily will travel more than 1k-3k blocks over overworld roads.

Ease of travel: railway, horse path or ice boat path through the nether.

  13. I want to help. Give me a design, amount of materials, and direction... I can probably get a good amount done, I assume if there are any preexisting builds we go right over them?

  14. I mean the best reason is that it will look cool.

  15. It will not be beginning until the PRA is reset, we don't want to lose progress. :p

We will consult staff should we encounter builds, but we would probably make our way over or under them.

  16. I would start firstly from the existing outpost, then make conextion to the 1mil outpost. Do the ring and thats it

  17. At least 850k Dcs
  18. I suggest to start with first 3k going from each of the outposts in each direction,
so it will be both cool and very useful.

    I think that building
    9 servers x 20 outposts x 4 directions x 3k = 2,160,000 blocks (length)
of useful road, will earn you the title "knight of roadbuilding" with a golden medal.

  19. I'd love to help mine stone and craft slabs

  20. A couple of points to note here:

Most of us that live in the wild fulltime or most of the time don't want it to be easily accessible. If we wanted that we wouldn't live so far out in the first place.

If you are going to do this project, maybe connecting the existing spawn platforms would be ok but beyond that I say no way! I don't want people wandering any where near me.

Also, storing & transporting stone (or logs) and making slabs out on site is far more efficient. You can transport & store much more that way.

Don't forget there are 10 smps not 9 (why does no one ever count Utopia).

Lastly, since you will be starting on smp1 & working up and I live on smp9... I have nothing to worry about personally. I'll probably be dead from old age irl before you ever make it to smp9 with this plan.
