That moment when....

  1. I just look into the bold highlighted threads... new posts are there :)

  2. I sometimes use that list as well, but only if I've scrolled down to read the stati. The list only shows 20 threads though (and until recently only showed 10), and doesn't hide the threads you've already read. :)
  3. That moment when you learn a new word, and it's not actually statuses :p
It makes sense, I just thought that statuses was one of English's infamous irregularities.
  4. I just put stati because I liked to use the Latin plural form. :p You've made me curious though, so I googled it. This definition of "status" came from "status" in Latin, which follows the fourth declension. That means the plural is "statūs". In English, "statuses" was also added, which is often more convenient. :)

  5. That moment when you receive a language lesson from yours truly <3
  6. Wait, a lesson from yourself? How does that work? :p

  8. That moment when Chat gets caught on camera :D

Tbh There's plenty of great humorous chat going on at any moment.

But Really Anon, Do you expect no screenies, when you say no screenies  :lmao:
  9. hey farts jokes are hilarious
    Especially when they're unexpected
  10. Stati is not a real word though. The plural of status is status or statuses.
(When it comes to the English language consistency rules do not apply! :))

....I think it might be a "real word" in other languages. But not in English and not as the plural of status :D

  11. Was that from Counting with Pictures? I noticed that too, but I wasn't so impressed by it after waking up with over 800 alerts. :p I thought more people might've experienced an extreme increase in likes, but I see Eviltoade selectively liked posts on my profile made by myself. o.(o)

  12. I think the highest I have ever gotten is around 250, which was indeed couting with pictures. This one, save four, was too. I just thought I'd make a that moment when thing about it, as I thought this thread was abour relatable moments :p

  13. That's cool! :) I guess 50 is also less impressive for me because there was a time when I'd get 30 new alerts every night. :p
I think I've actually gotten over 1000 alerts once, when somebody liked a bunch of profile pages in their entirety (so I didn't only get likes on all my statuses, but also on posts made on friends' pages). Not that I'm such a fan of the act, it seems a bit more like spam than genuine appreciation. :p

  14. I got 83 myself:

    :D

I'm fairly certain I've had a higher amount before, but finding out how high that is is undoable. It most likely happened when I had my old phone, so I probably would've taken a screenshot of it on there, so it's somewhere.... but finding it is like finding a needle in a haystack, as I currently have 4549 screenshots on my old phone. :p

  15. I just woke up with 15 alerts which is the most i've ever had on here personally...

  18. That moment when you're trying to post but this happens...

And, no, this post definitely isn't longer than some other posts I've made... weird.

EDIT: somehow it didn't like the singular image that was in it... I don't think I've ever had this before, interesting.

  19. I have had it plenty of times, it always happens when you copy an image from your computter directly into the forum text box.
I think that what is happening is that the "max characters" doesn't actually couldt characters code-wise, it counts bytes. If your post is too large a file, it fails to post it, which is why an image always fails. :)
Wayy back, when I didn't jet know what imgur was, I tried to lower the size of my images, to make them fit, and found it is actually possible to upload an image directly on the forum, as long as it is really small. :p
