  1. Excuse you

As you enter, you see a large man, although his back his turned. He seems to be cooking, or at least fiddling with something. He hums along to some quiet music playing from somewhere else in the room, obviously unaware of your presence. The music has a ghostly yet calming feel to it, but it does little to calm your nerves

  2. Character Name: Sinne
Character Personality: starting, she's a bit shy, and not very daring. She might develop a stronger personality during playing, depending on what people she meets and what choices she makes.
Character Appearance: blue eyes, blond, semi-long hair. She's weak (this is a vicious cycle with her personality: she's weak, which makes her less daring, which makes her shy, which makes her think she's weak), and not short.
Animal form: duck (I know, might seem a bit weird for a tall person, but I like the contrast). I don't really know about the appearance. I often picture a cliché yellow duck, but that would be weird, as only baby ducklings look that way. I could do that, though, it doesn't all have to be super logical.
Race: anima, duh, else there wouldn't be an animal form :p.
Sinne tries to be more human-like, but when she sees humans, she tends to go into duck-form to sneak by without getting confronted.
Class: she doesn't know what she's good for herself, so I'm not going to fill in somewhere.

Starting place: could you dump me into the forest Owl_on_Caffeine was just in? :)

Good enough, right? Not perfect, but it took me quite some time >.<
I don't consider myself very good at this kind of roleplaying, but I would like to learn it, as it can be very fun and you can learn from it too.

  3. You sit near a small lake, watching the ducks go about their daily business. You consider joining them and washing your thoughts away in the water, but the ducks swim away from you before you have chance. The forest seems disturbed today, as if something else is controlling it. The trees and the birds alike have almost lost their usual peaceful aura

  4. I glance around the room, taking stock of what's in it (Alice, feel free to insert what's in the room in your nest reply. :)). I approach him as quietly as I can, trying desperately not to make the slightest noise. I peer around him to try to see what he's doing, only to find that he's...
  5. As you peek over his side, you see anything but what you were expecting. The man continues humming his tune, as his hand works.

You stay and watch for a moment, out of both wonder and surprise. In your daydreaming at the drawing, you stay for too long. The man moves his arm to draw, but gets quite a shock when his arm hits you, "What the?!" he exclaims, turning to face you.

"Oh, hi, it's you!" he says quickly, as if greeting an old friend, "I was wondering when you'd wake up!" he smiles and stumbles on his words, still getting over the shock, "B-But how did you get out, weren't you injured?" he says the last word slowly, almost as if to bring whatever injury you might have had back...

  6. That is some nice drawing. Did you do it, Alice?

I grunt quietly and flinch a little when he hits me with his arm. When he asks me about my injuries, I say, "Yes. They seem to be mostly healed, though. I'm sore and weak, but not incapacitated. Are you the one who patched me up?". I decide not to mention the girl in the picture. "Where's my horse?"
  7. I wish I did, but I can't draw with real anatomy, only my weird chibi style

"Yeah, I am" he smiles warmly, calming your nerves slightly, "Your...horse?" he echos, "You had a horse?"
  8. Looking at the little pay he gave me I press to argue, but his henchmen escorted me out of the building. "Cheapskates" I mumbled to myself. I was long from home and wanted to be home. I took the forest path.
  9. (I swear I replied to this earlier)

As you walk into the forest the sounds of the working village die down, replaced with the chirping of birds and the rustles of bushes. You let the forest atmosphere wash over you until something runs across your path, shocking you out of your daydreaming with a loud crash and it's violent footsteps until it vanishes into the trees, leaving only hoof marks in the path
  10. I growl at the noises and decide to investigate who disturbed my needed relaxation.
  11. As you look through the forest you see a pair of antlers, and a strange creature attached to them...

It looks like some sort of fawn, a deer. However something about it is off... It's probably just the fur colours... It looks around, as if searching for something. Your mind runs wild as everything about this animal seems to say "I'm rare, sell me!" but it looks so peaceful and graceful.... However I'm sure some hunter or tailor would buy the beast for a hefty sum..

  12. I look at the creature with curiosity for creating such a large noise. I knew it must've costed a lot for its pelt. I shook my head to see I had no rope in my bag. I saw that the deer was looking for something but what, so I turned into my animal form to hear.
  13. The deer looked larger and more shaken as you turned into your animal form. It turned it's head around, suddenly seeing you in the brush, "What are you doing here?!" it said, looking around madly, "Have you seen a robin around here?!" it said, looking around again. It suddenly got angry, "Have you eaten a robin recently?" the once peaceful deer looks as if it wants to stomp you into the ground....

  14. "Oh no," I replied. "I wanted to hear who you were looking for." I perk up from the bushes, "I'll be on the lookout." I left the bushes and went back onto the path. I made sure I was listening and using my nose to find the fawns robin friend.
  15. I see. I wish I could draw humans like that, too.

"Yes, my horse." I say as I run (well, hobble) over to the door. I get out the door and, without noticing my surroundings other than that I'm still in the forest, I push my fingers into my mouth and let out a piercing whistle.

  16. You could almost feel the deer watching you as you walked along the path, making sure you held true to your promise of searching. Tweets and tunes of many birds filled your ears, but none of them sounded like a robin.... You smile as a light comes into view, it must be the front light of your house

The man watches you as you approach the door, as if he wants to say something, but he just stares at you instead. He seems increasingly interested as you whistle, as he peers over your shoulder to see what might be approaching.
After a few moments, excited hooves sound in the distance. You almost things it might not be Abelard, until a loud neigh sounds and he bursts through the trees, almost bowling you over

  17. I've searched for hours trying to find the single robin, I've given up after a while having mixed messages from the other birds. I stroll back into my home. It's been awhile since I was home, all the tables and chairs were covered in a blanket of dust. I turned back to my human for and got some hot water ready for a quick bath. I dusted while my water got warm. Eventually, the water was ready and got the tub full of water. I cleaned myself down as best as I could. Got most of the salt off my body and afterwards, I wanted to take a nap. I slept soundly after getting clean clothes.

  18. I speak to him soothingly as I rub his muzzle (Is that the right term) and his neck. After he's calmed down a little, I give him a hug which hurts, but to me it's worth it. "Do you have someplace I can put him, for now?" I ask the man. I realize something. "You never told me what your name was. Also, what is a man just a few years older than me doing in the forest by himself?"

  19. You dream of the small deer from earlier, walking away into the forest with a small bird on it's back. The deer warms you with a smile full of joy as you recognise the bird as a robin.
You wake with a start as a loud banging on your window crashes through the house. You hear a familiar angry voice, the fury surrounding the person outside clear in his tone. You groggily sit up and look around your room, still tired. A frustrated shout snaps you into action, "You stupid fox! You better get out here right now or I'll use you as bait for the other workers!"

He grins, "What is a man, just a few years younger than me, doing in the forest alone with his horse?" he smile and chuckles to himself, obviously not wanting an answer, but the look he shoots you warns you to not ask any more questions. Looks like he isnt going to be an easy nut to crack.... The angry look vanishes from his face, replaced by the usual welcoming aura, "There's a post out front you could tie him to if you like" he shrugs, "There's little more than that Im afraid"
