The UNAFR is working with the Afghanistan government on constructing the Ring Road, a road which will run throughout the whole country like a ring. This is to make trade and transportation much easier and unite isolated communities and villages. The project will cost a whopping 2$ billion dollars, but the UNAFR has plenty of money. During the construction, areas will be guarded by NPATAR soldiers, while the UNAFR plays whack-a-mole with the Taliban. That's exactly how it's like in Afghanistan, no Taliban group has any way to grow, because every time a new one pops up, the UNAFR bombs the hell out of their rats' nest. The only resistance is the civilians, some of which are protesting against the government. They don't realize how good they have it, with the UNAFR controlling Afghanistan, they gain the same religious freedoms as before, but also keep their cities flourishing. The WEO is focusing heavily on getting Afghanistan to become an environmental powerhouse, well, a powerhouse for their status of a country. The Ring road will be complete in 2 years.
HMKX has created a goal of raising the GDP Per Capita dramatically. HMKX, which has colonized the majority of its lands to the maximal extent possible, now turns inwards. HMKX living standards are mediocre, its GDP Per Capita is only 50% of the UNAFR. HMKX knows all too well there are far too many people to ever meet or surpass them, but they have made a goal regardless; the goal is to make the GDP Per Capita about 2/3s of UNAFR. This would require substantial Economic Growth. As such, HMKX has heavily subsidized internal growth. HMKX has had a run-in with the Swiss. In one of its ruthless corporate rampages (as in HMKX raided just about everything related with a corporation), the Swiss Bank associated with one of the executives bluntly refused to allow HMKX to investigate and seize the assets of the vanished executive, who probably fled to FRNS or something. (This is before the time Switzerland enforced Money Laundering Laws). HMKX has stated that if Switzerland refuses, they will simply do it by force. HMKX takes Anti-Corruption very seriously, and they loathe it with a passion. Even the people that don't want harsh punishment for corruption advocate for a clean Government.
Libya, Guinea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and South Africa have all agreed. DRC and South Africa were going to gobble up Namibia, but Guinea and Libya instead proposed making it an effective puppet state under all four nations' control and HMKX Supervision to prevent fights. That way, everyone benefits and they remove a pesky Western Colonial power! So they go to HMKX and say "can you supervise this whole 'Namibia' thing?" HMKX, being too busy basically says "ok whatever just dont commit atrocities" With the leader's approval, they get to work. They systematically bribe leaders. They know all too well this will leak; it always does. So they use extensive shell accounts, to make it untraceable back to them. In addition, they bribe completely extraneous people, irrelevant people having nothing to do with a rapid takeover of Namibia. Meanwhile, they rile up ethnic tensions, manipulating the arbitrarily drawn borders of the Colonies to their advantage. And then Madagascar shows up. All four nations groan. Madagascar is never a good sign. But then they offer to help, using their extensive network of spies and agents to cover up their work. In exchange, they get the seat "Chief of the Armed Forces" in the soon-to be independent Namibia. So it is decided. The plan is as such. Namibia becomes an independent Republic, heavily influenced. DRC gets to have a DRC-influenced person as the President. Libya, their main rival gets the Prime Minister. South Africa gets Speaker of the Parliament. Guinea gets Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and Deputy Prime Minister. Namibia remains under a balanced state, with HMKX enforcing this balance. The DRC Faction and Libyan Faction both abandon attempts to unbalance this.
The UWE accepts this offer. Sorry for taking forever, I keep forgetting about this. The UWE will pay what the HMKX requests for the supercarriers. OOC:The UWE continues building on New Zealand and has officially built a small naval base. The troops stationed in New Zealand are starting to be withdrawn and are moving back to the main states. This ups the active army. But New Zealand is now not heavily protected. Along with the naval base, they also start building an air base too. In Italy, a volcano warning is active. Italians move upward away from the volcano. This causes panic in Italy but an increase in factory workers because most people are moving to cities.
Also there is a naval deal for capital ships, like Supercarriers. You get 900,000 tons allocated for building, if you accept. Not accepting might lead to negative relations. That was 120,000 tons.
Plans to gobble up Nambia were leaked to the UNAFR government this morning after a Nigerian spy informed them. The UNAFR sends a drastic call to FRNS, alerting them of their colony being stripped from them. Since FRNS doesn't have a military, their only two options are to leave it and let them get run over by some African countries, or to get the UNAFR to step in and retake Nambia. If the UNAFR was to ever retake Nambia for the FRNS, the UNAFR would want hefty percentages of their natural resource and mining facilities.
Currently, two UNAFR citizens sit in UFOS Prisons, and the UNAFR wants them out. Due to the new penalty for smoking cigarettes and cigars in UFOS, two innocent men were unrightfully sentenced to prison in a foreign country, one of them facing up to 10 years just for smoking a cigarette near a smoke shop. Documents reveal one man was smoking outside of a smoke shop while he was speaking to a woman who said she was 20. Her ID said she was 16, she was undoubtedly mature for her age, the suspect was tricked. Police just so happened to be in the area and arrested him. He faces the possibility of 5 years. Another man was caught smoking a cigarette with his friends at a skatepark. The smoker was 17, while his two friends were 16, and one was 18. They claimed to have lied about their age and bought the cigarettes but were later arrested. He is seeing 5-10 years. An elite businessman was smoking a cigar in a luxurious hotel lobby, the day during the cigar ban. He was arrested, but due to the corrupt police force in Brazil, he was let go after he bribed the cops with $5000. That amount of money to him is like pennies to regular folk. The UNAFR wants all the prosecutors back into the UNAFR, the jail sentences are outrageous for smoking, and the most they deserve is 90 days.

During the EC-HMKX War, the region that was formerly Yugoslavia underwent massive amounts of instability. This has resulted in Anti-Muslim sentiments, because FRNS wanted to invade the Muslim Middle Eastern Nations. When Serbs and other Christian Yugoslavs were deployed to the Syrian region, (still at war BTW), by the OEO, they proceeded to butcher the native Muslims in a mass Ethnic Cleansing effort. Or at least the Iraqi and Muslims claim. The Iraqi government fired on the Peacekeepers, alleging Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing. Multiple Airstrikes were made upon the Serbian Peacekeepers. The Kurds also attacked the Peacekeepers, although not very enthusiastically. The Ukranian Peacekeepers were also fired upon, by the Syrian Government and Rebels. Iraq has also attempted to destroy them. The Serbians have refused to let reports in, alleging a War Zone. The Muslim Peacekeepers are in open conflict with the Yugoslavian ones, as well as Ukranian ones. HMKX has stated they will intervene to remove the Yugoslavs if this madness continues. It is of note the Israeli forces generally refuse to work with Serbian/Ukranian ones, stating "They are too kill-happy." The Serbs have denied any such thing took place, and called for OEO to punish them. Ukraine has enthusiastically supported the Serbs.

The FRNS, through the echelons of the EC, has called on Yugoslavia to back down. They have refused to do so, attempting to call the FRNS's bluff on voting 'yes' in the OEO motion. It was not a bluff. The FRNS has voted yes. The European Commonwealth has temporarily suspended Yugoslavia from the Commonwealth, leaving the nation completely without allies and without trade deals. They can be re-admitted and the FRNS will withdraw their vote if Yugoslavia withdraws from Syria. There is some indication that they will cave to do it peacefully if any more yes votes are cast. Meanwhile, at home, there is some intense debate over the fate of Namibia. The FRNS, government and population alike, is shifting towards the view that empires are bad and it should be operating through the European Commonwealth and working entirely upon trade deals with independent nations instead.
Yugoslavia and Ukraine are leaving, but there is suspicious activity. The "Peacekeepers" are torching entire towns, burning things, killing selectively some while they prepare to leave. Iraq has opted to force their way in, to find out just what the hell is going on. Saudi Arabia and UAE helped. OEO would have acted, but HMKX held them back. That was a good idea. They just uncovered a Genocide. The OEO commision on Human Rights has demanded an investigation into Yugoslavia and Ukraine. They want heads to roll. Obviously, Yugoslavia and Ukraine have bluntly refused to extradite anyone. Iraq has disclosed the death toll is likely in the hundreds of thousands. The Ukrainians and Yugoslavs fight, but the natives clearly like the Iraqi. What the Iraqi find is horrifying: Entire towns are empty, drained of all life. The towns have been torched, looted, burned. There are so many dead. They estimate about 50,000 dead. The towns that are not empty have no Women. All the women have been killed. In the occasional town that is neither of these things, much of the Adult Males are dead. It appears that many of the Peacekeepers from foreign nations attempted to resist and were brutally executed. And they're only a fifth of the way through.
HMKX has a message for the EC: Cooperate with OEO investigators, or else. Heads will roll. The Free Syrian Army and Syrian Government agree to a temporary ceasefire to deal with this Genocide. The Kurds don't care. The Arabians are pissed. Iran is pissed. They have levelled a battery of sanctions at Yugoslavia and Ukraine. HMKX has levelled sanctions against both Nations on the valuable Rare Earth metals, Tantalum, Steel (HMKX is 1# steel exporter in the World), and other products (HMKX makes a crap ton of stuff). The Africans quickly move to take over Namibia while EC and FRNS are distracted. HMKX has seized upon the opportunity to get a regime change in Ukraine. They want a more HMKX-friendly leader. However, they are once again preparing for a humanitarian intervention, and a military intervention if Yugoslavia and Ukraine fail to extradite the leaders. Meanwhile, a "Free Namibia" movement has sprouted. It is backed by the Libyans and Guineans. Madagascar acts as Cover-up. They hide their movements from FRNS and EC.
