[FORUM GAME] New Nations

  1. The Roman Union views themselves as the legitimate heirs of Rome, and its true successor. However, their goal was always to make Rome better, not to make a Carbon Copy.
    For example:
    • Many Democratic institutions; they want a Rome that represents the interests of the People and won't fall apart the moment conquests stop coming in. Of course, Rich people still hold sway. Lots of it, but it isn't one guy ruling everything.
    • For God's sake, Plunder Economies are bad. 60% of Italy's efforts over the past few years have been to create a stable, non-plunder Economy.
    • Rome was glorious, but it had problems. Mussolini knew that, and despite his own hunger for power attempted to at least create a nation that would last.
There are many levels of annexation and political union
    • Puppet State: Not even a level of annexation, puppet given high level of internal freedom although foreign relations and wars they enter are very much under the control of the puppeteer; probably the best option for any nation that is about to be overwhelmed by an exponentially stronger nation.
      • (Puppet-Puppeteer)
      • Fascist Spain-Italy
      • UBR-SEU (they used to be equals, but ever since UBR lost Poland SEU has been forced to turn them into a puppet state to fight the Germans.)
    • Political Union: Equal Political Union; while technically a level of annexation, it's more of a forced union.
      • Greater German Republic under Poland and Germany; as the two dominant ethnic groups, they basically do whatever they want.
      • Socialist Eurasian Union under Russia, China, Korea, Ukraine, and Belarus/Kazakhstan. These five are the biggest and most powerful ethnic groups in SEU and they make the decisions.
      • Austro-Hungarian Union under Austrians, Czechians, Hungarians and Slovakians. These four basically have an unspoken agreement to keep every other ethnic group shut up.
    • Annexation: Complete absorption of one political/ethnic group into another.
      • GGR to Norway and eventually Denmark.
      • SEU to Tibet; Tibet clearly doesn't fit, but SEU is willing to literally grind up Tibet's culture to make it fit.
    • Misc: doesn't in any of the above.
      • Sunayyad Caliphate to... basically everything.
  2. Status of Regions and Provinces in the Sunayyad Caliphate:

    Turkey (Anatolia, Asian Minor):
      • A prosperous economy, one which is growing fast, especially as the HQ for the Caliphate Space Agency, and Motorlu + Okuz Car manufacturers. Holding close to their Ottoman roots, they see the Arab Caliphate as a resurrection of it, however, are modernizing more than the Ottoman Empire ever would have.
    Kurdistan:
      • Proud of their freedoms as a province, being a rejected majority in past history for a while. They are a Nationally recognized language and one of the biggest ethnic groups, the Kurds. Currently starting rapid development.
    Mesopotamia (IRAQ):

    • Arab Shia State
      • Basically the Shia side of Iraq, they hold large amounts of oil and have a grasp in the Persian Gulf, making their economy rapidly expansive. Due to WESCO improvements, they have come to be proud of their Mesopotamian history; they also hold one of the strongest military concentrations in the country, and are very close to the capital.
    • Arab Sunni State
      • Grateful for the recognition of not being apart of the "Shia Side", although no real economic difference from Shia Arabia as they are under the same country, they enjoy religious recognition.
    • Kuwait
      • Oil
    Arabia

    • (Saudi Arabia in more modern terms)
      • Albeit traditional, they are still a decently strong province and have quite a bit of oil. Their provincial governors are basically more like rich Kings.
    • Qatar/UAE
      • The fastest growing location in the entire Caliphate, their score with oil has literally made fishing towns like Dubai now begin to rapidly expand. Again, instead of governors they are usually ruled by Emirs and Kings. Rich Arab Nobility.
    • Islamic Holy State of Mecca (Hejaz)
      • The most non-Musawai and most Muslim place in the world; the provincial hold over Mecca and Medina, making them very Holy indeed. Fun fact, this is the only province where the Hijab is MANDATORY for all women.
    • Yemen
      • Gaining prosperity, a strong connection to the NAE, sharing one of the most well defended straits, going into the Red Sea.
    • Oman
      • Being wealthy from the trade route from the Persian Gulf, that's all they have going for them...
    Persia

      • A very, very big player as a Province, showing rapid development. Seen as the shield from the Eastern SEU forces, Persia's infrastructure is developing fast, and they produce the most vehicles for the army, and for Motorlu and Okuz, making them very rich. Also, mining and oil is pretty good too.
    Afghanistan

      • Pretty seldom, they are quite peaceful and grow at a normalized rate. There is nothing really special about them, however, they do hold a reputation for being a stopping block in a westward SEU attack, and have a strong relationship with the Stan nations above. Overall, they are doing things at their own pace, and well.
    Levants

    • Syria
      • Not very talked about, however their growth is considerable and they show good signs of becoming a great region.
    • Lebanon
      • The most liberal province in the SC by far, prospering from Musawaism. Although homosexuality is flat out illegal in the Caliphate, Lebanon has a hidden and fast growing population of "secret-LGBT". They have great infrastructure and are a very modern region.
    • Israel.................
      • Very controversial, although recognized as a province, it's tricky because they are a literally a province in a province: Palestine. The "invasion" and misplacement of homes of the Palestinian people give them a sour reputation, but, they were given land grants and homes from the government for the influx population, however, it is soon not becoming enough, and the region is predicted to explode within the next decade. Although, they are very technically savy, as the Jewish people are known to be very smart, and indulge in mechanics, sciences, and medicines. Having a Jewish officer or engineer in the government or military is a golden opportunity.
    • Palestine
      • Struggling for recognition, soon to blow apart.
    North Africa

    • Egypt
      • Unfortunately in past few decades has seen a drop in prosperity, but they have seen signs of slowly building themselves back up and becoming a major economic power in the near future.
    • Libya
      • Sparsely population, but the national railway and pipeline running through their north side has improved the regions economy by quite a lot. New plans for the Nubian Aquifer project are underway, and Libya is a big power player in that project alone.
    • Algeria
      • Very fast in their growth, competing to Egypt. They have some ties to their colonialist pass, and hold some business deals as a region to France. France's biggest business range is in Algeria.
    • Tunisia
      • Not much can be said, but they are adept in becoming a Utopian and tropical hub, for some reason.
    • Morocco
      • Being the last stop for the National Sunayyad railway, they are the gate to the Americans and the Atlantic nations to the Caliphate. They also have a strong military presence in Gibraltar, and hold suspicion of Iberia.
    Others

    • Nubia (Sudan)
      • Literally not much really goes on here
    • South Nubia (South Sudan)
      • The most Independent Region of the Caliphate, they are the most Christian, and the most isolated. In past years they have been very prosperous, using their agricultural potential to become the biggest supplier of national food to the Caliphate. The people are pretty much left alone, the Caliphate is just there to prevent an uprising and just to make sure taxes are paid. Overall, a very fast growing province.

  3. The Soviet Union Motto:
Who dares to challenge God? Who dares to defy the will of Satan? Who dares to forge a path of our very own?
The Soviet Union. The Soviet Union dares to forge a new, utopian path for Humanity. We refuse to accept the fate laid out for us. We shall fight fate, and we shall prevail or die trying.
SEU Media and the Great Black Wall:
The GBW is SEU's Media censorship wall. However, SEU doesn't even try to hide it; SEU issues only guidelines to non-state media outlets, basically telling them "critisizing the Party is OK, just don't stir crap and don't go overboard". State Media outlets tell of many problems. It's almost never portrayed as the Socialist Party's fault, and if it is the Socialist Party is shown working very hard to fix the problem.
SEU is repressive. It's a regime. It is also, by far, the most determined government to create a better world.
In any case, SUSA has levied many tarriffs on RUM. They insist the leader has to go, or SUSA will not lift the tarriffs.
  4. SEU Regions and Oblasts/Provinces
    • Chinese Region: Ethnically, most are Han. The true heartland of SEU and by far the region with the most political clout. They are in it for the power and glory, and composes around 70% of SEU's Economy and over 80% of the population. They are the undisputed heavy industry and mass production kings of the World.
      • Guangdong Province: Containing the twin, competing, Jewels of China that really hate each other, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
        • Shenzhen: The Self-proclaimed Financial Hub of Asia, Shenzhen has launched many initiatives to become the true leader of the Province. They are a technological hub, top 10 in the World.
        • Hong Kong: The Self-proclaimed Financial Hub of Asia, Hong Kong is in a state of instability thanks to riots and demands of independence. However, they are still the traditional financial hub.
      • Tibet Province: Currently under ethnic cleansing by the SEU government. This blatant violation of Human rights has not gone ignored. Human Rights are a fictional concept and thus cannot be violated with any meaning. The Socialist Party welcomes criticism, but based on fact. They demand independence and freedom, but the Party cannot provide. Not will not. Cannot.
      • Autonomous Province of East Turkestan: After they decided to play it safe, they were rewarded for it. They have near-equal rights as a Region, and has been given substantial economic and cultural benefits. This is basically because the leaders of East Turkestan during their rebellion was smart and played it safe. They're basically a region in their own right, and classified as a Province in only name.
    • Korean Region: Ethnically, most are Koreans. They are a technological and Shipbuilding powerhouse, with their Economy built off Incheon, Seoul, and Busan. Korea holds disproportionate influence within SEU, but are still the third most powerful region in advancing their interests mostly due to the sheer power gap between Korea and the powerhouses of Russia and China.
      • Gyeongido: Korea's heart and its technological hub, it basically researches all day; all the latest tech, military and civilian, is researched here. While the actual production occurs in Russia, Mikoyan-Gurevich in particular has relocated much of its research facilities to Gyeongido.
        • Seoul: The Jewel of Asia, with by far the largest population, largest Economy, and most influence.
      • Gyeongsangdo: The pride of the SEU Shipbuilding Industry, making money off trade and building ships.
    • Kazakh Region: Mostly Kazakhs and Russians. Makes money off extracting stuff out of the ground, and the only reason the Russian region hasn't absorbed them yet is because they are culturally distinct from Russia. The Russians certainly want to, but China has stymied them time and again.
    • Belarussian Region: A large portion of Belarus's GDP comes from Oil refining and industry. Belarus of all regions maintains the highest GDP per capita of SEU and has been consistently rated as an excellent place to live. Belarus has no significant natural resources, but despite this has a (relatively) strong Economy.
      • Minsk Oblast: The centerpiece of Industry in the Western SEU. This makes Minsk a hugely tempting target for invaders. SEU knows this, and has instituted a system to systematically transport it East.
    • Russian Region: Having more land area than every other region combined, all of SEU's weapons firms and state-owned enterprises are in some way from Russia. Ethnically diverse, Russia possesses vast natural resources; their thing is digging stuff out of the ground and selling it, as well as Industry.
      • Moscow Oblast: The administrative center of Russia, all roads lead, eventually, in Russia, to Moscow. As such, Moscow is seen as one of the most developed Cities on Earth, although this is highly relative.
      • Khanty-Mansly Oblast: Oil!
    • Ukrainian Region: Plenty of farmland to work with, they provicde most of Europe's food.

  5. SEU Holidays:
    • GREGORIAN 1/1: New Years! Everyone in all regions gets a day off.
    • GREGORIAN 1/10: National Founding Day, all people in all regions get a day off, and there's a treat in that there are massive military parades.
    • LUNAR 1/1: Lunar New Years! Everyone in China and Korea gets 5 days off around the holidays.
    • GREGORIAN 2/28: Communism Day; the day when the Communist Manifesto was published by the Worker's Educational Association, according to the Socialist Party. All regions get a day off.
    • GREGORIAN 5/1: Socialist Worker's Day! Everyone in all regions gets a day off.
    • GREGORIAN 5/5: Children's Day! School is out! All children are exempt from all academies, schools, and homework.
    • LUNAR 8/15: Seollnal/Mid-Autumn Festival; Korean and Chinese are both allowed 3 days off.
    • GREGORIAN 8/15: Korean Independence Day; the day Korea was liberated from the Japanese yoke. All Koreans get 1 day off.
    • GREGORIAN 9/12: Victory in China Day; the day China drove out Japan, truly.
    • GREGORIAN 10/9: Hunminjongeum Day; all Koreans get a day off in celebration of the Korean Alphabet.
    • GREGORIAN 11/4: National Unity day; everyone gets a day off.
    • GREGORIAN 11/21: Socialism Day; the day when Lenin and the Founder published the Socialist Doctrine and the Path to a better Future, both books SEU currently follows in the case of the latter or intends to follow in the case of the former. All regions get a day off.
    • GREGORIAN 12/13: Removal of Invaders Day; the day SEU truly, conclusively defeated Japan's colonial ambitions.
    • GREGORIAN 12/25: Christmas; Australians and Koreans get a day off.
    • ORTHODOX JULIAN 12/25: Orthodox Christmas Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarussians get 2 days off, one at the eve, one at the day.

  6. SEU has decided to change their Calendar to the "New Human Calendar". There will be no real changes to anyone's life, and it is basically modified Gregorian.
This NHC is based off a formula that corrects for the natural slowdown of the Earth's rotation, although not entirely; it is, according to the Socialist Party, "A more perfect Calendar, not bound by constraints such as Religion and accounting for the changes in human Society and Earth itself".
In addition, SEU has made it mandatory to vaccinate Children to certain diseases, with no exceptions whatsoever. In this list is:
    • Measles, an infamous Child Killer; the vaccine was just developed this year.
    • Polio, leaving people disabled for life.
    • Smallpox, for obvious reasons. SEU retains around 500 samples as biological weapons in 4 labs in Siberia. A containment breach could prove catastrophic.
    • Yellow Fever
    • Rabies, infamously lethal.
    SEU Agriculture:
Ukraine: Massive net food surplus; feeds all of Eastern Europe, including...
    • Itself.
    • Balkan Federation
    • Greater German Republic
This is accomplished through SEU attempts at renewable and efficient farming; this was one of the SEU government's biggest successes, allowing SEU to import minimal food from outside.
The farming in Ukraine is very well managed. The Black Earth has been very well preserved and maintained despite much farming, although this has meant that SEU is forced to import food from many different nations, such as India.
Belarus: Net food surplus; farming and industry go hand in hand, and some of the Ukrainian Black Earth, famously fertile, is in Belarus as well.
Kazakhstan: Net food shortage for obvious reasons; it's like the Sunayyad Caliphate, just miniaturized and without even South Sudan's soil to work with.
Russia: Large net food surplus; they can most certainly feed themselves, and the SEU Government owns many fields personally; this is because they need to buy Meat from somewhere, and they need the money to do so..
China: Massive food shortage; (relatively) little farmland and huge population, despite the Government's best efforts. Also, a lot of farmland is contaminated with heavy metals.
Korea: Massive food shortage. Large population and low farmland, although the whole "Heavy Metal" thing isn't as much of a problem.
Australia: Food neutral. Low population and low farmland.
Where once SEU was very food-dependent, every household, even lower-income ones, can depend on a Chicken or Pork being cheaply and readily available at least once a week. Beef is a luxury product, as SEU does not posses enough farmland to actually make beef available to its people.
SEU went all in on cheap meat, cheap grains, and cheap food. The Socialist Party managed carefully their limited arable land to make food available to all. It was not easy, but there's a reason the Socialist Party is still in power despite their inability to understand human rights, and thus inability to respect them. They are good at management.
The USA is probably the World's biggest food exporter. The very diminished but not dead US Government has used the Volcanic Soil of Yellowstone to create the World's biggest agricultural fields.

  7. Education in Sunayyad Caliphate

    Sunayyad Caliphate Minister(s) of Education:
    Rafi Peretz (Jewish)
    Ramalaan el-Mustafa (Arabic)
    Dervis Agaoglu (Turkish)

Education in the Caliphate is state and private run and is nearly the same everywhere with language and religious exceptions.
An Education is compulsory for children ages 6-18, at Kindergarten, Primary, Middle, and Tertiary (highschool).

    Kindergarten: Ages 5
    Primary: grades 1-6, ages 6-12
    Middle: grades 7-9, ages 12-15
    Tertiary: grades 10-12, ages 15-18

    Post-Tertiary Education:
    State University/College.

Schooling periods start from early September to mid June. State Holidays include a 2 week period of winter break in January, and a 2 week period of spring break in April. Other holidays include some days off for Jewish or (rarely) Christian students, as well as Muslim holidays. Other Holiday include New Years, Founding Day (When the Caliphate was founded), and others (will talk about it in later post).

Schools times are posted as 8:30 am-3:00 pm from Monday to Friday.

    Basics:
The SC highly values great education, as an associate to the Caliphate's main goal to make a long lasting empire; having a well educated society is a start to a long lasting nation.

School around the entire nation is relatively the same, except for example Israel, which may have classes and programs which teach students of their past and support their language. Every main language has at least a few schools, like Kurdish schools.

Boys and girls attend the same school, except for the Holy Islamic State where gender is separate. Basic subjects are taught, and students are taught to excel in mathematics, languages, and other school subjects, while also leaving the schooling system as well behaved and civilized citizens of society.

Mathematics: Prime mathematical education is taught, from one apple plus one apple to calculus. However, students are taught all mathematical areas that they will definitely use in the future. Advance and complex math can be chosen by the student's wishes or if Post-Tertiary University degrees require it.

Sciences: Students are taught through biology, chemistry, physics, etc. Evolution is taught, but in a way only to give knowledge to what it is, and never to flat out support it. The Islamic world creation view is taught, and the Jewish to their students.

Languages: Schools will teach in a regions respected language or in large groups of first language speakers in a totally different language region. To make life easier, the main language, Arabic, is taught to all children as a requirement, with languages like English, Turkish, Persian, Hebrew, Kurdish as options to non-speakers of those languages, and in complex and large campuses, lesser languages like Chinese and even Germany can be taught optionally as well. The minister of education expects most of the populous to understand Arabic within the next 40 years as generations move on.

Literary Studies: Adapts to the language you are learning in, but students read, write, and learn to spell and use proper grammar.

Social Studies/History: World History is taught, especially Middle Eastern and the regions related, as insisted by 1st Caliph Mehmet. Jewish students may be taught their own cultural history, and vice versa. In social studies students learn about the Sunayyad Caliphate as a whole, including the government, etc. Current events are also spoken on, and the SEU may or may not have a bit of slander to their name...

Religion: This is taught in every single schooling system and dominantly teaches the Koran. Students are required to memorize it, and are taught life Morales, and the seven pillars of Islam. Musawaism ideals are taught almost everywhere, except for the Holy Islamic State. In Israel Jewish students are taught by the Torah, but must also have a basic understanding of Islamic scripture. So far only one school in the entire Caliphate teaches the Bible.

Arts: Students are encouraged to take arts, drama and music classes. Some schools can afford teaching students instruments, and most have a choir team. The Ministry of Education values art as a way to grow societies creativity and love for culture and art.

Applied Skills: Not every school can afford it, but most can. These are post-education skills, and helpful ones at that, such as sewing, cooking, agriculture education, carpentry, mechanics (only in very rich institutions), and others. These courses are for setting up students with skills they can apply into adult life.

Career and Health: Teaching students for the real world, not only how to behave in society but also how to pay taxes, pay for a house or car, find a job or a passion, how to handle relationships, how to keep your diet and body healthy, and how to live in Allah's glory.

Physical Education: These include teaching students sports and how to live a fit and healthy life.

After "High school" students receive a diploma during graduation and set for the real world. Many decide to find jobs that require a diploma, such as jobs in business etc. Others may delve into mechanics or construction, and most dropouts go straight to working in a factory or on a farm or fishery. Those who go to University level education may find themselves as a scientist, an engineer, medical doctor, architect, etc.

However, the SCAF has a mandatory service program, meaning males MUST complete nearly 16 months of military training and defense service anytime between the ages of 18-28. This does not include being deployed, unless war is in action. This provides a stable population ready to defend the Caliphate and fight for it's freedom. Many choose to enter the Mandatory Service Training immediately after High school and return to society to delve into university.

Students leave the schooling system with knowledge and with respectful and behaved manners for society, with a strong religious sense and an allegiance to the Caliph.

The budget for the education in the Caliphate is very high, and is a ministry that is always developing. The Caliphate values education very highly, and it is no wonder why.

  8. SC Holidays:
Calendar in use: Gregorian, however some regions may use variants alongside the Gregorian like the Islamic Calendar, but Gregorian is the state and official Calendars.

OOC: I have little time to make a giant list of dates
  9. SEU has declared war on absolute poverty.
There should be no person in SEU that makes less than 0.25 Soci per day. In any Socialist country, really. SEU has actually reduced that rate to around 0.5% of the population, and SEU decides it is to completely destroy it. In addition, SEU has urged other nations of its faction to take action to protect the environment and to reduce inequality; SEU will assist them as best it can. SEU states that some poverty is acceptable, but that such a level of poverty is a plight.
  10. SEU vs Democracy activists
    Activists: Democracy!
    SEU: Why?
Activists: Because Democracy allows for freedom!
SEU: And why is freedom important?
Activists: Because freedom is a human right, and everyone has the right to make their own choices.
SEU: FOR THE LAST ****ING TIME, HUMAN RIGHTS IS A FICTIONAL CONCEPT. Humans have no inherent dignity. Democracy is nice, yeah. But it is far from non-negotiable. It is very negotiable.
Activists: WTF? People are dying thanks to you, and let's not even get into your oppressions of Tibetans. You just don't do stuff like that, that is wrong.
Socialist Party: We are making an investment in the most glorious enterprise on Earth. The End Goal is freedom, prosperity, and Free Love. The Party exists to fulfill this goal. It will take sacrifice, but it will be worth it. We have a plan. We have a goal. We have a road. We have a map. It will take a long march, but humanity will ascend to the stars and godhood. Care to join us?
Activist: Your plan involves literal brainwashing and propaganda.
Socialist Party: Why is that a bad thing?
Repeat Ad infinitum. They can never agree, because they have a fundamentally different set of ideals.
  11. (This is me leaving NN, it was fun while it lasted, but I feel like that this is more of a "chore" than it is a game for me, so I'm going to leave now. I appreciate the time I had on here, but it's just not in my interest to continue it. I'll write a story for how RUM collapses, but then I'm gone.)

RUM suffers severe economic and political issues right before the election comes. The people of RUM are reaching starvation wages while capitalism chokes the economy hard. Fortunately, the 3rd party candidate did not go unheard, as the people of RUM overthrow the government and disolves the entire capitalist "regime" under RUM's current leader. The entire nation collapses with people breaking away from one another, to the point that the government is unable to function and keep control of all the subdivided groups of people who broke away from the government. The current leader of RUM is no longer the leader and goes into hiding. The ideas of socialism did not go unheard from the SEU, and these little colonies of people take notes and implement a bit of socialism where they live, hoping to not repeat what RUM did, but without a leader or anyone "owning" the land they live on, no one is for sure how they will function as a nation, or as tiny colonies, before a larger, more powerful and well-developed nation, takes them over. Or will they die off as a failed society in shattered ruins? Capitalism choked RUM to death, to the point it collapsed.

May the best of luck be to those who take RUM's land. (Including the land that was already radiated from the nuclear radiation from their failed nuclear plants.)
    Otus_NigRum likes this.
  12. After RUM collapses, the Caliphate takes its toll and sends a Peacekeeping force into the region, sending aid and establishing control.

Apart of the rubble of various groups and militias attempting to gain control is a capitalist one; however, it is not linked to the past President's party. The group is a Libertarian Capitalist group which believes in making Mexico a massive economic powerhouse while providing the citizens with much needed aid.

The group is the CCM, or the Central Capitalist Movement, an underdog which has become a massive force with millions of supporters. Many socialist people in the country believe it's the reincarnation of the past Presidency, however, they are wrong.
They believe in making the government less powerful and to give liberty to the individual, while also avoiding having a massive hand in the economy. However, they also believe in helping the people, so healthcare and other quality of life issues are big things which must be addressed.

The Caliphate actively supports this group, and have assisted them in an overall takeover of the Mexican Government, which will gain results in 2 posts.
  13. Panama decides that it's high time to attack what was once RUM; it's now or never.
Panama mobilizes 25,000 troops to attack Costa Rica; it's a large division's worth, but RUM is in so much disarray that they encounter 0 resistance. SEU asks them to not annex Costa Rica, but that turning it into a Socialist State is okay. Panama, realizing they cannot effectively rule such a large area begins the process of turning CR into a puppet state.
  14. I took a political compass test as SEU... and well...

SEU's not quite as authoritarian as anticipated, but definitely left-wing for obvious reasons.
    Otus_NigRum likes this.
  15. Is there a possibility that I can get back into this or is it to far along?
  16. Never far too along lol
  17. lol can I have a list of what countries are not taken please?
  18. The map will do.
  19. SEU acts to crush internal dissent.
To this end, certain cults have bene removed. In addition, censorship has been slightly increased. However, the overall level has fallen thanks to Khruschev's policies, although the recent upturn is mostly directed against Democracy activists. SEU really hates Democracy activists, as SEU wants Democracy also, just later, and SEU views Democracy activists as unwise and spoiled.
SEU has also increased Social Benefits, as the Economy is looking up and the coffers are more full than ever. This will make the SEU propaganda less propaganda and more news, as SEU will increase benefits for the poor as well as increased spending on infrastrcuture.
  20. The Roman Union is currently attempting (and failing) at bringing down the Balkan Federation; they want to bring it down in order to directly confront the Sunayyad Caliphate. However, backing terrorist groups are failing badly.
At the end of the day, the Union is a infighting semi-mess that is only united by fear of the Caliphate and Islam. This means they can't work together. That's basically their whole existence summed up, united by fear.
