      For my student's association, I held a workshop on Turing machines for two people twice (so four people in total). It was a lot of fun to make, and the people participating enjoyed it!

      Last year I reluctantly went to my student association's Christmas dinner, thinking it wouldn't be my thing. This year I was sick, and yet I still didn't consider not going. And I had such an amazing time! :D

        Yup, I am subscribed, but never watch his videos anymore to be honest, because I was sick of him redoing things with the marble machine instead of just finishing it.
        Martin is not Dutch, by the way. He has visited the Netherlands, and the original Marble Machine has been on display in Utrecht, a city I visit several times a week, but Martin is Danish and last time I checked lived in Denmark.

        That's great! Turnout is important, including in primaries and midterms. I was a few months too young in November 2020, but I voted in both the primary and the general elections in 2022 and intend to repeat that in 2024 and beyond. I also plan to ask my friends and most sensible relatives to do the same.

      Turns out it's very easy to disable the new Notepad on Windows 11 and get the old one back. Hopefully it stays that one, as the old one is so much better for me!

        @SteamingFire: I didn't realise it. :P But when I found out later, my second thought was "Eh, I ate one recently and it was fine, I can probably finish the rest", before remembering that I got sick.

        Every Tuesday we meet from 18 to 22, for dinner, sharing what's been going on in our lives, praise/worship, a Bible study and prayer. At least that's the basic schedule, a few Tuesdays in the year we do something else, such as a fun bonding activity or volunteer work (which can actually also be a fun bonding activity ;)).

      I swam in a beautiful lake with about two dozen people from my student's association. It was raining, and nobody else was there! A strange experience, because normally it is very busy there in summer.

      I'm really tired this Piwi Day, because I had a general meeting from my student's association last night, where I stayed until 00:20, before traveling home. I wore Piwi in my breast pocket. :D It was a historical meeting, as we voted on changes to the articles of association!
