  1. SEU has decided to ferry Rhee using the Yi Sun-Shin. Now, that ship has 12 457mm guns and is an imposing statement of terror rather than a ship of diplomacy. It is also the largest Battleship ever, and is incredibly scary for all intents and purposes.
This conference is already a disaster; SEU is using a giant weapons boat to ferry their leader. SEU is making a statement already; that they don't want to negotiate, they are here to assert their dominance over the Saudi Caliphate.
The Yi Sun-Shin is a gigantic weapon of war, and SEU is putting it to good use.
Yi Sun-Shin will be modernized over the years and will ferry many leaders, and eventually converted into a museum ship in the 2000s with capacity to be reactivated if needed. Most of the other Battleships will be turned into museums or scrapped. 1, however will formally remain in commission, if only ceremonially.
  2. The Federation Urges both sides vehemently to reconsider their egotistical decisions and is sending 2 ships to provide neutrality for both sides one will arrive with the SEU and the Other with the Caliph
  3. Ibn Saud expresses that Rhee is a "loud mouth, no work man."
The ship doesn't bring a statement to the Caliphate at all, it just shows that the SEU has no other way in expressing their already small family jewels.

Ibn Saud is taking the tiger, 100%, and he is also going to be ordering exclusive Japanese food to the dinner meeting. Rhee will have to eat it, as well as all the other SEU politicans, just to piss the SEU off even more.
The Caliphate knows they don't have a ship big enough as the Yi-Sun Shin, so instead they will keep their cool and make a laughing stock of the SEU.

Ibn Saud has personally had an artist from Turkey paint a canvas of the Yi-Sun Shin ship that the Caliphate sunk in WW2. It will be exaggerated to be sinking and in flames, with a white flag signifying surrender, and it will be plastered throughout the hall.
  4. SEU proposes very little during the conference.
Instead, it becomes a verbal brawl between the leaders. Rhee, having personally fought against the Japanese refuses to accommodate the Caliphate's demands. As lesser leaders and secretaries advance their respective agendas, it becomes a verbal battle, at which neither side is very good at. It is effectively a contest of egos, between Rhee Syng-Man and Ibn Saud. This meeting fails to improve relations, and instead substantially worsens them as the respective nations only feel great disgust for the other.
UBR won't be happy. SEU decides to build their own rockets. Maybe it won't be as good as Caliphate rockets, but SEU can catch up later. They just need a rocket good enough to mount explosives.
  5. The first man made thing to ever reach space is awarded to the Caliphate, and it's the X-2. Reaching nearly 118 miles, it reached space and arched back down. This is a massive achievement to the Caliphate, although very costly, fuel was no problem, as this accomplishment shows that the Caliphate has created the first ever Ballistic Missile.
There is no doubt with the X-3 the Caliphate is going to be putting a nuclear warhead on it in the near future.
Not much is known outside, except that it happened, but all other information on the project is under the Zeta code.

Ibn Saud is very impressed, and wants to be the first nation on earth to mass a nuclear arsenal capable of destroying a full scale SEU invasion.
  6. SEU goes in to complete panic mode.
Their goal is to catch up, right now.
They will build their own missiles, they will build their own rockets. They are woefully behind, and SEU is giving them all the funds they could need to catch up right now. The other parts of the military are not happy, but SEU doesn't care. If they don't start now, they will fall behind irrevocably.
In any case, SEU now has a strategic doctrine known as the Nuclear Triad.
    • Air power: Clear SEU dominance.
    • Missiles: Clear Caliphate dominance.
    • Submarines: Ambiguous.
SEU makes it a goal to dominate 2 parts of the triad, at once. SEU has decided to experiment with Nuclear Power on submarines, and to mount Nuclear Missiles in the far future. As SEU is very skilled with Nuclear Reactors, they have decided to use it for both commercial and military use. In addition, they are far superior to the Caliphate at the whole "nuclear warhead" thing; this will make Rocket work considerably easier. As SEU has a lot of Pu-239 to work with, they will be able to build a plentiful arsenal, up 50,000 potential bombs. In addition, the U-235 will be used for Nuclear Reactors.
The Navy has designed a new Submarine; with 3,000 tons of displacement submerged and nearly 22,000 km of range. It will be the newest workhorse, and a intermediate step to a new, revolutionary SEU project. It is to mount Nuclear Power on ships. SEU wants Nuclear Power on all ships above 30,000 tons displacement as well as Submarines. Nuclear powered submarines will allow them to have effectively unlimited range.
    SEU really, really wants that.
  7. The Caliphate has already started on experimenting with nuclear powered naval units, although none have been produced as of yet, the possibilities are quite endless, and futile. The Caliphate's warheads aren't bad either, although the SEU may have a greater understanding, the Caliphate is speeding VERY close behind, and they have ROCKETS, while all the SEU has is a warhead... It's much easier to master warheads than it is to master rockets, and the SEU is very behind in that matter.

After all, the Caliphate is the only nation on earth to have used a Nuclear Weapon, one which killed nearly 80,000 people, with radiation that has caused countless more. The SEU has 0 experience in this, and the fact that the Caliphate literally has an entire desert in their backyard with 0 human life, means that the Caliphate has a much broader testing capability than the SEU.

The Caliphate already has a submarine design ready, with 4,000 tons submerged and 21,850 km of range, it is suppose to be a nuclear version of the Deniz Class, and will possibly see it's own class with Deniz attributes, or a new beast itself. Estimators suggest It will most likely finished construction as the world's first nuclear powered submarine by 1952, but multiple tests must be done, a lot of work is being researched. Once nuclear powered ships are researched, and the Caliphate creates a fleet of nuclear powered ships, Ballistic missiles will then be put onto submarines.

OOC: The Nautilus was the worlds' first nuclear submarine, it was made in 1955, and since technology in this game goes ahead two years this number is more realistic as plans are already being made in 1947 before the Nautilus was actually designed
  8. Did you forget about Siberia?
SEU has tested Nuclear Weapons on Siberia, more than once. No one lives there, which is nice. The Socialist Eurasian Union, in any case knows that delivering the warheads are better than having lots of them.
By the end of the year, SEU will most certainly have an equivalent to the X-3, and they will probably close the gap in 5-7 years, assuming nothing goes horribly wrong. In any case, UBR has been a great help to SEU on this matter; their advanced computers help SEU substantially. SEU has increased taxation and is finally drawing on their vast populace for money and funding, and many SNE Rocket Scientists (really, really good) have been seized by SEU as part of "reparations".
  9. The Caliphate will most definitely have a nuclear ballistic missile before the SEU. The SEU has just started building a rocket, they have little experience in it while the Caliphate has a lot. The Caliphate doesn't need much experience for a warhead, they are pretty damn close. However, the SEU is going to need a lot more time to develop a rocket that actually works, by the time the Caliphate deploys their first ballistic missile is the time the SEU will have the equivalentof the Caliphate's rocket technology.
  10. Nuclear warheads are a delicate art; arguably even more delicate than rockets, and SEU has been doing it for as long as the Caliphate has been doing rockets. SEU doesn't have to be stingy about U-235 and Pu-239, it is plentiful. The Caliphate does. They're going to catch up with each other in about 5-7 years, SEU sooner than the Caliphate. They've got massive leads on the other; if both sides try their hardest to catch up...
  11. The Federation has finished their radar they now begin the task of putting it on all their ships and aircraft

They have also started an upgraded version of radar that will allow them to find missiles and nukes before they are visible will take 2 years
  12. The TCE has decided that moving the capital to Stockholm is the best option. Government offices will gradually be moved to Stockholm and, once the National Assembly approves it, so will the offices of the National Assembly.
    ---
The UBR is disappointed in the result of the conference, however we are glad it happened.
    ---
Begin letter to the SEU from the UBR:
    Dear Mr. Rhee Syng-Man,
It has come to the attention of the UBR the you have a parcel of land on the Baltic Sea by the name of "Kaliningrad". The exclave is entirely surrounded by the UBR by land and sea. We offer you a trade; you give Kaliningrad to the UBR and the UBR gives rights for the SEU to sail anywhere in the Baltic Sea under control of the UBR. The UBR will also give the right for businesses and firms in the UBR trade freely with the SEU with no extra tax, and the UBR hopes that the SEU would give the same, for SEU businesses and firms to trade freely with the UBR. Please give your response as soon as possible. Thank you.
    Sincerely,
    Höpöttää Kahvi
    Prime Minister of the UBR
  13. SEU accepts, under the condition that UBR also pays SEU.
    SEU kinda needs cash.

  14. The Caliphate works on their warhead technology at a very fast pace, but are also developing proper launch vehicles.

Now, space is in the minds of the astronomers and engineers in the Caliphate. Go to the moon? No, it's a useless feat, the caliphate needs to save money. Satellites though? Yes. Satellite technology has already been thought of, and many of the world's greatest are evolving themselves around the idea of launching a satellite into space. The Caliphate has already launched a man made object into space, why not a satellite? Plans are currently underway.

Meanwhile, the Land Based Radar stations in the Caliphate are due for an upgrade, and within 1.5 years all are expected to be replaced by a much more accurate model, stretching all the way from Afghanistan to Casablanca. 40 mm Arabic V.2 guns (basically Bofors, literally bofors) are being spread throughout the Caliphate, at such dense spaces, the Arabic V.2 models are cheaper to produce and place, they would be able to stop an air raid with ease. The Caliphate's main moto is be the best at defense, and they are, they prove to be more well defended than their socialist neighbours, even though, to be fair the socialists have a massive landmass.

As well, the AI-4, A44 and B52 are being produced at massive numbers, rivaling enemy air force numbers. Ship yards, airports, strongholds and military bases and all the various military outposts in the Caliphate are being repaired, maintained and built, making the Caliphate a very well defended nation, money is dropping, but everything is being kept up.

ESPECIALLY since the Caliphate excels in logistics, with their railway being added to, connecting the empty space from Aswan and down the Blue Nile into Ethiopia, who is now supporting the international railway and connecting to it, the project will be finished within 2 years. Trade is great.

But society is not, Wahhabism is very oppressive, and now laws are forcing women to wear Hijabs under the religious code, causing anger, as well as little rights. Sharia Law has been the face of death for many people, and to show how bad it is, anyone who steals has their hand chopped off, and the justice system works as an eye for an eye, meaning if you shot someone in the leg, you will get shot in the leg as well, dropping crime to a very low number.

Oppression to non-Muslims has also been rising, although the government hasn't directly caused the semi-genocide, various groups which have attacked Christian settlements are ignored. Although the majority of Islam in MENA is peaceful, the new laws allows the 0.2% of radicals to show their true stripes as they could not before, but the majority of the groups being attacked are Muslims, especially ones who are Musawai.
  15. SEU is designing their own Superheavy bomber.
Tupolev has been contracted to this end.
    Tu-100 "Flying Doom":
The equivalent of the Caliphate B-52, this bomber has significantly more rugged construction. It is substantially larger and has a much larger payload. Its size makes it slightly less attractive as a logistical option, but SEU does not need to worry about "logistics".
As typical of Tupolev, it is a very good bomber, rugged, reliable, efficient, upgradeable and reasonably cheap for a bomber of its girth (very expensive). However, Tupolev went 420% (5 and 1/5 times) over budget when developing this, very untypical behavior (Tupolev normally runs 100-250% over budget, and that's when SEU gives them fat budgets to work with. No matter how much money SEU gives them, they find ways to squander the money.). Also, while its performance exceeds expectations by leaps and bounds, it is 3% more expensive than planned.

  16. SEU Nuclear Arsenal:
    200 Air-Dropped bombs
    20-30 Experimental Boosted Fission weapons
SEU is currently researching possible Fusion weapons, though they are not yet finished.
The Soviet Union continues to spread money around and to improve the economic growth. As the SEU population increases, Rhee (a rather intelligent man) does his best to assist the population grow, to varying degrees of success. SEU redistributes wealth extensively.
  17. Each nation's strengths and weaknesses in a nutshell, RPG Format. (DEF/2 deducted from enemy health, DEF/2 deducted from enemy ATK before ATK deducts health)
    100,000 HP
    15,000 ATK
    4,000 DEF
Reflects the slow, bulky nature of the SEU. It takes ages to do anything, but when they do inevitably move, they are unstoppable by any force. They can take massive losses and shrug it off; they can tank what would kill any other nation. And their ability to attack is just as impressive, with a formidable ATK.
    2 SPD (0-10)
    Caliphate:
    12,000 HP
    9,000 ATK
    8,000 DEF
    9 SPD
Reflects the speedy nature of the Caliphate. They are all about attack and speed, but each loss, each lost factory is a huge blow. Their defense may be high, but they pay for it by having a low health pool. Effectively, a glass cannon. They can run circles around any other nation, but they are outclassed in many factors and when forced into open confrontation unable to fight properly.
    SNE:
    21,000 HP
    6,000 ATK
    6,000 DEF
    6 SPD
Well balanced. Can outperform any of the others at at least one category; outperforms the Caliphate at HP. Outperforms the SEU at speed. Their army is professional, clean and industrial. Not fanatical, but very well trained.
    UBR:
    18,000 HP
    3,000 ATK
    2,000 DEF
    8 SPD
Middle ground between Caliphate and SNE.
    Soviet Union:
    120,000 HP
    30,000 ATK
    5,000 DEF
    1 SPD
SEU but even more extreme. Hard to operate, slow and unwieldy (even more so than SEU), but incredibly powerful and invincible when finally attacking with full potential.
  18. I'm not up there lol

    Probably don't want to be
  19. I don't agree with the Caliphate's HP at all, but whatever...
  20. The Federation is rating all the major combines including itself unbiasedly in 3 months(aka once i go back and look at everything)
