Nice job Jewel! I'm not sure if you know this but you can fall into the first venus flytrap from the right of the rails and save Clover with just half a heart. It'll save you a ton of time of avoiding to do all the precision parkour on the dripleafs! I discovered this on my own because I cannot be bothered to do parkour unless it's 100% necessary. (Like the dripstone cave section...) Turns out the venus flytrap is within "survival range" from the rails that you'll just barely survive!
I was totally on the edge of my seat watching the race one lol, I couldnt remember times at all and that was down to the photo finish! you definitely made up a lot of time in the arrow part!
My turn, but sadly I couldn't beat naMrorriM. (I really need to work on my parkour skills again) Although I think I do use some tricks that might be usefull to optimize some runs. Also, what is our pollicy about using shortcuts and glitches? If teleporting to games and back is allowed, then just using "/v pumpkinking" should also be allowed I guess. But due to an oversight the subzone cauldron also has TP enabled, so is "/v pumpkinking.cauldron" also allowed? If I prepare a potion and drop it on the floor before pressing reset, I can still pick it up after the reset, is that allowed? In any case, i completely fumbled this run and still got an excesively quick time.
Nice run! I think those teleports should definitely be used, the drop potion is too much prep outside the timer in my opinion. I guess it's a grey area since the event otherwise prevents dropping altogether, and in this section it is allowed so I would love to hear other's thoughts. On the topic of outside prep I suppose having /games pre-typed falls into that category as well so now I'm trying to figure out why I think that should be allowed. I think the important difference to me is whether or not the trick can be done as if it were your first time loading in to the event. As for other glitches, if it doesn't break any EMC rules, anything goes.
I haven't looked into the event at all, nor watched the videos, but I love the discussion on rules and restrictions.
