If anyone wants any entertainment, keep an eye on UK politics today. Theresa May is facing a leadership challenge from within her own party tonight, after postponing her Brexit deal vote because she can't win it in parliament, after PMQs where Corbyn can roast her endlessly.
117 to 200. 30% of the House of Commons support her and she's about to lose the DUP. That's a gaping wound.
Plus one of the terms she's given the Conservatives is that she doesn't stand in the 2022 general election. Her career's done for.
Skins by XXXTentacion is the worst album I've heard this year by far. Thankfully there's only 20 minutes of it, which is admittedly 20 minutes longer than it should go on for.
this is pretty close http://www.eki.ee/dict/ekss/index.cgi?Q=valdus&F=M and that http://www.eki.ee/dict/ekss/index.cgi?Q=valdas&F=M
wat about kanepi vald. doesn't mean kõik kohalikud valdavad kanepi kasutamise oskus tho. ära ütle oma riigi valdajale ega valdjasele tho, muidu saavad südameinfarkti. Eriti selles valdkonnas, kus nad töötavad selle nimel. sõltumata sellest, et see on riigi valduses kohalikud muutsid nende valla vappi kanepiks. bark
My eyes have degraded to an axis of -2.5 and atm I'm just annoyed that glasses cost you £50-£100. They should be free, as Emperor NHS founder Healthcare Lord Aneurin Bevan intended.
And yeah I've looked at other instructors. They all have extensive waiting lists so I'm just annoying my normal one until he caves. Kinda gave up though. And no that doesn't work in English :P
Ah yeah - I hope you're at least able to, I don't think having small eyes is a problem, but I don't know for sure. I also thought I would be fine withoit, but the longer I use them the more I notice the eye torture without. :P
Yeah my instructor sadly also has a massive waiting list, which ended up taking even longer than I expected - the "test lesson" was in July but I'll only start somewhere in January... >.< Oh well, at least I have a nice instructor. :) I hope you'll come to terms or will find someone better. :)
Relevant part from the original cartoon movie: https://youtu.be/asBo3JUWwDU?t=1482 I much prefer the Dutch dub of this movie, as I find the voices to be better than the English dub. Cleopatra one has a strange english song somewhere halfway though. Guess it got never translated.
Those movies were very well done! I should check if I have the dvds, as otherwise I should probably get them and watch them again. The Cleopatra one was especially good. Some gags can be portrayed a lot better in film than in comic strip.
J.K Rowlings' Twitter beef/meltdowns is/are more entertaining than the entire Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises combined.
She's currently got an ongoing argument with the Brexit-supporting billionaire Arron Banks, who called her pretentious for having a writer's room after she called him a Russian slave or something. Her meltdowns are when she goes into full-blown SJW rants and even after all of these rants, having zero understanding of the issues she's on about
"If [rock music] is around, nobody's invited me to the party. All of the innovation and the incredible things happening in music are in hip-hop." - Adam Levine, a mediocre singer with a mediocre generic pop band that chases the latest trends in an attempt to stay relevant.
yeah he annoyed me, nobody's invited him to the rock party because he's... not rock? His band is an awful pop band that gets famous, big label-backed cash grab 'artists' to collaborate on their songs. In this same interview he said he only makes 'timeless music' that you 'could listen to 10-50 years now', when his music sounds dated after 6 weeks.
maroon 5 and most pop rock bands are a joke. The only good "pop rock" band that I have listened to so far is The 1975
HMKX is currently defending themselves against UKNS attack on their own convoys, Seriously UKNS and HMKX citizens are both dying.
Rest in peace, Harry Leslie Smith. World War II veteran, welfare state and refugee activist, all-around absolute legend. 🖤
A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships is my favourite album of the year. Highlights include Petrichor, Love It If We Made It, I Like America And America Likes Me, It's Not Living If It's Not With You, Mine, I Couldn't Be More In Love, and I Always Want To Die (Sometimes).
100 Percent agree. This album is amazing. I Always Want To Die is my absolute favorite track on the album followed by It's Not Worth Living and Be My Mistake. Definitely my top 10 of the year.
Right! I Always Want To Die is beautiful. I love how it sounds, but its ability to convey a conclusion that took me years to realise in just a few short lines makes me so happy - my death isn't mine to suffer, it's the people I leave behind's. I can't wait for that to reach their younger fans going through tough stuff right now, my sister included.
Another favourite of mine is Inside Your Mind. It's so Joy Division-inspired, but not a direct lift like GYAT is, I'd love it if it weren't for the creepy lyrics that made me think 'Jesus Christ' and wonder if Matty Healy should be in a mental institution.
