I'm making good progress, We3! On certain subjects it's hard to cite a lot of sources, as I've missed quite some lectures, and read less than half of the literature I was supposed to. However, on other subjects I've been able to write things that are probably quite good. :)

I'm not, but I knew about submarines, and realised that the opposite of a submarine is a supermarine (etymologically). So I considered what that would be... and then I realised aeroplanes are supermarines. Which is why I made this status.
But I hadn't expected an actual company to have made the same realisation as I have. :P

I am amused, but from the etymological perspective, they're only supermarines when they're flying over water. ;)

My relatives got a notification for his birthday. Then 'we' (I wasn't involved) asked Facebook to stop that. They then resolved to removing his account entirely, which apparently also made his comments and posts on other people's pages not show up anymore - not even anonymously.

I wanted to find it because since you gave me the idea of putting them elsewhere, I have not had this issue until the day before yesterday. :P I'm not sure what went wrong, but I finally knocked over a cup again, and hydrated my books. (:

Nevermind, I got it

The giveaway's got 30 numbers. If all are picked, I won't open up more spots, because I want the chance of winning (if you enter) to be at least 1/30 every year.
Last year, I for the first time excluded the "[GIVEAWAY]" tag from the beginning, and I only got 29 entries before I closed it after a few days, so the chance was a bit higher.

I doubt I'll ever put the tag in again, as the items given away at Piwi Day aren't of much physical worth, but rather of emotional worth. Also, I prefer having people join who don't click just because it says 'giveaway'. ;)

I have had a cold since Tuesday and it's still killing me

I'm fine, now, fortunately. Just a bit of a headache now and then, but it's not bothering me too much.

I am glad I left now, before most of the event really starts, as wow, are there many people. :P 20 thousand people camping, and an expected 60 to 80 thousand total visitors.
