I've always been behind a few thousand posts... I'm approaching 6k, and the lowest on the list has 8k... Tom and I do suspect that I would be on the "most reading members" list, though, as I don't post in 80% of the threads I read :P

I've also been reading a lot of E. M. Cioran:

I guess, maybe one day I'll get there, and feel some sort of happiness, but, for now, I've got too much traumas and anxieties to work through to, even for a moment, feel like I belong in this world.

Well, no... In QFT particles don't exist, only wave fuctions that describe the probability of the existence of a particle in a certain space. Because of this, the particle is both at one place and at the other at the same time, as only the probebility wave exists. That is, untill you observe it, which is when it shows to exist in one of the spaces based on the chance value of the wave.

The same goes for the cat, which, in this thought experiment, is both alive and dead at the exact same time, untill it is observed to be one of the two. Untill you observe it, though, the cat simply has a chance to be both, but is neither exactly.

You're a little optimistic, Jelle, but it's definitely true that I've got a lot of mail. TomvanWijnen3 used to have a slight lead on highest amount of mail, but my main account overtook him recently due to the extras given from voting on TopG. He's currently at 756, with the other three trailing not far behind.

As for voting, I just got 1600 on TomvanWijnen2 today, so I'm around 1600 on three accounts, and one is at around 1300 (it didn't exist yet when I started voting :D). :)

That 756 is the amount of mails I have. That leads to 126 pages. My oldest mails just turned 1273 days old, which is very nearly 3.5 years old. :D

You should try looking somewhere else than your intestines, maybe that will help. ;)

Ahh, I see! Your assumption seems right to me, that's also what happens for me: I don't have to worry about money yet and don't need to get a loan because my parents care for everything. And, as I'm still living at home, the only extra money spent for my studies is a couple of books per year and the yearly fee, so it's not that much more anyways. :)

So much for that age range. If you started receiving before 2018, it stops when you're 21. So that's in a few months. :/

1) No, that is not what Solipsism is. Look it up again.
2) “Vengelance instead of turning the other cheek” is exactly what the LaVey activists are doing: Christians do something wrong, and they push back just as hard in response.

I have now written 1300 words in defence of a status.
All three responses, by the way, are written as one small continues essay, of which I post one (or maybe two) paragraphs per comment.

1. I said "practical solipsism". Engaging in public spectacle and finding a response extraordinary would involves a particularly self-centered state of mind.
2. I haven't mentioned Christianity and it is irrelevant with respect to my line of query. I would presume if you lived in a predominantly Muslim nation for example your viewpoint would he the same.
