[FORUM GAME] New Nations

Discussion in 'Forum Games' started by Warlord678, Feb 28, 2019.

  1. The SNE's energy is mainly non-renewable (64%) but they are currently trying to fix it. Factories need a lot of energy and non-renewable is efficient

    No data for individual countries.
  2. The SEUN decides that with the Caliphate Navy having an unknown amount of Supercarriers (Otus, how many are you really building?) and them enacting a naval expansion program, the SEUN really needs to step up its game. The year is 1955, and SEU is commissioning a new class of Supercarrier.
    Tang-Class Aircraft Carrier:
    66,316 tons displacement standard load.
    34 knots
17,500 nautical miles at 15 knots
    60-90 planes
    CATOBAR
An incremental improvement on the Admiral Kuznetsov-Class Carrier, it has many minor improvements and the hull form is greatly improved for speed. It has excellent fuel economy and has newer technologies that the Admiral Kuznetsov-Class lack, including improved elevator placement and Nuclear Carrier conversion capability. The catapults are of a newer model, operate faster and can get the Air group into the Air faster. The Su-12Voy is carried by this Carrier, the newest model of SEU Naval Fighter.
The SEUN, knowing that the Caliphate has lots of money but less industrial capability (Basically, the Caliphate can afford a large military. Their ability to build this military indigenously is questionable.) decides to always outnumber the Caliphate by at least 2 Supercarriers, and SNE by 3.
The People's Congress has approved the procurement of 2.
  3. The X-5, the world's first fully operational ICBM launches the world's first satellite into space by the Sunayyad Caliphate
[GOING TO WRITE ABOUT IT IN A SECOND, JUST CLAIMING MY SPOT]
  4. SEU decides to one-up the Caliphate.
They had plans to launch a dude into space by 1959 and a satellite by 1957, but they need to step up their game. SEU immediately pulls funding from the procurement of Su-12Voys into the creating of a second launch vehicle for their own satellite. The Navy is not pleased, but SEU needs to get their own whatever into space, fast.
  5. The X-5 ICBM launch was a success, reaching over 6,000 km. Two different X-5 missiles were launched. The first was a non loaded attempt shot into orbit from a military base in Turkey. The next was sent into space carrying the artificial satellite, Gök 1.

Not a pretty name, but it doesn't need to be now that the Caliphate is the world's first nation to launch a satellite into space, allowing for the Islamic Space Agency to gain valuable information on the ionosphere and space itself. A break through in science really.

The Caliphate now has more and completed plans, to arm it with a 250 kilo nuclear warhead, and those plans have worked. In any case, a few dozen more of the X-5 are being planned to reach orbit and detonate on earth with no warheads.

The Caliphate military is adopting the strategic style of not having to have the biggest army in the world, but the biggest nuclear arsenal, as they plan to one up the SEU in everything they do (More than likely the SEU's industry will pump out a bigger arsenal). That's why the Caliphate is making sure to downsize their manpower and upgrade their nuclear power, maybe a bad idea, but lets face it, whether the Caliphate pours money into land forces or not, without nuclear defense an angry SEU could bulldoze them easily.

That's why a Nuclear Triad is coming into play...
    Strategic Bombing?: Check?
    ICBMs?: Checked now!
Ballistic Submarines: Will be checked off pretty damn fast!

With one of the world's first nuclear submarines on the way, the Nammu, the Cal. Navy is optimizing for it to fit nuclear missiles, and designs for a SLBM are close to completion. The P-1 Polaris, the SLBM set to the Nammu is given 2 years of time of production. Currently, the Navy is arguing over their nuclear deterrent role, opting to produce the P-1 line of SLBM's and the rest of the SLBM's in the future.

    Timeline:
1955: World's first ICBM X-5 is launched, along with Gok 1 into space
1955: SCS Nammu, world's first Nuclear Submarine launches
1956: SCS Nammu first submerged transit of the North Pole
1956-???: Greater development of the nuclear Triad and dozens more satellites launched into space.
1961: Possibility of launching human into space.

Although the Caliphate is much farther in satellite production than the SEU, the SEU is much farther in human space travel than the Caliphate, as the Caliphate has only launched 1 dog in its test (it was a fail).
  6. SEU invented the World's first Nuclear Submarine and is much further along than the Caliphate, as in they are starting to test using it in larger vessels.
However, SEU's satellites are as of yet inferior to the Caliphate, as are their payloads. SEU has some very good scientists, but the scientists were underfunded until now in favor of small missiles such as anti-ship and antiaircraft missiles. Basically, SEU's ICBM scientists were passed up in favor of SEU short-range missile scientists.
That is about to change. However, their life support technology is much further along, compact and efficient because they accidentally turned 4 chimps and countless insects into varying types of fleshy mash or carcass and have learned from it.
  7. Best of WW2:
    • Best Low-Caliber AA weapon: Swiss Oerlikon 20mm
      • The SEU Navy once valued firing rate over amount of steel. Therefore, SEU and the Caliphate both contracted Oerlikon to make a AA gun that would defend against lighter Aircraft. Oerlikon already had designs in the works and just pulled it out. Both navies rejected the design, and Oerlikon came out with a new design. This was much better, and both the Caliphate and SEU took it. This proved to be very disastrous for SEU, but not the Caliphate.
    • Best Medium-Caliber AA weapon: Swedish Bofors 40mm, more specifically SEU version.
      • The SEU Navy demanded a weapon from the UBR Bofors firm that was kind of unreasonable, expecting it to be cheap, easily producible, reliable, and effective. Bofors did the best they could, and sent it to SEU. It was far from ideal, but it was good enough. It was at this stage the Caliphate bought the license and started manufacture. SEU however was unsatisfied and started tinkering with it. The 20mm Oerlikon (mentioned above) had been a disaster for SEU; their Battleships got hit by a total of 128 kamikaze and the 20mm Oerlikon was ineffective. SEU turned it into a near-ideal weapon, the only drawback being too many operators.
    • Best Dual-Purpose/Large-Caliber AA weapon: SEU/Caliphate Navy 127mm gun
      • SEU and the Caliphate had both arrived at the same conclusion regarding dual-purpose weapons, namely that a 4-5 inch caliber was ideal. Both sides conducted espionage against each other, and this meant that the end result weapons were basically identical and had incredibly similar performance. Given, the SEU proximity fuse kind of made the SEU 127mm much better, but still.
    • Best Small-Caliber Cruiser Gun: SNE 8-inch gun 6o-Caliber gun
      • SNE designed this weapon with an 8-inch Caliber. It was powerful, had a long range, and was a whopping 60 Calibers. Shell for shell, this gun was unmatched as Cruiser armament. The SEU 55-Caliber 203mm gun had a ridiculously fast fire rate that meant that it far outstripped the SNE 8-inch 60 Caliber in actual combat, but that was the autoloader and not the gun itself.
    • Best Large-Caliber Battleship Gun: SEU 457mm 50-Caliber gun
      • This thing is an engineering marvel, combining reasonable accuracy, heavy shell weight and a strong armor penetration capability with lightness. Despite the SNE 18-inch gun being fast-firing, it was heavy and unsuited for long-range combat. The Caliphate 18-inch gun had inferior specifications and was only marginally lighter than the SEU gun. Basically, the SEU gun could do everything the other guns did but better, the only drawback being low projectile speed (remedied with supercharges but increased unreliability).
    • Best Tank: Sunayyad Caliphate M1 Saladin
      • With a general-purpose 75mm gun and all-around decent specifications, the Saladin was superior to the T-34 in almost every respect except cost and ease of production (really the only benefit of the T-34. Ridiculously easy to make.). The T-34 was a learning experience for SEU, in that they found reliability was a very important factor. While outclassed by the SNE Panthers, the Panthers were not easy to produce and the M1 outclassed the Panzer IVs of SNE.
    • Best Fighter: SNE Bf 109
      • None, and I mean none of the Caliphate or SEU Fighters could match up to this. It combined the best of everything into one plane. The Bf 109 was a powerful jet that was competitive with any Caliphate or SEU fighter, even if the their enemies were more advanced. The Bf 109 continues to serve in the SNE Air Force and civilian applications to this day, despite the appearance of fighters that far outclass it, such as the MiG-21 or Su-12.
    • Best Ground Support Aircraft: SEU Il-2
      • Legendary. The most produced military aircraft in history. The Il-2 was the unmatched best in ground support. Difficult to shoot down and with heavy armament, this thing was a terror of the sky and would be treated as bread and butter by the Black Army. The Il-2 would go on to influence the Su-25, 40 years later as the SEU leaders wanted a modern version of the flying tank.
    • Best Standard Issue Pistol: Caliphate M1911
      • At a time where SEU was using revolvers as many of their standard issue pistols, the Caliphate pioneered a modern design that would rock the world of Pistol development forever. SEU and SNE quickly caught on, but their Pistol models were never quite as good.
    • Best Standard Issue Rifle: Caliphate M1
      • Semi-Automatic was a big thing, and it was more reliable than the SEU SVT-40 that was also semiautomatic. The SNE used a bolt-action rifle, and despite the fact SNE favored this rifle because of the M1's terrible sight, it proved deadly effective against Italians at Libya.
    • Best Rations: SEU
      • Generous supplies of meat and a comprehensive ration system with field kitchens and hard-to-break tins meant that the SEU troops had high morale. Caliphate Rations provided less calories and less protein for soldiers. SNE rations were better, but prone to breakage and spoiling.
    • Biggest Winners: SEU and SNE and Italy, SNE and Italy more so than SEU.
      • WINNER: SEU basically got rich, became the strongest nation on earth and learned a lot on the military with relatively few losses compared to the other two powers. WW2 set the stage for SEU becoming very, very rich, and very, very powerful.
      • WINNER: SNE. Their Pan-European cultural identity was confirmed in the face of SEU and the Caliphate threatening to destroy them. This was a gift that was greater than any other. Europe unified in the face of external threat.
      • WINNER: Italy. Gained a massive chunk of territory and became very powerful on the world stage, and they began the era of Third Rome.
      • LOSER: Sunayyad Caliphate. They ended this at more or less where they started and gained only more desert, but their enemies became stronger. Much stronger.
      • LOSER: India. Got nuked and became even more divided than before; after WW2, there was a very real possibility India would have fractured.
      • LOSER: Japan. They got absolutely humiliated. I need not say anything about what SEU did to Japan.
    Worst of WW2: (shorter list)
    • AA Gun: Japanese 25mm.
      • Where do I begin? Unreliable. Breaks constantly. Massive muzzle flashes. Shakes a lot. Low fire rate, low muzzle velocity, light projectile. And that was their best AA gun. There were worse ones.
    • Worst Large-Caliber Battleship Gun: SEU 406mm Mark 1.
      • Prone to exploding. Inaccurate. Unreliable. Low fire rate. Excessively heavy. It's no wonder SEU reworked this from scratch.

  8. The Sunayyad government is becoming very secular to international appearances. Although inside the Empire, religion and Islam runs a lot of things, the government finds little need to have a government which focuses on international arrangements religiously. And this is good, they can open up to christian communities and Europeans without having a big badge of Islam (although killing the pope still gives them a terrible representation).

All trade and business is secular, all treaties and what not are done non religiously. The Caliphate is adapting to the new world.

    Caliphs Pro:
    1. 1st Caliph: known for being a great religious leader, basically uniting the Islamic religion. Although divisions such as Shia and Sunni can not be fully healed, they were repaired better than anyone could.
    2. Sultan Abiwa: Greatest military expansion, ultimately set the stage for the Caliphate's war machine in WW2.
    3. Ibn Saud: Very organized, strong ruler who doesn't let anyone get in his way, easily kept everything under control and expanded industry.
    4. Ashqar Ayyad: Basically reshaped the Islamic Faith through Musawaism from his brothers teachings, improved the economy and quality of life and infrastructure in the Caliphate, modernizing it.
    Caliphs Faults:
    1. 1st Caliph: Killed the pope and burned Vatican down, biggest mistake ever as it effects the Caliphate a lot, but there are actually minor festivals in more conservative communities which literally celebrate the assassination of the pope. Is stuck in the past.
    2. Sultan Abiwa: Did little to improve the economy, kicked the 1st Caliph out and attempted a ruling process, was eventually ceremonially killed.
    3. Ibn Saud: Horrible human rights leader, forced the burka, extreme Sharia Law, Wahhabism, persecution of non muslims and even non-arab muslims.
    4. [Nothing wrong that I can tell as of now, maybe someone could fill this spot]
LIMITED INFORMATION ON THE 1ST CALIPH:
    Name: Mehmet El-Ayyad
    Date of Birth: 1880
    Born: Mecca in Arabia
Age at the start of his rule: 40
Age of death in 1945: 65
    Cause of Death: Assassination
Role: Islamic Leader, Political Leader, Military Commander.
This information was leaked at a holy ceremony in Mecca during Ramadan, which Ashqar was celebrating. He gave the information of his brother and let him finally rest.
This means that Ashqar was born nearly 15 years after his brother in 1895, making him nearly 60 years old. Everyone notes him as being very young looking however, as he is mostly vegetarian and due to his access to many things, grew up incredibly healthy, making him look 10 years younger than most Socialist officials.
  9. New Babylon is looking like a great utopia now that it is complete.
The city has reached an impeccable 300,000 people within its walls, making it the world's largest walled city, however, expansion outside of the walls in New Babylon's territory could make it a 1 million city, although it will never reach that expansion.

The city is mostly made of brick, with fashionable architect such as a plethora of beautiful brick houses painted white and sometimes even coloured. The city is nothing short of activity, with hundreds of vendours, a flourishing market place selling nearly everything, and even a shopping mall. At night the city is lit up with beautiful lamps which color the paved streets. Although remodeled with an ancient touch, the city is not short of very modern attributes, as there is a museum in the style of a glass structure.

The Tigris runs through the city, and expels a vast aroma of cleanness (seriously, the river is very well protected, run off is nearly impossible to get into it on its own, and anyone seen polluting the waters can see 1 year of prison.

Palm trees and green grasses fill throughout the city, and hanging pots and plants flourish from peoples homes. Colourful murals dot the sides of buildings, and flags and clothes are tied between buildings. It has a high hotel population, with the two biggest in the Caliphate, making it a destination for many tourists. The Hanging gardens spills in the middle, as a model of the ancient version, however with a much more grand appearance.

The cities industry is run by business, oil is obviously a main contender to the costly spending of the city, but the vast amount of private businesses in the walls, shops and office towers makes it an economy of its own.

The city is powered by a hydro dam and wind energy which is easy to accomplish with the open terrain. Soon, nuclear energy will become optimal, but in the near future. So far, the Caliphate has 3 nuclear plants, one being very much operational, and the other 2 being on a smaller yet notable scale.

An aquifer and the river gives the city its water supply.
Cars are quite rare inside the city actually, as travelling by bicycle is much more popular and bus/street train.
If population and traffic numbers rise, the municipality is due to construct a metro station under the city, which already has plans on its construction.

As for Baghdad, reforms have led the city to inspiration as a world education site, having the most universities and educational platforms in the entire Caliphate.
  10. SEU has launched an experimental launch vehicle. It was a success.
It only had a sack of sand as the "Payload", but it proved that the SEU R-7 Ballistic Missile can deliver payloads. The R-7 is good, but noticeably worse than the Caliphate X-5. The R-7 will carry the Sputnik 1 Satellite. SEU expects that its orbital path will be incredibly erratic. However, Sputnik 1 will not be finished until June 1 1955.
This means SEU has time to produce several additional R-7 and another Sputnik. SEU has decided to delay the launch until September 1st to make room for Sputnik 2 and 1 to be launched at the same time.
SEU is planning new launch vehicles, to for example launch a person into space.
SEU is planning the monstrous N1-13 to launch a dude into the moon. 3 dudes, in fact. However, the N1-13 is in the conceptual stage and as of now would take 12 years at least to completely create. In addition, the design is rather ridiculous. Technology has not yet caught up to SEU ambition.
  11. The SEU Economic Growth is slowing down as expected.
SEU has launched a campaign of "THREE CHILDREN POLICY".
SEU is basically stating that every woman having two to three children is the best possible option.
But the thing is, having 2-3 children is financially draining. So SEU is extensively raising taxes across the board to support one group; mothers. SEU is also draining benefits from non-married or no children women to encourage all women to have two to three children.
This is not really popular, but having children is much easier now, and a path to financial security is now very clear; life is much, much easier in the SEU now.
SEU has started to show off the Palace of the Soviets. The tallest and most spacious building in the world, it's no wonder why SEU shows it off.
In any case, SEU is outlawing Coal Power plants near cities. Instead, Nuclear Power Plants of the LWR design will be used.
In addition, SEU has made the decision to procure the second Tang-Class Supercarrier as a mixed Nuclear-Oil design. The Nuclear propulsion is for long-term voyages and for keeping up with the new Gongying-Class Supply ships which have a speed of 20 knots. The Oil Propulsion is for going really really fast. The Nuclear Propulsion will be used much more often.
Therefore, the new ship (Shu Han) will be a class of its own, while the next Supercarriers will be solely Nuclear-Powered.
  12. Someone tried to assassinate Deng Xiaoping. They did not succeed, all the measures SEU took to protect the PL actually worked. The round bounced off the SEU PL vehicle and the second round was unable to pierce the reinforced glass.
They used a SEU 7.62x54mmR Mosin-Nagant round but that might have been an attempt to throw off SEU authorities. For example, let us say the SNE tried to kill him. They might have used a Mauser 98, but to throw off suspicion (because using a Mauser 98 would obviously attract attention to the SNE, which manufactures and issues this Rifle) they might use a SEU-standard issue Mosin-Nagant.
However, SEU is well aware of the fact that the PL is vulnerable to attack and is but a man. In any case, SEU will take greater protective measures. In any case, Deng joked that the armored car did its job and that he was alive. He was flown back to Beijing first in a Mi-8 and then Presidential Jet, where he wrote a letter that basically stated that he would continue governing as normal.
After extensive debate, SEU has agreed on a plan; SEU will acquire Shu Han as a solely Nuclear-Powered ship. If anything goes horribly wrong, it'll be on a relatively cheap hull.
In any case, SEU has decided to up the standard displacement of their Carriers to 90,000 tons, (a 40% increase.) This will give them greatly improve capabilities, as well as justify the cost of Nuclear Propulsion. While this second generation of Nuclear Supercarriers is still under research, it will take time to make it cost-effective, especially when SEU has already ordered 2 new Supercarriers.
  13. How many aircraft carriers and super carriers do you have warlord? just need to know so I can set a realistic number for the Caliphate.

In achieving greater naval warfare, the Caliphate Navy now with more control over the P-1 Polaris program funds the SLBM's production and expects it to be armed to the Nammu 6 months earlier (Pg. 72)
The Nammu SSN (soon to be ballistic SSBN) is set to submerge the north pole next year, with the help of the Canadian Royal Navy.
The Navy is also focusing on nuclear powered ships, much like the SEU, and pushes their nuclear funds into powering their aircraft carriers and massive ships via nuclear energy.

Just like Deng Xiaoping oddly enough, Ayyad and the Islamic Council have been on the verge of attempted assassination, as in nearly 2 weeks multiple *serious* death threats have been sent to the Sunayyad Government, especially to the top of the ranks, and even to the "Divine Choosers," the ones in Islamic tradition who have god given rights to choose the Caliph.
As of yet, the senders of the letters have not been located, although once they do, they will feel Masif wrath (Yes, the Masif Corp is still alive and well)

Even in South Iberia, a close call with Musawai Brotherhood Co-Leader and Mentor Muhammed Al-Hassan, who saw his near assassination. In a meeting with Catholic leaders in Madrid, Al-Hassan's protected convoy was shot at with rifles as he left the chapel where the meeting took place. Luckily, the shooter shot the wrong vehicles, allowing Al-Hassan to escape, and only minimizing 1 injury, which was the gun shot of the mistaken accountant of Al-Hassan.
Something's brewing, the Catholics and the Muslims have a fight to pick..
  14. SEU has 4 operational, 1 being built, 1 being designed, and 2 in a fierce debate as to scrap them or not.
    • Admiral Kuznetsov:
      Bureaucratic Limbo.
One of the original converts from the older and crappy Beijing-Class. SEU is considering scrapping her to make money for the 2 new Supercarriers because she is costing way too much to upkeep. The only thing stopping them from actually doing so is the fact that the research isn't in yet on whether it would be more economical.
    • Jang Bo Go: Bureaucratic Limbo. The second and last of the converts. Also being considered for scrapping because of her terrible economy and inefficient engines, which gives her abnormally short range for a Supercarrier. SEU has an excellent network of supply ships, but she just costs way more money than she needs to.
    • Chen Shaokuan: Undergoing maintenance. The first of the non-converts and the first of the actually economically viable ships, but being based on the terrible hulls of the Beijing-Class did not help her.
    • Socialist Australia: Ditto.
    • Volodymyr Velykyy: Operational. Minor improvements to other four but not enough to be her own subclass.
    • Socialistik Qazaqstan: Operational. Much improved hull design, however inefficient design of engines (common trait in class) means that she is not very economical.
    • Tang: Under construction and with various minor improvements that qualify her for her own class. Improved hull design, improved elevator placements
and optimized for the Su-12Voy. Too far along to add Nuclear Propulsion, so they just shifted it onto her sister ship. Construction began several months ago and will finish by 1957.
    • Shu Han: Being designed. SEU has decided to take the simplest approach and to simply stick Nuclear Reactors in place of Turbine Engines. Her design is a flawed first step and is a bit like the US's Enterprise, but less expensive. SEU is still working out the kinks in her design and it will begin construction by June 1st, 1955 and will likely finish in 4 years because of her innovative design.
    • Future Supercarrier: 90,000 tons standard displacement, full load displacement exceeding 100,000 tons. More and better catapults. More efficient propulsion. More planes. More aviation fuel. More everything. SEU's ambition, but not realistic at all yet.
    • Gen3 doesn't come along until the 1990s. Slow Down.

  15. WORLD NUCLEAR POWER AGREEMENT

With the immense power of the Nuclear and Thermonuclear Bombs, it has become suicidal for Nuclear Powers to wage war against one another. However, it is an inevitable fact of life that people are flawed beings, and that one way or another, man will find excuses to destroy itself, no matter how idiotic, mad, and insane these excuses may be. It is inevitable that one day, the great powers of the World will find themselves launching their Strategic Bombers and Nuclear Weapons against one another if one relies on the sanity, integrity and self-preservation instincts of humankind as history has clearly demonstrated that these are unreliable in many scenarios. The Mutually Assured Destruction doctrine which has for now dictated the Nuclear Weapons doctrine of all current sides is based on the sanity and intelligence of man.
However, man is far from sane or intelligent.
Relying on such factors to prevent the extinction of the Human Race will end with the extinction of the Human Race. Reliance on man being anything good is a very bad idea.
In order to prevent a scenario where humans make themselves extinct, SEU proposes a certain set of rules for warfare against other Nuclear Powers, so that complete catastrophe and the extinction of the Human Race may be averted.
Rule 1: Nuclear Attack may only be used when a Nuclear Attack on one's soil is imminent.
Rule 2: Wars should preferably be fought on the soil of non-Nuclear powers to avoid any possible reason for Nuclear Powers to use their Nuclear Weapons on each other. Wars are to be avoided if possible at all, because wars tend to cause damage to the economy, worsen global relations and create human suffering.
Rule 3: Nuclear War is to be treated as the worst possible scenario. A single Nuclear Weapon flying, even if between powers that cannot end the world with their relatively small arsenals is to be treated as a full-scale emergency.
Rule 4: Nuclear Testing is to be carried out underground where the Radiation cannot spread and poison the Earth, creating higher rates of Cancer and disease. It has already been estimated that Cancer rates have grown by [REDACTED]% because of Nuclear Testing.
Rule 5: The detonation of Nuclear Weapons in Space or extraterrestrial bodies is prohibited. According to theoretical models made by SEU scientists, it could have a disastrous effect on Electronics and detonating Nuclear Weapons on extraterrestrial bodies could have unpredictable effects.
SEU is faced with a dilemma.
    SEU has three options.
They have 2 leftover Supercarriers that are ineffective for any purpose. They only drain money from the SEU coffers.
    • Option 1: Scrap them.
    • Option 2: Sell them to the UBR after making modifications.
    • Option 3: Sell them to the DRC after making modifications.
    All three are bad.
Option 1? SEU does not profit.
    Option 2? DRC gets angry.
    Option 3? UBR gets angry.
They can't split the Carriers. One needs at least 2 at any one time to keep at least 1 operational. In addition, they have terrible engine design and guzzles fuel. The catapults suck.
SEU decides that refitting the Carriers with STOBAR will reduce cost. While SEU would trust UBR with a steam catapult carrier, it would be absurdly expensive to actually run it for UBR and it's likely they would refuse.
SEU says "to heck with it" and decides to sell to the highest bidder.
  16. The Caliphate Navy currently has 2 operating Supercarriers and 1 in design.
Currently, the only Caliphate ally which has an aircraft carrier is the NAE, however it is quite small, only carrying 50 aircraft, smaller than the Fatima II, able to carry nearly 70-90 aircraft by the Caliphate navy, however to the NAE, it is a massive asset and goes above and beyond what their navy could have been doomed to be.
The Fatima II is in lower numbers, but highly advanced with AA and Anti-Ship and defense systems, as well as catapult systems in place.

The Sunayyad Caliphate agrees to the World Nuclear Power Agreement. The only reason the Sunayyad Caliphate has nuclear weaponry is to defend themselves. Frankly, they don't trust the SEU, they knew their secret ambition to take Turkey a few decades ago, and their countless insurgencies against the Caliphate (S. Nubia, Iberia, *possibly Israel*)

The Caliphate only wants to prevent being invaded.
No one likes to be invaded, it ruins your economy and progress and ultimately causes suffering on both sides.
If India, the SEU, SNE, or the New Roman Empire attempt to even take away the Caliphate's sovereignty, the Caliph will be forced to threat the pushing of the button, or actually press it.
  17. The SNE agrees to this. Like any Intelligent human, they don't want humans to go extinct. Also this lowers the fear of nuclear attack, because of the restrictions which is great.

OOC: sorry if I didn't catch it but where can they be tested like Detonations of these weapons.

Also, the SNE adds a branch/group to their government, "The Public Welfare Committee" . This part of the government focuses on helping out the public and providing jobs for those in need. Though the SNE is doing well economically, there have been points where unemployment spikes and jobs are scarce. In order to prevent this from happening again, this is created. They are building factories (which are using renewable and clean energy sources) and lending money to struggling businesses, but if the business fails after 2 loans from the government they receive no more. This is because of how expensive this can become.
  18. OOC: underground, usually in uninhabited regions where life is scarce and testing can be done safely.
The SNE has a problem however, there is very little amount of uninhabited land that would have little impact from a Nuclear explosion. The SEU has Siberia, and the Sunayyad Caliphate has the Sahara desert, the SNE is in need of a stronger nuclear arsenal.
  19. SEU's whole economic philosophy is "make them do good".
For example, companies may not want to pay a living wage.
SEU takes a gun, and then tells the company to pay a living wage or SEU will hunt them to the ends of the Earth.
For example, companies may not want to obey environmental regulation.
SEU takes a gun, and then tells the company to obey environmental regulation or SEU will steal all their stuff.
Basically, when SEU wants a company to do something (and they want companies to do many things), their most common go-to weapon is a gun and soldiers.
However, SEU does have very low tax rates for companies and lax environmental regulation.

  20. The SEU Army has decided to reduce many troops so that they can acquire more T-54s. They had been slightly sidelined because the Navy demanded Su-12Voy and 2 new Supercarriers, including 1 new design. The Air Force took the biggest hit for this and they were forced to scrap thousands (almost all remaining) of legacy MiG-15s and several hundred MiG-17s, and cut down on procurement of MiG-21s and Su-12Voss.
SEU offers the MiG-21 and Su-12Voss for members of the Soviet Union. The MiG-21 will be available in its undowngraded form for DRC and UBR. The rest of the Soviet Union can get the MiG-21FL, which has downgraded Radar and downgraded engines; even with these downgrades it is substantially superior to the MiG-17, which in turn is superior to any existing 1st generation Fighters. Most Socialist countries can't even afford any variant of the MiG-21.
Only SEU has any real use for the Su-12Vos. The Su-12Vos is a long-range fighter that is built for deep warfare as proposed by the legendary Marshal Zkukov, completely unneeded for self-defense. The MiG-21 does that job much better, the Su-12Vos is frankly made for offense. Given, the Su-12Vos is helpful for SEU because of SEU's vast territories because trying to use the MiG-21 in such a huge nation cannot end well in any scenario. The Su-12Vos is a fighter that is meant to suit SEU's needs and no one else's. The MiG-21 was designed with export in mind and by extension profit. The Su-12 (Voy and Vos) were designed with SEU's needs only.
As such, SEU hasn't even bothered to create an export model because of such little demand; there is precisely no nation on Earth that wants it.
However, the MiG-21 is in high demand. The thing is, SEU has a GDP that consists of 80% of the Soviet Union.
So isn't it a little bit odd that 40% of MiG-21 orders for Mikoyan-Gurevich company are coming from other nations?
In any case, progress is being made on the R-7 Ballistic Missile. It is decent, and works fine.
