Well... you'll have do it again, and when I say that I mean you broke it... again. If you type /v <insert most letters(except "q")> and press "tab" it tells you "you can only be on one emc server at a time" then kicks you. So good luck on fixing that bug
That would imply we've broken it in this way before... which we haven't. Well check into that, but that sounds very weird.
Huh. I can't seem to replicate that bug. Can you maybe give a little more detailed and specific example, as I think it's quite interesting.
Just tried, doesn't work for me either. In some other occasions tab also didn't work, but it also did work sometimes (just these last few minutes)... Odd.
Well, it seems that Dispensers with flint and steel activating portals no longer works after the update, was this intentional or is it a bug?
It did it for both crazyminerpete and me. I found it by visiting trying to visit a res so I typed /v t, then pressed tab to auto complete. I have only done it on 3, I can not get on to test any other smps right now
I had a feeling that Aikar broke something when he was updating in the middle of the day. My metal bones quiver at this knowing that there are more bugs to come when 1.9.1 comes out "Maybe" tomorrow.
At times like these I hate my work, because I can't play right now . But this this is an impressive update! I especially like how commands like /res pset have been enhanced -while remaining backwards compatible- (they still work normally).
I don't know if there's any correlation between the update and my problem. But this error wasn't happening yesterday for me. Every time i try to change personal settings to day i receive this response.
Awesome! Thanks for the updates, Aikar! I can finally delete the permission groups I made before that consisted of single-character names. UPDATE: It seems that using the gdel command does not delete the groups that were automatically renamed. I had two groups: "1" and "2." They were renamed to "10" and "20," but I can't delete them. Nothing happens when I type in /res gdel 20. UPDATE: Renaming the groups worked. UPDATE: The renamed groups can't be deleted, no matter what their names are.
There is a bug where when you try and change your head drop settings by clicking on the commands, it says there is an internal error.
Do you feel the need to explain that to the empire? Do you think EMC isn't smart? That is very audacious of you (For the EMC members, audacious means showing lack of respect). I kid. And I really like the /res pset update in particular.
It's working, I just removed test for you. You were using wrong command. It is a little confusing I agree. grem/gdel removes a user from a group gremove removes a group however it seems grem/gdel are not giving feedback when players supplied is empty. I'll add some more feedback there and say "Did you mean to remove this group? Type gremove instead"
I'd like to say that, and 99% of the Empire will agree, that you're doing an amazing job with EMC and the updates are just getting better and better. And I'm sure the rest of EMC can wait a few more centuries uh... I meant months for dragon tombs, empires and land claiming. Keep doing the amazing job you are doing. We couldn't have a better server owner
