Idea for a short story popped into my head last week while I was walking through the snow and listening to Thatorchia by Ethel Cain. Had so much fun writing it and expanded on the concept. It’s now novel scope. Making progress and proud of it so far. Might be onto something.

On medication atm that makes me very drowsy + forgetful. Playing a lot of Minecraft. Having fun. Decided to start a hardcore world. Just saw a charged creeper in my house and stared at it for a solid 2 seconds before even beginning to react. Dead. What the flip.

Job offer fell through. Lol. 😐

Died in BO6 to a guy with 2015 in his username. I think it’s time to hang up the controller.

Playing the Silent Hill 2 remake last week. Was admiring this absolute work of art that was faithful and additive to the original game. Haven't finished it tho because I got sent to hospital for a health event that started while I was playing. Game's just that good 💀🔥🔥🔥

Attended an interview for a job in the Civil Service yesterday. Got a call back off them 20 hours later. AND I GOT IT!!! Gotta be vetted by the police before I start MY CAREER (💯‼️) in December. What the heck 😭🙏🏼

I made a joke to my girlfriend about how I was gonna raise our kids on Meshuggah and Slayer. She texted me back with "You're gonna be a great dad!!! xx" I read the text as "You're gonna be a dad!! xx" Never in my life have I felt such a great amount of chest pain.

Just watched my girlfriend graduate, on the Dean's List + got Best Student award. Couldn’t have picked a better or smarter girl, so proud of her!!

Girlfriend is still incredibly ill. Doctors don’t know what it is. Spent my birthday weekend looking after her and it completely passed me by. Got made redundant on Monday. 24th year on the planet is off to a great start.

Girlfriend has been in and out of hospital over the last week. Family came to take her home from university and I had to meet her older sister, her mum, and her step-dad all at once. Absolutely sickening experience.

House got burgled while me and my girlfriend slept alone in her house. Landlord’s living room TV stolen (💀). Police interview on New Year’s Eve. Topped off by the shower door exploding while she was in the shower and me spending the whole day cleaning up the glass 💀💀💀

Playing Minecraft with the Mrs. In awe of how much stuff has been added in the half a decade since I last properly played. Saw a toad. Admired the toad. Toads are cool. Then she ran in from the corner of my screen and beat it to death with a shovel. Tears.

Nan passed away on Monday morning. Gonna miss that woman but 73 was a pretty good run I can’t complain about.

Pretty much lived at my gf's flat for the past 2 weeks. Came home today. On the train I attempted to wrap my arm around around her in the chair next to me even though she wasn't there. Made cups of tea for 2 people when I got home. Sniffing her hoodie in bed rn. Hate life.
