I am going to try to make it next Friday, it sounds like heaps of fun

My latest experiences with this event have been enjoyable for me. I've felt like I'm not getting anything done when I'm at the event. For instance, I've been getting less resources than what I expected because I can't keep up with the players for the haste mining perks.
Unless I can get into an interesting conversation with the community on Mumble, I'm not going to attend Friday Night Miners until EMC updates to 1.8 which there's still no estimated time frame by the staff.

Hoping to see a lot of players tonight! Remember to join us all on mumble!

EMC is eastern US time. /time in-game also gives that info, I believe.
