Debate rustles in the Parliament on the introduction of a Mandatory Military Enlistment program, which would see all male United North citizens aged 18-24 undergo a Mandatory Military service for 9 months. This, of course, does not include people who are not physically healthy, have mental health issues or those who suffer from disabilities. Social ability and rank/wealth in society does not exempt you from Mandatory Military service, and there is no way out of it except if a life-threatening situation happens in your life. This Mandatory military program is a direct way to combat the huge HMKX military. This Enlistment program not only allows more troops to be ready and willing during times of threat to the Sovereign country of TUN, but it also teaches valuable life skills and grows a more disciplined, valiant and an all-around strong younger generation. Those who avoid the Mandatory Military Enlistment early on will have a chance to hold back for a while, but at the age of 24 you will be seized and will serve jail time if you do not comply to the Enlistment. It is 100% recommended to begin the militarized training once 18, as it doesn't present a future pain in the side in the future, which if you keep resisting the Enlistment, you'll definitely be overwhelmed. The Empire's 2 new Supercarriers are being floated around as a symbol that even if TUN may sink a carrier, even if they may cut off Hydra's heads, 2 new ones will grow in its place, a symbol that... well, to quote KMS Scharnhorst's Motto, "Scharnhorst Ever Onwards.". Saudi Arabia and Iraq has bounced back very quickly and is rebuilding well, but Palestine remains a mess. The HMKX Air Force has undergone several shakeups in leadership after a shameful display in the war. Despite having numerical Superiority and good jets, they failed to defeat TUN. The new leadership is more focused on training. HMKX does not really worry about TUN finding out about UFOS's Battleships.
The FRNS has sent a humanitarian aid squadron to Jordan, Israel, and Palestine, with a clear aid bias to the Arabic nations. Their goals are to provide free medical treatment to those injured in the war, set up camps for the newly homeless to live in, and rebuild the surrounding areas. They are protected by 200,000 FRNS soldiers. The FRNS requests an OEO peacekeeping squadron to help out the 200,000. Given how volatile the situation is, it is likely the camps and soldiers and aid volunteers will need protection from resumed conflict.
OEO approves these measures and acts unliterally of Combines by a 89% vote that overrides veto votes to aid the Middle East. Aid is distributed to everyone, but particularly Palestine. Extremist Israeli have committed acts of violence against Palestinians in retribution for the actions of extremists, and the Israeli occupation has not been kind to Palestine. There is a slight bias for Palestine because HMKX slipped in a few measures that naturally help the Palestinians, some unintentionally and some deliberately. OEO peacekeepers will defend civilians and humanitarian aid workers alike. Saudi Arabia and Iraq, with major HMKX help is exporting oil again and making lots of profit. The Saudi King and Ba'athist leaders are redistributing the wealth to the populace in order to strengthen the country. They are still in power because HMKX crushed regional forces that dared to cause chaos. The HMKX occupation over those two have ended, as they have risen up very fast because they export a crap ton of that sweet oil. Iran tried to seize this opportunity to dominate Saudi Arabia, but HMKX incited rebels in order to buy time. Palestine is still a mess, and Jordan is also one. HMKX however seems intent on helping Palestine only as of now, and has crushed Israeli incursions into Palestinian territory. HMKX is now trying to foster a deal between the Saudis and the Iranians, that they will fight on the same side if Israel comes to a rampage. After all, they may be Sunni and Shia, but both of them do not want a Judaism-dominated Middle East. It has seen limited success, they have agreed to a non-aggression pact if war develops, but not a full-blown alliance. HMKX is trying to eliminate TUN influence in their own government, but it is hard. OEO has arrived in force to kick out both Israeli, TUN and Palestinians from Jerusalem and to reassert dominance over the City. It remains to be seen how Israel and TUN will react (Palestine is in no position to react and HMKX is helping the OEO), but if Israel violently resists they will essentially be violating the will of the entire global community. HMKX is downsizing its Air Force, maintaining all those jets are a pain and it's peacetime anyhow, HMKX'll just make more when they need to, for now all the expensive components go in a box where they can be more easily maintained and the cheaper components sold. However, the Navy's expansion stays. NAE and Guinea's rivalry is just heating up now FRNS seems to be chilling with Africa. They might go to war.
HMKX is finding ways to drastically reduce both pollution and greenhouse gas emissions in their factories, they are the world's #1 polluter and greenhouse gas emitter so HMXK has decided to standardize was to drastically reduce said pollution and CO2. 20 posts until research completion. This will reduce efficiency, but HMXK is going to subsidize those who use the new methods and punish those who do not. HMKX is planning to expand their vast industrial zones to make up for this, as the expansions will create less CO2 than the reductions in CO2 caused by the new methods. In addition, to make up for this in other ways, efficiency is being prized. HMKX is finding ways to profit off TUN's destruction of Suez Canal. HMKX is developing icebreaker vessels to take advantage of the fact Global Warming is melting the ice and to allow FRNS to ship things. This is likely to create a substitute for the Suez Canal, and FRNS as well as others will likely appreciate this greatly. HMKX will charge a small tax in return for using their part of the Arctic sea for shipping products. A larger tax shall be charged for military vessels. Note this is a government-funded project and they are directly profiting off this. HMKX's government acts a lot like a business sometimes.

Jerusalem is not under Israel rule. Its just currently split with Palestine on one side, and the Jews on the other, that didn't happen politically, it just happened due to social tensions. During the war, Palestine showed a continued chain of terrorist attacks on Israel. They bombed shopping centres, booby-trapped roads, shot rockets at schools and hospitals, and even committed shooting sprees. These acts of terrorism were said to be done ONLY by EXTREME-Islamic groups, yet further UN investigation states that it was not the whole truth. They are a regime that focuses on sympathy from the world, especially The Empire and FNRS. They store mortars and military equipment in schools and hospitals and fire from said hospitals and schools. On only one account. Israel shot a rocket at a school which indeed was responsible for the deaths of many students, although in their defence Palestine was shooting from those schools into Israel territory and killing their people. Morally, no side is right, although other nations bias for Palestine is undeniably disturbing. The third addition to the Nimitz Class Supercarriers, the CVN-70 Carl Vision, is complete and will be introduced to the military and begin its training within 20 posts. A new Nimitz Class Supercarrier which has was planned 5 years ago is now nearing the end of Construction. Construction will end and she will join the Navy in 40 posts. All Naval ships, tanks, aircraft and armoured vehicles are going under repairs and inspection, as well as an upgrade, putting them ahead of Empire equipment. The Enterprise was destroyed in the War.
An independent OEO investigation, mostly free of bias (TUN investigation pro-israeli cough cough) has condemned the Palestinians to a certain extent due to their tactics; however, they find that the more grevious violations of the Rules of War were by the extremist group "Hamas" which the Palestinian government has not actively destroyed. HMXK is pushing Palestine to actively destroy them to maintain their international standing and to defend their borders aggresively; terrorism is not the answer, strength is. Make Israel look like the agressor, the world will side with you. Use terrorism, and the world shall turn against you. Palestine in and of itself is no worse than Israel. Their government is smart enough not to instigate war with Israel and was not responsible for the majority of the War Crimes committed, only extremist factions of the Government and Hamas was responsible. And remember, Palestine was desperate, they feared (not entirely unfoundedly, they would've annexed Jerusalem had OEO not intervened) Israel would take away their freedom and rights. HMKX had no idea they were selling to Omni Laham, most of the TO-1 tanks in Omni Laham hands were funneled through shady channels and corruption. HMKX's computer research has continued, unhindered. HMKX is installing the latest computers into all their things so that they may efficiently compete with TUN things for less expense. HKMX is more relaxed about war than TUN.
HMKX is keeping Palestine on a shorter leash after these events, they have proven themselves to be unpredictable and dangerous. They seem to be bent on subtley removing Palestine from the map and opressing Islam; they tried to take Jerusalem for themselves. They were slowly annexing Palestine before HMKX stepped in. HMKX has decided to sell their Calamity-II Supercarriers to NAE and Guinea, they were getting old and are worn out. They've seen far too much action and HMKX wants someone else to repair them. In replacement, HMKX is championing the creation of 2 new Yi Sun-Shin Supercarriers of the now Sejong the Great subclass, name to be decided. Sejong the Greats are a major evolution in the Supercarriers, making them larger but ever so slightly cheaper by means of new technologies.
In which ways is Israel worse than Palestine? There isn't a need to bring up religion in this, because the only reason why Israel wants more border space is that the Jews believe it's theirs, according to history. Israel is NOT oppressing Islam, Israel's only goal is to obtain their land which was rightfully the Jews. And no, during the war Israel was not annexing Palestine without approval. On the Peace Treaty agreed to by NPAT is stated that Palestine borders would change to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. It is in some case annexing, but if the peace treaty wasn't signed by all participating nations, Israel would of let it be. Israel didn't even try to take Jerusalem for themselves. The reason why they took control over it during the war was to avoid conflict in Jerusalem between the Jews and Muslims. It was more of a way to hold peace rather than a way to take it over, they even gave it back to the OEO! HMKX's President, stop spreading false information.
OOC: OEO removed Israel, they stayed until the very last minute. Ancient Claims 5,000 years ago do not make for very good evidence. Palestine now wants to exist as a two-state, because it's the best they're going to get and they realize that. But Israel slowly annexed their land before someone stood up for them. They would have taken over Jerusalem if not for HMKX. HMKX is trying to allow co-existence, both sides are growling at each other. That's why HMKX is putting them on a short leash, they don't want another war. Look at Israel's newest regulation IRL, they literally characterize the country as a Jewish state and deny non-Jewish people the right of self-determination within their borders. Emboldened by TUN backing, imagine what they're going to do!

HMKX possess a copy of UFOS's battleship blueprints and their security is laxer because it's not their problemo... might be a good idea to go for them instead of UFOS.
