How did this get so many views?! (Is it because it was the first Wild outpost) (I love the LLO but just a question )
It is a 232 page thread. So I guess the views are a mix of people checking regularly to reply and people lurking because of the view / page count.
Nope. No sticky or bumping it. Just people asking stuff and me (and soon others too) posting updates spawning new discussions. I became so vivid I started the site to outsource some of the repeating issues.
I am dumping the scavenger hunt, if anyone else wants to do it, go ahead. I am now working on a parkour course. Concept pics will be up soon.
The first thing is the jumping stones, the most basic parkour thing. Next comes the ladders, where you just move from ladder to ladder, without falling off. Next comes fence jumps, a harder version of stone jumps. Next is move ladders, which you jump down to, and try not to miss. Next you jump into water, and then the lava area, which is mostly just stone jumps. Then you jump to some glowstone, which is the end. Its small, and not the hardest thing ever, but its meant for speed runs. Someone would time each contestant on it, and the shortest time wins. If you fall off the course, you lose. If you CHEAT, you lose. Its also a death parkour, so the runners would not bring ANYTHING to it.

You would have to remove the lava. It's an example of PvP. Also, feel free to build a game in LLO anyone. Just PM me first so I know and can add it to the sign ups-list.
Parkour course=AWESOME. Regarding the lava: is it really PvP if there are signs warning of the danger, and the course is only accessible by choice? I love the element of danger involved, as it gives a competitor just that much more reason to be careful. ;D 2nd 'Grand Central Station'=who cares? As in, who cares what it's called, if there is a need/want for another rail hub, why not? LLO is probably big enough now to have several connected hubs with numerous branching lines. GO NUTS!!!! ;D Also, I'd like to give an official forum welcome to my first 'tenant' in Philo Tower. Welcome, Watk4219, to the 11th floor! I really like what you've done. ;D All other floors are still open, numbered from above the lobby (lobby is floor '0', or 'ground'); 1st floor being a transition, so a public path from the lobby elevators to the central elevator shaft must remain open. The 13th floor is actually a triple-high (about 15 blocks) for 'industrial' purposes, the remaining levels are between 2 and 4 blocks, most 3 high. Level 14 is the observation deck, and as it seems someone broke out a glass pane, I'll save anyone else the 'test' and tell you right now that the fall from there is absolutely FATAL. Jump only if MC life is THAT bad. ;D Philo Tower is open to anyone, I just ask that you follow the rules set forth previously (search my earlier posts to this thread), set a sign outside the elevator so others know that it's claimed and by whom. Also, you are free to explore the basement, although use caution, as I can't guarantee a mobless environment down there. There are a few connecting caves, and a side shaft to one of the large ravine/cavern complexes under LLO. Peace to all!!! ;D
As long as signs are posted that death CAN happen well running the course, everything is ok. Also, if they fall off the high part or slip into the lava, and die its their own fault.
LLO Museum construction is coming along very nicely. Come check it out! It's at the west on the platform. (kinda hard to miss )
PVP is player V player, not player v themselves. Starting of the course would be in a room, which the door would be taken away, so no one else would be able to start the course. Its also a concept design.
How about asking a Mod? Then it'll be settled because we have this half of the outpost saying It's not and this half saying it is.
