Ah 400 pounds, you're into a much more expensive territory than U first expected. :P I bought my Dell E6420 for like 150 euros a couple of years ago. Definitely get something with an SSD (or something yiu can put an SSD in).
Look online to see if you can find anything on their build quality - Windows laptops have also improved massively, but there are still the shoddy ones out there, so be sure to grab something that is decent. :) Looks - whether it looks properly built or looks like a glossy plastic mess - often say half of the story. :P
AND AFTER AAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL YOU'RE MY WONDERWAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL I really want to learn Radiohead, and joy division is a great post-punk pick. I need to learn more stuff like that.
And I'm going to quote Jared dines from the "how to annoy/piss off guitarists" video "Cleartone is better than Ernie Ball."

Nope, I'm talking in degrees. 20-25 (68F-77F), peaking at about 30 degrees (86F) our average summer temperature in the UK. Just a few weeks ago it was snowing and hitting around -5 (23F), which it should still be doing until halfway through March.
I even have videos of me exactly 365 days ago dressed in 4 layers, mouth covered by my winter coat, head in a beanie and my hood up, with my fingers red from frostbite, a light amount of snow falling all around me, while I was running and skidding and subsequently slipping on ice. Compare to that to today, when I went outside in a T-Shirt and am beginning to tan.
And, also interesting to note, the record for hottest British winter day has been broken twice this week. It's Tuesday. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47360952 https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/feb/26/uk-hottest-winter-day-ever
I accepted a university offer. One of the top three in Wales AND doesn't have students living in post-industrial slums inside renovated hospitals. Quite happy with that. Can I skip to September?
Hey the UK is having its warmest day in a February ever recorded. I knew 18 degrees in a month we used to be up to our knees in snow during was morbidly unusual.
According to the Met Office, it peaked at 20.0 degrees at 4PM. Highest temperature was in Trawsgoed in Ceredigion, Wales where it almost got to 21, therefore becoming the first place to ever have temperatures exceed 20 degrees in the winter in the UK. For comparison the average February temperature in London is 6 degrees and Trawsgoed's is 5.
Ohh, Jeremy Corbyn, Ohh Jeremy Corb- wait, wrong election. Vote for... Windylava or Jewel_King. Whoever you want, actually. I endorse them both and will be voting for the underdog.
I went outside in a coat this morning. Suddenly I'm too hot. Took it off, rolled up the sleeves of my hoodie. I went on my phone to check the weather. It's 15 degrees. Why is it 15 degrees in February?
Space is pretty chilly already. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt. Plus it has an uncountable number of stars, which are quite warm, so I assume we'll all be fine if we just eject some of earth's excess temperature into it.
BRIT Awards summarised: Arctic Monkeys, for the first time ever, lost all the awards they were nominated for. The 1975, the most successful British band since the Arctic Monkeys, took them both lol
Oh he won because he died. The 1975 are well deserving of the award and i'm so glad they won it this year.
I want a big old house I can paint in dark colours and decorate with pointless drab ornaments and paintings and a big wine cupboard and a piano, that I can read books in, with a big field as my back garden I can keep some horses in and ride them.
There's 37 days until March 29th. I'm beginning to think my country's economy will, in fact, be completely and totally eviscerated and I'll have to get food and medicine rations handed to me by soldiers. Please help.
Nine Conservative MPs have told May that they plan to unless she second referendums. That's a lot more than the TIG wanted - they said any more than three or four conservative defections and we'll get an election which they don't want.
Wish I could have been at the student strike for climate change and gone down to London today. Would love to have been charged at by police on horseback and hit and arrested by a gang of officers for no reason.
the climate change march in our city was so completely useless, oh no the 16-18 year olds are standing in the marketplace for a few hours better do something about climate change before granny betty gets annoyed that she cant buy her fish
Kinda, I went semi-vegetarian about 2 weeks ago. No meat until tea since the rest of my family eats it, however I've also gone through with the complete removal of fish and beef.
get anxious -> anxiousness increases my caffeine craving -> drink tea -> caffeine makes me more anxious -> need more caffeine -> drink coffee -> get more anxious -> craving gets worse-> mix tea and coffee -> go decaf for a bit -> calm down -> repeat
Seriously if someone has never drank it I would advise them to never touch it. I NEED it to function and the withdrawal symptoms seem never-ending and are horrible to live with. If this was any other stimulant I'd have been referred to rehab by now smh
Ouch, that sucks, that's indeed one of the reasons I don't drink it... I've never drank coffee, and (unless someone gives it to me when not home) only drink tea without caffeine. I don't drink caffeinated soft drinks either. I often go to bed way too late, which makes me even more apprehensive of drinking that stuff, as getting addicted doesn't seem unlikely... :P
Oh yeah it sucks with going to sleep on time too. I try to make sure I stop drinking anything with it in by 9pm so the period where my brain is getting way less of it but before it starts screaming for more falls directly in the time I want to sleep.
