My desktop is on life-support at the moment, owing to numerous hardware failures (not the least of which was my primary C:\ drive, a week or so back)... bottom line, Minecraft and most everything else are out of the question for me at the moment. If someone would be so kind as to buy one of these /promo benches for me, I'd gladly repay the 5k for it when I'm able to log back in again - regrettably, that might be in a month or so when I can afford to rebuild this dying PC.

If you have an Android or iOS phone, you can download apps that let you chat, so you could use that to pay him.
You may use it as many times as you want. Just keep it in your inventory to always have a crafting table ready to use I thought of this kind of idea when building that corner tower; found it rather inconvenient to go find a crafting table whenever I needed to craft
