        That's great! Turnout is important, including in primaries and midterms. I was a few months too young in November 2020, but I voted in both the primary and the general elections in 2022 and intend to repeat that in 2024 and beyond. I also plan to ask my friends and most sensible relatives to do the same.

      Turns out it's very easy to disable the new Notepad on Windows 11 and get the old one back. Hopefully it stays that one, as the old one is so much better for me!

        @SteamingFire: I didn't realise it. :P But when I found out later, my second thought was "Eh, I ate one recently and it was fine, I can probably finish the rest", before remembering that I got sick.

      I will know very soon who is in my 'kring' (small group) next year, and I am very excited! I will be kring leader once more, with someone else than last year. :)

        Every Tuesday we meet from 18 to 22, for dinner, sharing what's been going on in our lives, praise/worship, a Bible study and prayer. At least that's the basic schedule, a few Tuesdays in the year we do something else, such as a fun bonding activity or volunteer work (which can actually also be a fun bonding activity ;)).

      I swam in a beautiful lake with about two dozen people from my student's association. It was raining, and nobody else was there! A strange experience, because normally it is very busy there in summer.

      I'm really tired this Piwi Day, because I had a general meeting from my student's association last night, where I stayed until 00:20, before traveling home. I wore Piwi in my breast pocket. :D It was a historical meeting, as we voted on changes to the articles of association!

      For a year now, I've been making a new desktop wallpaper every week. Every day, one is picked at random, so by now the probability of any single background being picked is less than 2%! What is annoying is that Windows often caches them, making them blurry.
