I'm *slightly* confused as to why someone would need two screens. Could someone please explain that to me? kthxbye.
I sometimes play a game/do work or something on my main screen and use Skype on my secondary Also helps me a lot with my work, I can research on my main screen with the word document on my secondary (or vice versa) I rarely use the second screen which is why it's a small cheap one but it comes in handy at certain points
That makes sense, and it does seem helpful, especially considering how much it slows down my computer when I have 92 windows (exaggeration) open.
sorry for not replying for so long, iv been busy with allot of stuff and my internet isn't very good. but yes it's a Huion drawing tablet
Yes, I am bumping this old thread. Deal with it. Computer: HP Spectre x360 (2016 13.3 inch, not pictured): Intel i7-6500u 8 GB DDR3L 256 GB SSD Peripherals: Logitech MX Master Old, horrid HP keyboard Overpriced Sony alarm clock Samsung 23.6 inch monitor, HP 22 inch monitor Logitech C615 Webcam Sony MDR Bluetooth noise-cancelling headphones (not pictured) Random things I love: Rubber ducky armed forces, K9 Exploding TARDIS Mousepad Yankee Candles I'm saving up for a new keyboard and matching monitors
Didn't realise this went inactive. I love this thread *also I am desperately trying to read your Spotify name*
This thread is alive again?? Not the best setup compared to the others on here But I plan on getting a bigger one soon. (It's messy, I know)
kernt wait 2 show new 'setup' pics in December when/if I get a new laptop. Probably doused in pink or something. It'll be nice to have two screens again
I would never turn down the chance to come back from the dead to post in a thread I thought was dead.
Just got two new monitors yesterday. Pretty happy with them. Specs PC: CPU: Intel Core i7 6500 @ 3.2 GHz GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GAMING X RAM: Corsair Value Select (1x 8GB) Mobo: MSI H110M PRO-VH PSU: Corsair VS550 CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo SSD: Samsung 750 EVO 500GB HDD: WD Blue 2TB Case: BitFenix Nova ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Monitor (2x): AOC G2460V 24 inch, 1ms response time, 1920x1080 resolution Keyboard: Roccat Iksu Mouse: SpeedLink Kudos Z-9 Headset: Turtle Beach EarForce PX22 Controller: Steam controller ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Pretty happy with my current setup
Finally after being lazy for months & months I decided to post a photo of my desk! (totally not because I moved and packed it up). The monitor is from Best Buy & the Tower can be found here. Cheeky sidenote: the deadpool mousepad can be found here.
My setup has upgraded today. My friend helped me drain the water cooling, replace my 2x 590 GTX GPU with an 1070 and new Power Supply (Went from 1500W Silver to 1000W Platinum) My goal.... Get 6 monitors working and reduce my power bill. Before I've had 3+2 using 2 on laptop on synergy, but linux nvidia drivers are capped to 3 for multi gpu/sli in single desktop. But if all the displays are on same gpu, you can go 4, which 9xx/10xx cards support. So now I'm 4+2 displays and should hopefully reduce my insane power bill greatly. If I can reduce that power bill by 40$, it will have paid itself off in 2 years!
