Rhy recently raised an issue that had not occurred to me before? What happens if two people find the same chest in the same turn??
I guess the person who posted their command first would get it... that doesn't seem fair, but I don't think I can let them both get it either... copying the contents might be doable, but I'd also have to release an extra written book then. Although I suppose I could do that, as an exception for an exceptional situation...

That's up to you , but that does sound fair. I purposely waited to comment this round. There can be a little advantage if you wait to see where others are going before posting your command. If it's in a real world of minecraft the first one to the chest would get the items in the chest.

Finally, that sure took a while.

The text is a reference to chickens having so little health that they usually die in one hit, whatever you are hitting them with. Although in reality (Minecraft reality) you do need a tool to kill them in one hit.
