Even disregarding the literal meaning of 'forever', that's probably not true. We aren't progressing too quickly in this game anymore nowadays, but I don't know of any plans to add more residences (although moving residences to other servers has been discussed), and as I don't expect the player count to increase lastingly any time soon, I don't think we'll need them... so it is not unlikely that we will get to numbers in this forum game outside of the range of residence numbers, considering that we are already on smp7.
