Mongolia is currently a satellite state and so you are technically able to take it. However I wouldn't since its currently caught up in a very serious conflict. I'm not sure about Iran.

Mongolia is a satellite state, so you would need to talk to SoulPunisher in having it. Iran currently isn't taken and neither are many middle-eastern countries.
