  4. For those of you with good computers like me... fraps does not work well and causes lag and lag spikes. Use Dxtory instead.. it does not lag and has a lot more features than fraps. The only thing it can't do is record the desktop

  6. That doesn't really make much sense. Good computers should be able to run it better. What are your computer's specs?

  10. fraps isn't meant for high end computers I was told

    my specs:
    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
    Video: Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 OC edition
    Processor: AMD fx-4300 3.8GHz quad core
    Hard Drive: Western Digital WD10EZEX blue 7200rpm 64mB cache 6.0 GB/s 1 TB
    8 gb ram

    fraps runs slow for my friends that also have good computers
    fraps does not lag or slow down the game on my horrible laptop

  11. It depends on how much you have running in the background mostly, because of the HDD. If someone were to use Fraps after a fresh restart or dedicate an HDD to it, it will perform better.

  12. when I first tested a recording on my computer, 10 seconds on fraps= 1 GB into the video file and there were lag spikes (could be because vsync was off)

  19. I have an EMC lets play and I do lots of videos and stuff. I have 40 subs but they are all active and everything. I have made EMC quick builds, mob arena, and even just adventures with friends on skype
