i agree that there are the possibilities of other methods of voting so i'm going to answer why to each of your questions: "1. You can switch one book in the chest with your own remaining book, so when you vote yes, you can take another yes out and put the no back in. This should not help anyone though, so nobody should do it. 2. You can see who voted what, cause people sign the books themself. The books should all be signed by 1, cause it's not private when everyone can see who voted what." what we have is the ability to change your vote until the end of the 24 hr limit. with each person signing the book then there is no chance of people voting more than once or if some one does take someone else's vote then its up to the person who is missing their vote to alert us as soon as possible. as for seeing what everyone voted, we have a conversations going with most if not all of the members are participating in and we post who is wanting to join and the pro's and con's of allowing them to join.
Voting will be completed in roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once it hits 3:37 PST any new votes are invalid. If the majority is "Yes" I will message you with directions. If you require and escort one will be chosen. If the majority is "No" I will message you with reasoning behind it. Nothing is to be taken personally. If voted "No," You may reapply in a couple of weeks. This applies to everyone interested in joining in the
Voting is CLOSED. You will be PM'd directions. If you wish to know the votes you may ask, and I will explain the reasoning behind them.
Voting for you has started. I'd also like to make a note that if something is unanimous / everyone has voted then the 24 hour period isn't needed and you'll be contacted shortly.
Succesfully joined and brought the 10 stacks I thought the way towards it was a lot harder, but it's safe and hidden, I like that. I didn't even need to use my sword.
I just want to make one thing clear for current/future members: If you only want to come to the outpost to participate in the wither fights and make a little bit of money, you will be asked to leave. We don't mind you being here and making some money on the side, but if you're using others (by having them find the skulls and just fighting withers) you will be asked to leave. A successful outpost is a friendly community. It's hard to focus on friends and helping out when you're only focused on the money you can make. Equal participation is what we're looking for. We want this outpost to be like an independent survival server. Sure you can transfer experience from other servers and yeah, it's still EMC's rules, but it's basically a wilderness family because being in the wild alone is boring. To summarize: If you want to come, you have to participate. If you don't help develop the outpost further and only come to make money off others, you will not get money. This is to nobody in particular, but if you're reading this and get the feeling I may be talking to you, then that's a sign you need to help more. Sorry for the seriousness, but the people collecting skulls to help spread some money are sacrificing quite a bit of money to help you guys out. Ninja has found over 20 and is getting around half price each to help you guys out. Have some respect for the people who are helping you. After this upcoming battle, if I (or others) feel you are not contributing enough, you will A) Not receive Beacon payment and B) Be asked to leave. If you refuse to leave I will ask a staff member to get involved. Thanks!
Posting here from now on instead of the convo: We currently have 3 sets of beacons. One of two Two of Four When two of our beacons sell (12,000 each - SMP 1 res 404) I will be splitting the money like so: AmusedStew - 4,800 DeMott_Mafia - 4,800 xI_Like_A_Pigx - 4,800 UltimateGamer107 - 4,800 Crazy1800 - 4,800 That's 2,400 thousand to us each per beacon. I'll just give up 2,000 of my own money. Bilbo - 285 Jacob - 285 MVP - 285 Piggeh - 285 607 - 285 Gamer - 285 Hayjam - 285 When the next set of four sells: Ninja - 12,000 -3,000 per Crazy - 12,000 -3,000 per HayJam - 4,000 - 1,000 per DeMott - 4,000 - 1,000 per Piggeh - 4,000 - 1,000 per Jacob - 4,000 - 1,000 per Ninja - 4,000 - 1,000 per Crazy - 4,000 - 1,000 per Will be paid after 1 beacon sells (again, will take out of own money for that) Bilbo - 333 MVP - 333 Amused - 333 Catwarrior - 333 Gamer - 333 607 - 333 10 beacons total. 120,000 to be divide equally Ya'll reading this should buy a beacon.
This is because people will want to know. This will include amount already paid out (24,000 total) Totals by order of arrival: Crazy - 32,000 Gamer - 12,218 DeMott - 24,000 Amused - 18,333 Piggeh - 17,885 Hay - 8,285 Cat - 4,733 Bilbo - 618 MVP - 618 Ninja - 22,600 607 - 618 Jacob -4,285 For those of you who are curious about how we come up with the numbers (set one was just equally divided among outpost memberes) 2,000 per skull found (24,000 total) 22,000 split up between the fighters (Skull finders may be included) 2,000 split up between people absent during the fight.
Oh and while doing that, I realized I divided fighters amount by 24,000 instead of 22,000, but instead of figuring out the new amount I'm just putting in an extra 2k of my own money. @Epic Currently we are working on upgrading and expanding before accepting more people. There is one person on the vote (A friend of DeMott IRL) and then it should take a couple days before new members join. The best way to get on the vote when we're ready is constantly remind us to show continued interest.
To sum up what crazy is saying, not currently. Keep reminding us so we don't forget you want to be in here
One thing I wanna say - unrelated to above: We need to find a nearby-ish skeleton spawner. More and more people are coming so arrows are in more demand. The Blaze grinder also only really works for one person. So if you have time, explore a bit. Bring some torches!
Btw, he means bring some torches along with you when you go exploring not when you are coming to the outpost. I bring in enough coal from all those wither skeles.
I would like to join . I'll wait and bug you about* every time I have time. *a gentle reminder, of course
