Empire Minecraft is still 1.8 - 1.9.4 is near!

Only about 2 weeks? Nice! With all the changes to The End in 1.9 I was worried that it would take almost as long as 1.8 did.
I can't wait to see what EMC does with it.

It's nice that we're switching, but... I don't know how to update to 1.8 and if it requires a security question, i'm done for. No more EMC for me if that happens

Even though I have mixed feelings about Minecraft 1.9 I am very happy to see that the staff are hot on the case and looking into all this. Not just that: also trying to time the update with a waste reset which could mean that we get access to all the new blocks ASAP. And that accounts for something too folks.

Still, although the update may not be as big from a technical point of view I do think that the "End issue" is a tough one. After all: the End is a special non-resetting world (all servers have 1 End: if you go to the End from either the Wastelands or Frontier you'll end up in the same place). So that is a tough issue in my opinion and I'm really anxious to see how you guys are going to pick that up!

And well, I think upgrading to 1.9 will also finally put an end to all those weird, unexplainable and pesky problems we all encounter from time to time. Because it is finally official, Mojang has announced it themselves: they have removed Herobrine from Minecraft 1.9

That should make our lives a lot easier

The notification about the waste reset has people confused, emc never said it would be updating to 1.9 on the 29th. It said we would get a day notice for the actual reset which would contain the 1.9 update. 2 different resets

Good thing the update isn't today, I can't twist my neck in either direction, eat solid food, or look at colorful images for any period of time
