  1. I've finished these two games recently. Which brings my perfect games total up to 9 on Steam.

  2. Nice!
The Newgrounds game looks quite unique.
I was supposing Tengami to be a sequel to Okami, but it's not. I found that ookami is Japanese for 'wolf', but tengami doesn't seem to mean anything.

  3. The Henry Stickmin game was quite fun to play through. I definitely recommend that people try it out!
Tengami is not related to the game Okami. It's a 3D pop-up book style game where you control a man and do short puzzles. The graphics and music are great, but I found the story elements lacking.

  4. In February, a European platformer got added to SNES Online. I love platformers of all kinds, but I hadn't played any European ones in a while. And this is one I had never even seen before! :D

I beat it last week. :)

Very fun! It took me 8 hours and 15 minutes. I used the Switch's save-state feature to save the game state between playing sessions, as it is very hard to save your game in the game. I got a full game over (you have 15 continues at the start) once, near to the end of the game. I didn't mind having to replay it though, as this time around I got a lot more of the secrets. :) 81% is quite good, I think!
I might play the game again later, as I enjoyed it a lot. It is sometimes frustratingly hard, but it is really charming. I probably won't try too hard to 100% it though, as it is impossible to replay a level. If you miss something, you'll only know after finishing the level, and then you have to start over the entire game. :p
  5. In expectation of getting an N64 game and Rayman 3 on my birthday tomorrow, I decided to beat Rayman 2 a few days ago!
I had got stuck in the second to last level a while ago, and while watching a speedrun at GDQ, got to know that it was the second to last level. By now I had fortunately forgotten anything I learnt from the speedrun, but I did have a written walkthrough to help me if I got stuck again. :)

    And I did it! :D

This is quite an impressive game. It is rather challenging. I would recommend it to hardcore gamers. :) I am not intending to 100% it. I got a bit over 60% now, and collecting everything seems really hard in this game, and maybe tedious too. Let me know if you did it! :)
  6. a bit more than this. I definitely completed some games before getting steam

bonus points to whomever recognizes all the games there :D

  7. I just beat Dewy's Adventure!

(The picture's not too interesting, but I wanted to share one :p)
This is quite a good game! :) I got to know it because it has some tracks on its soundtrack that are, um... unique. Have a listen. https://vgmsite.com/soundtracks/dew...usic-dictionary/oskztubf/39 Rainbow Smile.mp3 On StreamingSoundtracks.com, these tracks sometimes get requested ironically. :p

I got curious though, and wanted to try the game! It's mostly motion controlled. It's a Wii game, and you hold the Wiimote horizontally. By tilting the Wiimote, the world is tilted, and the main character moves (some stage elements are also affected by this, but enemies aren't). You also use 1 and 2, 1 to attack and 2 to jump. You are a water droplet, but can also raise the temperature to change into a cloud (which lets you use lightning to stun enemies) or lower the temperature to change into ice. The temperature changes also (usually temporarily) change things in the stage.
It's really a very sweet game! It is very charming. The worlds and the characters in it really have a lot of personality. The gameplay is fun too, although it can be rather finnicky.
I am hoping to 100% the game, though! The object is getting an S rank on every stage and boss, and I'm already well on my way... I think. It's hard to gauge, as it is not improbable that the stages I've already got an S rank on are precisely the stages that it's easier to get an S rank on. :p All bosses seem very hard to get. For both the regular stages and the bosses, you need to complete the level within a certain (unspecified) time limit (and for the regular stages you also need to rescue all 100 'Eau'), but while the levels allow some leeway (especially in cases where I can find shortcuts :D), the bosses seem extremely tight. But I'll try to do it! :D I did find a guide on gamefaqs of someone who did it, which I can consult for advice if needed. :)
  8. aye! I love Guns of Icarus! I hate how dead the servers are but it's so much fun!

  9. I beat E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial for Game Boy Advance.
I have never played the Atari VCS version of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, but this one lives up to its name. It's really bad. xD
There are 10 levels, and all of them are playable. The controls are very awkward though, and the levels are really boring, and often very long.
But hey, I beat it! You can play it on different difficulties, but I'm not sure what I played it on. Normal, I guess? I'm not intending to replay it on Hard, or replay it at all in this time. :p
  10. I beat Asterix & Obelix XXL on GBA. I'm well on my way 100%ing it, I reckon, so I'll save my review until then. :) I do hope I'll be able to figure everything out, as there's no complete guide or walkthrough on the web, and I don't know anyone who's beat the game, as far as I know.
  11. I beat Spanky's Quest for SNES!
I didn't know the game before it got added to SNES Online a few months back, but it looked quite fun so I decided to play through it. It got quite difficult!
The idea is unique and well implemented, I would actually really recommend the game. It is very cute too. There are six worlds and if you get a game over you have to do the entire world over, so it's pretty hardcore. The sixth world is a boss rush, which probably took me two or three hours to complete.
But except for some of the time spent on world 5 and world 6, I greatly enjoyed the game! :)
  12. I did it!
I do not have a photo, unfortunately, as there is nothing to commemorate you 100%ing the game. :p
The crazy thing is that, not counting directors, producers, localisation, and the composer, this game was made by two people. It is a 3D platformer on the GBA, which are rather rare to begin with.
All things considered, I think it is actually a pretty good game. It does leave some gaps. For example: you can buy special attacks in the game, and before you buy them it shows how to perform them (each special attack has a unique button sequence to be performed). However, after buying them you cannot see these again, so if you forgot how to use them you can't use them anymore for the rest of the game. :|
My biggest issue with the game, though, was that there are no checkpoints, and a lot of causes of insta-death. Even though the game is very impressive, it is hard to navigate, as the 3D simply doesn't work very well, and while you can move the camera, you can only do so on the horizontal plane. So the platforming segments get very frustrating when there's a pit below...
Eventually I accepted this, though. The levels aren't very long, so I would be able to beat each level within 30 minutes or maybe an hour for the hardest ones anyway, even if I had to restart from the beginning sometimes.
Besides the platforming, the game consists of combat. The combat unfortunately is quite boring. It is also mostly very easy. The special attacks help to avoid making it too repetitive, though.
100%ing the game is actually pretty good. You have to collect all Roman helmets and all laurel wreaths. You collect most of the Roman helmets by going through the levels anyway, although here and there you have to go out of your way or defeat some extra enemies (usually all enemies must be defeated to progress). The laurel wreaths are sometimes hidden, but never in unfair places, although there is one that you only have one chance to get, because you need a power-up for it that doesn't respawn.
There are 6 worlds, with in total 29 normal levels and 5 bonus levels. These bonus levels have you sledding down a river or slide, and you cannot lose at them, so the only challenge is collecting everything.
    When you unlock all ...
Wait, for whom am I writing all this? Never mind the details. :p It was a good game, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have prior experience beating frustrating and tedious games.
  13. I finished the switch version of Untitled Goose Game yesterday. It's a cute, very simple game. The game gives you tasks to do and you have to figure out how to do them. The one playthrough was enough for me. I don't plan on 100 percent completing task lists.

  14. I've seen gameplay of it, and it looks like a fun game! Not sure if I'll ever get it, though. I'd probably get it if I see it for €5, but we'll have to see whether Switch games get that cheap, considering that there is the option to buy digital, and especially for indie games this seems to be a popular option (I might be wrong, let me know if you have another insight).

  15. I got it from the eshop for $19.99 + $1.40 tax. You could also try and wait for a Steam sale.
  16. Yeah... I don't get non-physical games anymore, in principle. I feel like this response strengthens my consideration about Switch game prices. :p
  17. I have been playing the WarioWare: Get It Together! demo and really enjoyed it. I already preordered Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania though, and am not going to buy Get It Together! any time soon. However, I thought that maybe I could buy it when I had beaten the original WarioWare.
So I booted it up... and beat it. Within 15 minutes. I was so extremely close to 100%ing the game, that I really don't get why I hadn't done it already. xD
I will not share a screenshot, because I think it would spoil the excitement of unlocking new things.
Since beating it, I've still been playing it however: it's a great game and there's a lot to do in it, even after completing it!
  18. I'm not sure if this is too much of an achievement, but I beat Soccer for the NES. You can play a match on five CPU difficulties, and I won a match on difficulties 3, 4 and 5. I feel like I didn't really get good at the game, but even on the highest level, the AI is not too capable of making goals.

I'm really not positively impressed by this game. It's quite old, I know (1985), but it's got several issues that I find problematic that could've been pretty easily fixed. Two examples: the goal of your team is always on the left, and the goal of the opponent's team on the right, even though it does say switch sides after halftime, and during halftime there is a cheerleader animation that is unskippable.

I also think I beat VS. Excitebike a while ago. I find it hard to tell, because I couldn't find a faq of it, but I beat all of the levels. I didn't get to an end screen, however, and I wasn't sure if that was because the game is endless or because I needed to beat the last level twice, perhaps. I realised, though, that I was done with the game. It is quite a good game, both this game and the original, but it is also pretty frustrating and time-consuming. The game is most fun when you're still learning the ropes, and consistently getting better. The controls are very satisfying once you get the hang of them, I must say.
  19. i used to play tons of online games at online site, but i don't remember which game is it
mostly it come form gamevui.vn, game24h,.... or something like that
i've beaten dying light, back4 blood beta, far cry4, far cry 5, far cry new dawn, just cause 3, just cause 4, broforce, left4dead 2, minecraft, fallout 4 (i made preston mad), castile crasher (there's games which i remember i beaten)
More games i beaten but i don't remember, sorry
  20. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania came out last month, which is a remake of the original two/three Super Monkey Ball games.
Its Monkey Race mini game has a competitive part, where you race a time trial on 3 set tracks consecutively, and try to set the fastest time. The top 100 of player times is shown, and I tried to get into that last Wednesday.
    And I did! :D

I looked at the times above me: they went down pretty consistently, until a fairly sudden jump to less than five minutes. Were those people cheating?, I thought. But then I started thinking some... and got an idea. An idea that worked. To great success.

Then I tried to apply the same idea to another track, which was a lot harder to do consistently... but I managed to do it good enough for this! :D

I'm not sure what the people above me are doing, as I think that even if I was able to consistently do what I'm trying to do, I wouldn't get it done in three and a half minutes.
But this was an interesting experience! It all happened in a day; I did try to get better at it the two days following, but progress was going too slow for me.
8th place worldwide isn't bad, at any rate. :D But I expect that somebody will upload the shenanigans to YouTube some day (maybe it will be me?), and then I'm sure more people will get such a ridiculously fast time.
