It will probably make it back, this was just a warning to FRNS. Volvograd is retreating back to UFOS Air Cover in 2 posts, for a few days it'll hunt destroyers. It is completely undamaged, while its escort suffered only minor damage. In addition to this, HMKX has sent a Cruiser Task Force in order to dislodge FRNS from the Falklands. HMKX will provide artillery and logistical support to UFOS, but they are not putting their boots on the ground. The New Abyssinian Empire has collapsed into its constituent states after they overstretched themselves. Africa is in ruins. Guinea is in no condition to help HMKX. After years of being in total secrecy, it is done. Military factories all over UFOS are being tampered with, and some destroyed. A new group has come out of the ashes, a mysterious one indeed. They go by the name of Assassino do Estado (or ADE). Their organization has lasted for many years in the dark, leeching off corrupt politicians and reeling in big money. Now, they cause destruction in the United Federation of States. Their system is almost like the mafia, and just as big in fact. For the past couple of years, they have been causing catastrophic crimes throughout South America, under the nose of the government. They have been involved in assassinations of many UFOS politicians and celebrities, a way to corrupt the government and the people. They also are the cause of many large scale building fires, specifically large corporations, and they hide it, making it look like an accident. It is very effective. Now though, they have taken the big step forward in their acts of burning down factories. Just within two months, two very key UFOS military factories, used to produce thousands of vehicles and precious equipment were burned down. Both factories were across the country though and were deemed to be accidents by the government. The ADE hides very well, looking like some sort of banking agency to the people, but they really are just crooks by night. They will cripple UFOS within a decade, unless UFOS finds out, which isn't very likely. Even if they were discovered, they cannot be stopped, they aren't a bunch of guys in military attire and guns, they are hitmen, lawyers, businessmen, politicians, and even car manufacturer CEOs. {HIGH LEVEL CLASSIFIED} The UNAFR is very much in support of ADE, and have been supplying them with money, weapons, ammo and equipment, just as ADE supplies them with key UFOS intel and the destruction of key UFOS workstations. The ADE is supplied with AK-47s, directly from the UNAFR and private dealers. During the HMKX's massive sale of weaponry, which caused them to land in terrorist hands, the UNAFR was one of the shady dealers, and they shipped them to the ADE, making it look like the ADE bought the guns directly from HMKX, blaming it on them. (This information is incredibly secretive though, and it would be impossible for anyone to receive this information, as all evidence of it happening has been destroyed. TUN also pushed its spy network and National Survelience to the top. The FBI and CIA, as well as NPAT Secret Service Men, have the biggest spy network on the planet, excelling in uncovering classified information, and protecting their own, meaning that UFOS cannot find this information, unless they kill every SS man, and dig up the ashes of the disposed of papers.)
HMKX, in a much-needed blessing seems to have finally gotten lady luck's favor. HMKX has found out about the organization, through luck, and only good luck. HMKX informs UFOS about this organization. HMKX has not yet found out about UNAFR's aid, but has figured out someone has been pinning the AK-47 sales on HMKX. HMKX moles have also reported suspicious activity in UNAFR intelligence centers. HMKX (secretly) informs UFOS that in such deep-seated corruption in such a time, extreme measures need to be taken. HMKX (secretly) offers to extensively aid OPERATION SCANTRON, an operation that will violently root out this organization. It will be extremely brutal. It will be violent. It will be painful. But it will be very effective.
All evidence leading to UNAFR supplying the guns is destroyed. There were multiple layers upon layers of different transactions making it impossible to figure out. Instead, it just looks like the ADE bought the weapons. There is no longer any solid proof that the UNAFR funded the weapons, you literally can't find any.
UNAFR is continously supplying them with aid, are they not? This means information is constantly being produced. OPERATION SCANTRON DAY 1: Several hundred teams of HMKX-UFOS joint Special Forces invaded several hundred private homes, removing ADE-affiliated residents. Several Civilians attempted to resist and were gunned down. Said ADE-affiliated residents were tortured for information on further ADE members. Their family was guaranteed safety if they talked, and quite a few caved. This resulted in a chain reaction were torture and promises of safety led to the revealing of a good portion of the organization. After about a day of raids, most of ADE's upper levels were surveyed and 3 of the 5 top executives were revealed. DAY 2: At 12:20 AM, 2 of the 5 top executives were seized by Police Forces and Crucified. Several thousand ADE members were executed without trial. At this point in time, UFOS is in anarchy. Several higher members, such as CEOs were meant to be executed via gunshot but were burnt alive from Molotovs aimed at the HMKX Special forces but missing. 1 of the 5 executives was identified at a Airport at 3:14 AM and executed via Gunshots. The 2 remaining executives likely fled to Canada and is likely safe. A significant portion of ADE was convinced to stand down, but civilian casualties began to mount. DAY 3: ADE was crumbling, but several large branches mounted a resistance. This resulted in significant bloodshed among civilians due to the crossfire. At roughly 1:00 PM, HMKX Special Forces started using flamethrowers and armored vehicles, crushing ADE members alive or killing them via asphyxiation. Several hundred ADE members commit suicide or die fighting. ADE leaders were specifically hunted down and executed with hanging, or in the case of higher-ranked leaders, death by being burnt alive. AFTERMATH: UFOS has been rendered unable to fight effectively. ADE is completely destroyed, but bodies pile high in the streets. This day shall forever be remembered. ADE turncoats were rewarded handsomely, with families gaining benefits. It is of note Police Forces did not use rape or civilian attacks as punishment. It was later revealed that HMKX strictly banned this behavior at the pain of death by Crucifixion. It is probable HMKX did not want this to turn into a second Nanking. Never again. Result: Anarchy for Several days in UFOS, several months of UFOS being unable to properly fight, complete destruction of ADE, several thousand UFOS civilian casualties, 142 HMKX casualties and death of 38 UNAFR agents. OEO condemnation and sanctions of HMKX Empire. The OEO is disgusted by these actions and has instituted broad sanctions. HMKX has taken them in stride and refuses to apologize, stating that HMXK would do this again if needed to the defense of its ally and the removal of corrupt creatures.
The ADE has already started to bleed into the Provincial governments of UFOS. The influence isn't dire and it doesn't show, but the ADE has a foothold no doubt, and if they can control mass provinces, it could be disastrous. The ADE seems to have multiple levels, with the lowest focusing on the dirty work, such as murder, starting riots, mass vandalism, starting fires and bombings, while the higher organization works on peeling the government away. The lower ranked guys would be easier to snatch out, but the big boys are high intelligence. You can interrogate the "lows" all you want, but their information on their bosses are very limited, and all members of the ADE are forced to keep their mouths shut, or their families will all die.
Moreso money, Intel and free passage within UNAFR now, as UNAFR knows weapons trading is dangerous, thus it has slowed down, considering the ADE can fund themselves due to their massive finance.
I don't think you understand the scale and brutality of OPERATION SCANTRON. It's HMKX's usual antics with corrupt people, taken up to a hundred. People were burnt alive. This is why UFOS was plunged into anarchy for 3 days. This is why UFOS will be unable to properly fight for 6 months.

The brutality of the HMKX is incredibly dishonourable and went way too out of hand. No civilian needed to die within the process, UNAFR has once again condemned them. The UNAFR stands on the civilian side in UFOS, calling for an anti-HMKX movement, which indeed is taking place. The ADE never killed civilians intentionally, all intentional murders were done on politicians and rival businessmen. All civilian casualties were done on accident, the ADE's goal was to bring down the UFOS government, not to slaughter everyone. For this, the HMKX is truly a worse organization, they have no regard for human life. It's no wonder happiness in their nation is dwindling. UFOS needs to know what they are taking alliances with. Removing evil is just, but doing evil within the act of removing that evil is still wrong. A cry in the Empire is rising, citizens hate the brutality and torturous exercises that their government performs. They are starting to oppose the government through protests and riots. The UNAFR is feeding UFOS and HMKX citizens through propaganda, expressing the "evil" between these two powerhouses. 2 Top dogs within the ADE escaped to Canada, although 5 more arrived before the massacre, they knew what was going on, so they left. Only about a dozen other ADE members (not high ranks) are in Canada, the rest who are still alive hide in the rural jungle parts, it would be unnecessary to go after them.
UFOS knows exactly who they are allianing with we may not agree with ALL of their practices but we agree that in times evil may be neccasary to destroy a even greater evil also UFOS has urged it's citizens to not listen to anything not given out by the goverment at this moment
The Empire's goal was complete extermination of ADE. Targeting civilians was discouraged, and all Civilian deaths were due to crossfire or active resistance. In other words, they tried to fight heavily armored and armed policemen or walked into an active war zone and got killed for it. HMKX's happiness is steady, if a bit low, thank you very much. However, HMKX has removed the Slow-Acting Electric Chair, a staple of HMKX corruption punishment. All units have been converted to normal electric chairs.
