Empire update to 1.15 - The Aquatic Buzzy Village update!

  2. Ran into an issue with rails, if there's no block under the block the rail is on you can pass through the floor, and sometimes vertically too. This is very dangerous in the end.

  3. I believe this is vanilla mechanics. But how are you getting rails that are not on a block? afaik, they don't have a hitbox. Hence why you cannot stand on them.

  4. I've seen many spawn like that in mineshafts natuarlly but never manually.

  6. No there IS a block on the rail, and when you get out of the minecart you get teleported under it unless there's another block under that. No one has any floating rails.

  8. I can't really access the area effectively because the floor is at Y=1 since it's in the end. If you go to the end on SMP3, turn around at the spawn pad and ride the rail in the purpur tunnel, it should repeat the bug.



    That's literally the entire set up to repeat the bug. As far as I know it's emc exclusive. You should fall through the floor on the granite one, and you should also fall through on the diorite one, but the block under will catch you.

  9. Hopped in game really quick. Definitely some strange behavior going on that can be reproduced. Not sure why people are getting stuck in the floor.

  10. This issue is what wiped out the villager population at our 1.15 version of the iron farm we recently rebuilt. They were falling through the floor, most to their deaths after a sizeable fall. The others fell into water canals and were killed when an iron golem showed up and pushed them into the bubblevator. I was only able to eggify 8, once I realized what was happening. We have not repopulated since I have been monitoring the above convo to determine if the bug was recognized and being addressed. Iron production is currently at zero. Hoping you (Chicken) and Aikar have an epiphany soon! 1.15 update has been great, but there have been challenges. Have a great week all! :cool:
  11. I am not sure what you are referring to. The above report related strictly to leaving a vehicle.

  12. I think SuSu is talking about the villager bed bug, which is a seperate issue that Mojang caused.

  13. Further investigation showed that this bug occurs in single player also. As mentioned. Working on a solution.
    A quick solution to your particular setup in the end is to give a cleared area for the player to exit the minecart. (Signs and crops are considered unsafe...)

  14. Any word on fortresses that have stopped spawning fortress mobs? Will a fix eventually be deployed or should we not expect them to be fixed?

  17. Another round of performance improvements going out, and something special.... Who will be first to notice (non staff, because some cheated :p)

    and for nether forts, were looking to adjust wither skeles spawn behavior to not rely as much on vanilla placement.

  20. Seemingly ever since the update I've been getting really bad freezes/hangs of 1-5 seconds when teleporting (even within the same residence). When crossing chunk borders I also often get small/medium stutter/freeze. This was not the case before today.
