The Caliphate notifies the SNE of their alliance wit Brazil and immediately sends cruisers, destroyers, submarines and the Fatima II aircraft carrier to defend Brazil. The Azores and Canary Islands are on high alert and are prepared to intercept the SNE's navy at all costs. Mainly through relentless air raids. The Masif Corp are quick to react and prepare defensive plans and offensive plans, and mobilize their troops. Invading Brazil is a bad idea, being an Ally of the Caliphate they are also the Caliphates biggest distributor of food. Ships specialized in specifically defending against commerce raids are being dispatched to escort trade convoys to the Caliphate, being quite productive as they had a lot of experience fighting off and somewhat defeating the SEU's commerce raiders in WW2. South American countries up for grabs: Peru Ecuador Bolivia Argentina Uruguay Paraguay The French Guinea places And possibly Venezuela if the SEU hasnt taken them yet. Colombia and Mexico aren't direct Caliphate allies, but are friends that the Caliphate may also defend. Again, the Caliphates speed allows them to dispatch instantly, reacting to threats like lightning. The Caliphate has prepared for a two front war, and watches the SNE and Balkan borders intensively.
After a period of extensive border clashes in between Panama and Colombia (they still hate each other's guts), SEU uses this as an excuse to deploy SEUS Volodymyr Velykyy and corresponding task force to the region. And then Venezuela and Colombia gets into a dispute over the Heavy Oil in the region. Namely, Venezuela has the largest deposits of Heavy Oil and Oil Sands in the World. However, Heavy Oil is not easy to process and so Venezuela's deposits are rather useless. However, the tech to refine said Oil is on the horizon and the Socialist leadership is determined to use the Oil money to strengthen the Economy in all areas and to diversify it as well as massively strengthen the military by buying lots of SEU Weapons, therefore turning Venezuela into the most powerful state in all of Northern South America that isn't the ridiculously large Brazil which Venezuela could not hope to surpass even with their Oil. Venezuela plans to file an application to join the Soviet Union soon, because joining the Soviet Union is a sign of pride and power, the true definition of a Developed and prosperous Nation. Now, this is at best concerning for Chile. But who cares? I don't. And then Colombia restarted the land disputes, this time over Oil. This kind of throws a wrench into the Venezuelan plan. Venezeula and Panama have teamed up to defeat Colombia and to show it who's boss. SEU assists them by providing bombing assistance from Su-8s and Su-12Voys.
The war is going well; SEU Su-12Voy prove overwhelmingly superior to the WW2-era Colombian fighters, as well as the Gen1 Jet Fighters. However, the Su-8 are the real MVPs. Because there is a lack of Su-12s due to the pause in military procurement, the Su-8 picks up the slack as a Gen1+ Fighter and does it well. The Venezuelan Army is well equipped with AK-47s and T-54s, while SEU gives them a few prototype T-54Bs for just this occasion. The Colombian Army tries and fails to defeat Panama; the SEUN and their Supercarrier is bombing their attempts at invasion, and the Venezuelan Army means that they cannot spare troops for invasion. The SEU demonstrate their aptitude for shore bombardment by deploying a few old Battleships to Bomb Coastal installations, the 280mm and 457mm being quite effective. The SEU Economy is not in any state to acctually fight a full-blown war, SEU is only helping a little.
Troops immediately move from Brazil to Argentina because of the ships sent from the Caliphate and the threat of war. This time a new strategy is employed that will hopefully make the process faster, which is extreme military force. Another 25,000 troops are sent which may cause some violence but that's fine with the SNE because it's the only way. The SNE promises protection and freedom as long as they provide to and join the SNE.
The MiG-21 has proved itself so overwhelmingly effective that SEU has decided to sell some MiG-15s and MiG-17s to their allies to get money to buy more MiG-21s, because SEU has no money to actually give the Air Force and the Air Force needs to make the money happen. Venezuela is happy that they can buy more jets to fight the Colombians with, and happily buys several hundred MiG-15s and another several hundred MiG-17s. The DRC decides to reinforce its Air Force and buys a few more MiG-17s, as well as place an order for 200 MiG-21s after this fiasco is over. The SEU now has money to buy another 100 MiG-21s and 80 Su-12s, and buys them immediately. The SEU currently has an inventory of 580 MiG-21s and 220 Su-12s, most of the rest are MiG-15s and MiG-17s as well as a few MiG-19s.
SEU has figured out that World War III, if it happens, will not be a conflict of grand land wars within the lands of the vast combines. Instead, it will be the combines and their massive spheres of influence fighting each other in order to destroy the spheres of influence. This is because any direct war between the massive superpowers would be suicidal; there would be Nuclear Weapons flying and no one would win, and everyone would die. SEU and the Caliphate alone posses thousands of Nuclear Weapons; put the rest together and you get around 10,000 total. More than enough to end the world. SEU realizes that WWIII would be a war between the superpowers would be one that would destroy the spheres of influence and to expand their own spheres of influence, because destroying the nation completely would be suicidal; destroying their influence would be far more efficient. Therefore, SEU has figured out how much they can stretch each nation before they decide that the Nuclear Option that would end the world would be prudent. Southern Socialists: India proper. Soviet Socialists (themselves): Soviet Union proper. Other places are fair game, because threatening to end the world over every dispute is not smart. Islamics: Sunayyad Caliphate. Attacking the Mecca by Cruise Missiles would also be a very good way for SEU to destroy itself. Capitalist Christians: Western Europe. That is their heartland and attacking it would be suicide. The Soviets are finally crawling out of the mess that is their depression, and the SEU Economic Growth Rate is increasing again and SEU has ordered a few more R-7 rockets, and refitting them to fit a capsule with a man in it. The Caliphate is hoping to send people into orbit very soon, devising various space capsules and designs gained from animal testings to find the best way possible to launch a human into space. The socialists will get a man in space first, however the Caliphate will literally be behind their tail in human space flight. The ICS Nammu SSN-nuclear submarine is the first in the world to fully complete a submerged transit of the North Pole (Warlord was the first to create a nuclear sub but never specificed anywhere transiting the North Pole) With the help of the Canadian Navy, it submerged the North Pole and was deemed a full success, also being an incredibly fast submarine and able to travel for insane distances. The P-1 Polaris is complete, and it is set to be fit on the SSBN Nammur, a close model to the SSN Nammu, but this time fitted with ballistic missile capabilities. The Nammur is being laid down and is set to launch next year (Pg. 74) Manufacturing is underway for the AI-5, being the Caliphate's first 2nd gen fighter and interceptor, and a supersonic one at that. It is quite sophisticated with advanced radar and fighter aircraft technologies while still being cheap and easy to produce. The MiG-21 could win in any fight 1 on 1 against an AI-5 (unless luck is perceived) 1 AI-5 vs 1 MiG-21: A win to the MiG-21, unless fighting against a very skilled ace. 2 AI-5's vs 1 MiG-21: MiG-21 will have a tougher time, a pilot needs to be quite skilled. 3 AI-5's vs 1 MiG-21: Pilot will need to be a literal god of an ace pilot. 5 AI-5's vs MiG-21: Are you kidding? The MiG is getting clubbed. The AI-5 is being designed to be mass produceable, yet still somewhat on par with the MiG-21. Although the MiG-21 is superior in many ways, they'll suffer to the ease of production of the AI-5. The A-50 as an Attack Aircraft is being designed as well, being a main contributor to ground forces and acting as another way to completely dice up enemy ground forces. The CSA adopts the Exploration Standard, always having a step up in space technology over the SEU and socialists. Designs for nuclear propulsion in Naval ships is underway, and on another note, the Caliphate produces some of the world's biggest cargo ships in their Persian Gulf ports. A new tank is on the horizon, this time being dubbed the MBT-7, and proposed to be greater than anything the soviets produced. The Caliphate, although having past relationships with Colombia ceased to intervene in the war to prevent destroying themselves. However, they have announced that if Brazil or Mexico is even touched, they will not back down. Those nations in South America are big buyers of the Caliphate's oil, and although haven't filled the SEU's spot, they are determined to be quite the force.
The SEUSA has decided that launching a man into space second, carefully is better than launching it first but dangerously. SEU will allow the Caliphate to launch the man first. Doing it carefully will allow the SEU to put crap tons of sensors and allow SEU to make the rider comfortable, as well as research new types of space food. The existing space food prototypes are nutrient goo and nutrient cubes. Not very appetizing. SEU will need good food if SEU is to make long-term voyages. SEU will also carefully do the first rendezvous and test landing vehicles. Carefully, while gathering data from all places. The Caliphate can do it first, SEU will do it better. SEU will gain experience. SEU needs all the data it can get to achieve its ultimate goal; put a man on the moon, first. SEU decides to take it slow, and then to gradually step things up with their greater funding and resources (at the expense, of suprisingly not the military but higher taxes) until SEU can launch a man to the moon, and do it first. By the time SEU is putting its full effort in, SEU wants half the work done before by SEU's data collection and testing.
Creation of the World Centre Alliance Created by the Sunayyad Caliphate, the World Centre Alliance, also known as the WCA is a mutual treaty among the Sunayyad Caliphate and their many allies. The alliance is a nod to the Socialist Unity, and is a sure way to expand the vastness of the Caliphate and its alliances. Although the Caliphate is within the Islamic Union, a unity within MENA, Central Asia, South East Asia and North Africa, the Caliphate remains secular in relation to these alliances, and almost hides their religion under a face mask. Countries included in the MILITARY alliance: Sunayyad CaliphatePakistanBulgariaBrazilCanadaNew Abyssinian EmpireMexico These Nations contribute to the Alliance agreements in Mutual Defense and Collective Security to one another, and indulge in military exercises, trade, scientific and educational exchanges, etc.
The UBR isn't going to contribute very much to the SEUSA, as we have our own ambitions: It's time to conquer Guianas (NOW!!!) [Do you get my reference? Do you get it??] The UBR intends to sail to north-eastern South America and annex the land from Mabaruma to Ouanary and up to 750 km inland from that (modern day French Guiana, Suriname and Guyana). It won't be easy, but it won't be hard either. It's not top priority for other countries. If all goes to plan, the area should be annexed and be an official part of the UBR by post 1450.
While SEU questions whether taking ease of production to even more than SEU is a good thing (The MiG-21 is already optimized for ease of production, but the SEU Military is just poor.), SEU could not care less. SEU is designing the T-62. It will enter production and service in 1959, weirdly enough. Most of SEU's inventory is T-54/T-55 tanks, but the T-62 promises better all-around performance to match the MBT-7. It will be harder to produce, but SEU thinks it'll be worth it. In any case, SEU has decided to replace the Il-2 with... something. SEU has contracted Ilyushin to make a new ground attack Aircraft, although SEU isn't buying any yet.
OOC: On the Socialist Party and SEU. "The Socialist Party's purpose is to create a World where it is obsolete. When humanity adopts Communism as its chief system, we shall disband the party. Until then, we shall remain as Humanity's Vanguard." -The Founder of the Socialist Party, shortened to just Founder. The Socialist Party's purpose is to spread Socialism around the globe and to prepare humanity to receive Communism. The Socialist Party aggressively spreads Socialism for this reason; SEU's purpose is to spread Socialism and to make the workers rise up against the Capitalists everywhere, and to create a new Socialist Society where the Capitalists have more responsibility. However, SEU's goal is much more long-term. SEU reveres Karl Marx, even if it is a twisted version created by the Founder. (The Founder is not a saint. If Marx saw what the Founder was peddling, he would try to kill the Founder. Marx's Ghost has seen the Founder and the Founder is only protected by being an extension of the entity Warlord678.). The Founder saw that Socialism was simply not viable. So the Founder tried to make it better; he fused it with Confucian teachings and Capitalism to create Eurasian Socialism. This is a corruption of Karl Marx, but much more suited to reality than Karl Marx's teachings. SEU likes being practical, and SEU knows that pure Marxist teaching is impossible and impractical. The SEU follows this philosophy. The Founder still wanted a Communist Society, but humans were not ready for it. For this reason, SEU also prepares humans for Communism by teaching them collectivism and responsibility. SEU's plan is to make each generation progressively more suited for Communism, thereby creating a perfect Communist Society, where there is no need for a state and everyone works together for the common good. The Socialist Party's purpose is to create a world where there is no need for a Socialist Party. The Socialist Party's existence is antithetical to Communism, and so it cannot exist forever. Its fate is to disband when its purpose is fulfilled.

The goal of Mehmet was to bring back the golden age of Islam, and to restore it as the world's centre of knowledge and of trade. That was the purpose of the spreading of the Islamic Empire, to reestablish what belonged before. The goal was never world domination, only to unite every Muslim Nation. Now with Musawaism, an idea of a liberal and more social form of Islam thought by Mehmet, that's a different story about domination. In its full state, Musawaism is freeing the Muslim religion, being a lot more liberal and somewhat socialist. Although somewhat socialist, it is not close to communism. This is why Musawaism and Marxism will never be perfect together, EVER. Marx and his followers blasphemed Musawaism for being a faulty rendition of socialism, and he's right. Musawaism is the Islamic version of the SEU's socialism and is perfect in Muslim majority nations. This is why Indonesia and Malaysia have adopted it over every other ideology, it fits with them while still being socialist. Musawaism is so widespread. Its in Central Asia, North and Sub Sahara Africa, South East Asia, and even in India, China... damnit, everywhere! It will never spread rapidly in China or India though and will never take over, or any socialist country for that matter, BUT, it will be the choice of any muslim community over socialism any day. This is why the SEU undoubtedly hates the Caliphate. All in all, the Caliphate doesn't want world domination, but the union of Islam. Its in the way of the Socialists. Sure, they can spread everywhere else, but there's literally a massive chunk in the center of the map which isn't socialist at all. And they are going to hate it, because all of the Muslims in their country are chosing another form of socialism that isn't theirs. Ashqar Ayyad is a very mysterious man, being in multiple secrecy groups in the Islamic World, not the Muslim Brotherhood, but the Musawai Brotherhood, being a main leader in the group of secret "elites" and the divine clergy of Islam, with very strong religious tradition and ties to Islam. That group is the same group, though under a different name now, which was responsible for the death of over 6,660 witches in the Middle East in 1925. Those witches are buried somewhere in Syria, and some say some had direct ties to the Founder. Mysticism is common in this group, although they do not practice it, they study it and find ways to cease its corruption, but nonetheless, what they do is very, very eerie.
In recent months, there has been activity across the nations of the former Balkan Federation. The Balkan Liberation Army is a terrorist organisation, founded several years ago by a Greek philosopher called Stamatis Adonis, popularly known as 'Stamodos'. Stamados created a manifesto called the Vivlío Ideón, which forms the constitution of the BLA. It advocates the restoration of the Balkan Federation, the institution of a Balkan Senate with a directly elected Lower House that is proportionally represented, and an appointed Upper House filled with experts on certain topics (healthcare, defence, etc.); the Balkan States to have their own governments with maximum devolution; and a single currency known as the Kykloslice. Stamodos mysteriously disappeared months ago as his ideas gained traction throughout the former Balkan Federation. The Italian Empire's government very likely kidnapped and killed him to remove the movement's figurehead. They have failed. A Serbian man called Dragoje Aleksič has taken up Stamados's mantle. He is much more militant, and as a direct result of Stamados's potential death, has made his followers the same. The masses of the Balkan Peninsula are energised and are on the verge of open revolt.
SEU knows all too well that SNE will react very badly if Italy gets themselves in trouble as it means their hegemony over Europe is contested, and that the unrest also means nothing good for the Muslims in Albania which will be persecuted. Basically, the Balkans are set to blow, and to blow big. SEU wants nothing to do with petty European disputes. SEU decides to sit back and to profit by selling weapons. SEU Naval Patrols stay within the Black Sea, and the SEU Army is put on alert. Given, the SEU Army is exceptionally underfunded and still uses many T-34s. However, SEU fears a catastrophe may arise.
The Caliphate knows too much that controlling European land (except for Turkey) as a Muslim empire never goes well. *Cough* ottomans. If Albanian were to create a Muslim resistence however (which should happen to defend themselves) the Caliphate will supply them quicker than ever. The Caliphate has many, many M4 Saladins in stock, and a lot of Super Saladins, although the Saladin is inferior as a MBT to the most advanced today, the Super Saladin is like the ww2 saladin and the modern main battle tanks the Panther. Once more action occurs, you bet your ass the Caliphate is gonna support the Albanian Muslim Resistence.
The spooky thing about the Founder isn't that he exists. It's that he appeared out of nowhere. The Ayyad Clan was notable, but the Founder appeared one day and started doing his thing. No one knows where he was born, no one knows a thing about his childhood, when questioned he gets non-comittal and confused. He seemingly has no Childhood, as if he appeared into existence as a fully grown adult and started his movement. All of the other Founders have validated pasts and clear history. Only the Founder just... appeared. He is a morally questionable man. He gave to the poor generously... by plundering the Joseon treasury and looting the Houses of rich Japanese. He enforced strict discipline and made sure never to harm the people he ruled... by brutally suppressing dissent and disagreement. He is a revolutionary Hero... that used brutal, indiscriminate terror and murder to expel the Japanese. Given, he mellowed out a bit. But he's still very controversial, and very mysterious. OOC: He did appear out of nowhere, I wrote him into the story with no birth or backstory.
